Delicious food. Small Place. Cute decor Probably packed af when it's busy. Authentic AF Taste. Workers were very nice

    Chicken Birria Tacos

I ordered the chicken birria tacos from Gaelos. The tacos were tasty. I just wish they were a little bit crispy on the outside. It came with lime and radishes, and a touch of guacamole, and Birria sauce. The chicken was seasoned well and came with a lot of flavor. I wish the birria sauce had more seasoning. I'll come back fro the chicken tacos. Service was good and speedy.

This is one of my favorite spots to come and eat when I'm in the New Brunswick! The service is amazing and the lady's are nice. The food is also amazing! Never fails to disappoint me. I come here with my family a lot! Parking is a little tight and the location is small too but food does the job.

TLDR: Decent Mexican spot that's slightly pricey for what it is. I would order the quesabirria again. We ordered the beef quesabirria with consome and carne asada fries for takeout. The quesabirria, which remained hot and crisp after a short ride, was filled with tender shredded beef and melted cheese. Paired with the consome, it was a delight to eat. The fries are your standard cafeteria issue loaded with toppings. While the toppings are generous, these fries don't hold out well under them. It was difficult to ignore the common tough and stringy piece of beef. The meal was a little pricey for what it was but comparable to similar Mexican restaurants in town.

TLDR- amazing rice and beans, refreshing drinks, filling portions, fresh warm tortillas!!, find street parking I came here for lunch with a few friends after church and the place was quite busy and the staff was welcoming. There's only room for about 5 cars in their small parking area, but you can easily find street parking a few steps from the restaurant. Inside it got a bit warm since the AC didn't seem to be on so the door was kept open to allow for a cooling breeze. Starters: I love it when Mexican places have complimentary chips and salsa and this place had my favorite kind of freshly fried tortilla chips with a trio of salsas. The salsas were all really fresh and had a range of mild to medium spiciness Main meal: I got the Chivo platter and it was my first time trying goat as well. I was amazed by how good the rice and beans were. There were just perfectly seasoned and went so well with the goat. The platter also came with warm freshly made tortillas. Half the time I wrapped up a bit of rice, beans, goat and salsa from the chips into the tortilla and the rest of the time I just ate the components straight up. Since the platter was so big I had enough leftovers for a second meal! Drink: The cucumber lime drink was sooo gooood! It's such a refreshing blend of blended cucumbers, lime and some sugar I believe. I think I might stop by again just to pick up a drink to go. I'm definitely gonna be coming back! I tried a slice of the quesabirria pizza too and I'd love to order the whole thing and share it with a couple of friends :)

This was wonderful! The tacos were so affordable and so worth it. The consome was so well made and I loved the sauce they gave on the side. I wish the birria tacos were a little more crispy but I did get them to go, so I'm not at all mad about it. It's small and super quaint but I thought the food was delicious and I can't wait to go back to try more things! I think there is a discount for tacos on Tuesday, so excited to go back for more!

Very awesome legit tacos! Will definitely be back in the future, our server on Tuesday night was very fast as well.

I've been ordering from Gaelos since they sold takeout from their home... cars would line up outside their street to try their amazing Birria. Now that they have their own place I couldn't be happier. Even though it's pretty small establishment, it's very cozy & huge on flavor. My go-to orders are the Chicken Flautas with extra toppings, chicken or beef birria & their Nachos de Chorizo. Oh and the natural waters (cucumber/lime, watermelon, or tamarind) delicious and very refreshing. Prices are very reasonable... if you're in the area it's definitely a must try.

The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food in a very homey atmosphere. The servers are kind, attentive, and so helpful; from time to time, you might even be served by Pancho himself, who is an absolute gem! We started with the guacamole and chips, followed by the nachos, where you can customize them with your choice of meat. For our entrees, we ordered the Huaraches with steak, which is a large, handmade, slightly fried tortilla topped with beans, onions, lettuce, crema, and cheese. We also got the Tacos, which come five to an order. You can choose up to two meats, but we stuck with the classic Al Pastor. The meat was so tender and flavorful, served with the traditional onion, cilantro, and lime on the side. Finally, and my personal favorite, we had the Picaditas. Like the tacos, you can choose two meats, so we went with Al Pastor and steak. Similar to the Huaraches, these are four smaller, slightly fried homemade tortillas with green and red sauce on the bottom, topped with lettuce, onion, and cheese! To wash everything down, we had the homemade Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea), though their Horchata is also delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite spots; it reminds me of my childhood, and the food is just as good as what you'd find in Mexico. If you're looking for an authentic experience, this is it!

This unassuming gem is so great, and seems to thrive on takeout orders, leaving the dining room virtually empty (yay us!) We had an assortment of dishes to get a feel of what this place was good at and to no surprise: they aced every single one. The fish tacos, though they looked plain, were so flavorful and crispy and we couldn't get enough. The other types of tacos were also packed with flavor and so incredibly addicting. We also shared nachos as an appetizer and to our surprise, the chips were fresh and the nachos were topped with tender pieces of steak. It's hard to find a good pozole, and this one was filled with meat and honestly could have served as two meals with how much was given to us. This just might have to be our new go-to Mexican spot - it seems like my days of taco trucks are over since I can get some amazing tacos here!

First, staff is super -super nice!! helpful when trying to decide what to order. Mini Me and I both chose three tacos carne asada with the smokey roja sauce. Hubby had the same but as a burrito. For the sides we had chips and guacamole and the Mexican street corn. Drink were Horchata (Obviously). Tacos and burrito were stuffed, and absolutely delish. They have a self serve salsa bar with the three salsa, the smokey roja, salsa verde and habanero. Let me just say I tried all three- fantastic heat to flavour ration and I poured the habanero on my tacos so good! in fact the smokey roja with the salsa verde is a great combination !! Seating area outside is much larger than inside, we sat inside at a table that had just become available- they do a super brisk take out business and we didn't wait very long for our food to be ready. In fact, my husband and Mini-Me - all three of us, agreed we would for sure make the drive again to have tacos here!! If you are in the area or at school near by- you have to come here at least once, to try the food. I paid for my hubby since he was not my +1 and his meal was about $16. so that in itself is very very reasonable for the amount of food you get. We were very pleased with the food, service and price point.
