Do NOT take any electronics here to fix! Their customer service is HORRIBLE! They promised to fix my tablet in 3 days, and 2 weeks later it still was not fixed. The manager then refused to give me my tablet back. Once I got it back my SD card was missing and they still have not returned it. I also found out that they damaged the tablet to the point that it now cannot be fixed. I have emailed corporate with no response. When I went back to get a number to corporate, the manager was nasty & refused to speak to me or give me the number. It took the police to arrive in order to receive the number to corporate. Funky shop; knowledgable, kind staff. They price with integrity and deliver on or ahead of schedule. This summer, my brother-in-law had a phone issue requiring repair. When the issue proved beyond the scope of what was diagnosed, and a new unit was going to have to be purchased, and the manager refunded him his money. I thought this showed a lot of integrity. Therefore, when I required some work on my computers, this was my first stop. My work was completed within the timeframe quoted, and for less money. Watch out!!! as soon as these guys touch your apple device, Apple will void their manufacturer's warranty. Of course they don;t tell you that when you leave a device for service.... I had an almost brand new iPhone 6 plus that I brought over to repair a broken screen. They charged me $200 for it, and 3 months later the phone died completely. When I brought it over to Apple, they checked it and determined the phone died because of the screen replacement that was done using a high heat bonding method. I came back to gadget geeks, they tried to repair but when they were unsuccessful, they just gave it back to me offering no explanation of compensation of any kind. read more

Worst company ever! Broke two iPads ( iPad Pro and a 6th generation, both less than 6 months old) that were there for a simple glass repair. They had my ipad for over two months, once picked up the iPad wouldn't turn on or charge, returned the iPad the next day and after almost 3 weeks was told that it couldn't be repaired. Still waiting on the replacements that they offered. They don't answer the phones and was told by the neighboring company that there have been a lot of complaints and that police reports were made and that we should just call the police and make another report. Police (CSPD)was called and we were informed that they have received numerous reports about this company. read more

I brought this company my kids Ipad mini for a cracked screen to be fixed. They told me it would only take a few hours to replace the screen and I could come back in the afternoon to pick it up. When I returned just prior to their posted closing time they brought the Ipad out to me with the screen put on wrong with obvious scratches. They told me that they would put a new screen on again and I could come back the next day to pick it up. I returned to pick up the Ipad the next day. Upon receiving the device they were unable to get the screen to light up and told me that they tested it and believed that they accidentally broke a fuse for the back light. They told me that they needed to speak with the owner and the head tech but since I brought it in to them in working condition they would take responsibility and fix the device. I received a phone call that same day explaining to me that they were going to send out the device to their repair shop and it would take 7-10 days. Three weeks later I finally received a call telling me that they had received the Ipad back and I could come and pick it up. I went in to pick up the device and when they tested it before giving it back to me the Ipad still would not turn on.I spoke with the head technician who told me numerous times that they would replace the Ipad if they could not fix it since I brought it in originally in working condition. To date the owner of this company refuses to give me a new device, three months after the fact and four months since bringing the device to them. They lied about their policy to replace the device. I am in the process of filing against them and would not advise anyone to use their service as they clearly are not capable of keeping their word about policy. They also had my device for an extremely long time for a simple screen replacement to which they proved they are clearly incapable of performing. read more

I took in my surface and told them the problem and they charged me 160.00 and it came back not even turning on..I used my warranty and they had me take the battery out and hold the on switch and it turned on no problem..Sent it out for a complete run of diagnosis and they said the motherboard was needing replacement and they did no money charged to me free shipping and handling two days I sent it out to HP on the 16 the of January and got it back on the 19th of January.. Gadget Geeks had it almost two months and charged me and did not fix... Sorry just being honest I think that I phones may be all they can do..Not good business I say and I really wanted them to be the guys as all of my computer's are custom and I will not suggest them for a repair..They want the 160.00 for the diagnosis and then they hold on as if they are still figuring the problem out just to give it back in worst condition then given to them.. My phone was not charging . My whole life is in Note. I passed by the place many times and figured to try it. Was told I needed a new port. Was told the price upfront and pick it up at 4. When I cane back, to my surprise was told the phone charged and didn't need the port. Now I'm no tech guy and they could have done the work or not done this and said they would, I'd never would have known. I appreciate honest people. They are young and do know their stuff. I was happy to find this place after going to best buy and being quoted 130$ for a repair. They quickly removed my virus and my laptop is good as new! They even offered me a free anti virus. They kept me in the loop and called to verify whether I would agree to go ahead with the service. They were true to their quote( between 50-90$ depending on the severity of the virus), and honestly I am excited to have such a good service offered so closely. read more

Brought my son's IPad mini in after seeing the stores sign from University Dr. I had contemplated going with a random Groupon business but as with everything, low ball prices usually bite you in the end. I was given a reasonable and competitive quote and told it would be ready that afternoon. Because my son had put a passcode in, they were not able to start immediately. They let me know it might not be ready til the next day. Received the device then, price was as stated, very friendly staff. I went here yesterday afternoon and spoke to them about fixing my phone that had a broken screen, fast draining battery and getting very hot. The guy i spoke to was very nice and was very honest he said it be cheaper to replace the phone then to have it fixed. That type of honesty is rare cuz he didn't have to tell me that he could of easily took the phone and fix it but he didn't. I took his advice and went and replaced the phone. I took my device in to have the screen repaired. Paid up front and was told I would receive my device in about 10 days. Fast forward 3 weeks later, I called saying I wanted my money back along with the device, the owner, who refused to admit fault, said it was now ready, but they would go ahead and put the broken screen back on so I could get my money back. Beware of this place. This is was my 3rd time there and the messed up my phone the twice after I decided to give them another chance. They replace the face on my 7 and messed it up now the home button don't work and then advise me to go to Apple when they know the phone will be out of warranty and Apple will NOT fix it. Now I have a phone with no home button and they won't fix it. They charge Over 150$ and then completely don't repair the phone with a working home button. I can't fully judge a 4 star place based on a 20 minute experience. However earlier this year I walked in, and apparently they didnt hear the door-chime like I did. Even after calling a few minutes before and told them I'd be there asap for a quick but expensive iphone screen replacement, I walked in just to hear a few people giggling in the background. I awkwardly stood there and pretended to be interested in things on their wall for a few minutes, then kinda coughed out loud so they could hear me. I even laughed to myself at how many times I coughed and tried to make noise but I didn't want to be that guy to say "excuse me, hello?!?" if there was a bell I would've dinged it though. Needless to say, i walked out, they finally heard the door chime as i left, i was in reverse in my car I could see a worker walking out of the building looking for who was there, but it was just one customer lost. One isnt many, it wont make or break the place, but it wasted my time and I left without my stuff fixed. I doubt I'll be back, but I only chose this place as a last resort in the first place. If I do again I hope they're realize I'm even there. read more

My girlfriend came into the store to get her screen replaced august 31th which was Monday . Price was good and turn around time was fast, once she gets home, she realizes her photo app was open. And one naked pic of hers was viewed. Total privacy issue.bring your phone in and your photos are viewed. Imagine what else they go through, contacts , emails . Totally would steer clear . I see good reviews on here so wouldn't be surprised if this is something new. read more

AVOID this place at all costs. Paid the deposit for them to order a new screen for my phone. They said 3-4 days they would call me. After 5 days I called them to find out they received the wrong screen. It would be 2-3 days for correct one. Not extremely upset because my phone was working - the screen was just cracked. July 3rd they called and said they had the correct screen. I dropped it off on July 5th and was supposed to be able to get it back that evening. They called me at 4:30 and said that they had the wrong screen again. Again - not too upset because the phone worked. No it doesn't. They took the cracked screen off before they checked the new one. Again - the wrong screen and now my phone is broke. Their offer of 10% off a $79 fix was insulting. When I asked for my phone back because I now have no confidence in their ability to repair correctly they would not give it back unless I paid balance. When I wrote out details of our interactions per my credit card company and asked them to sign, they refused. They would also not accept credit card payment to release my phone to me. I had to pay cash to get it back. Hopefully my horrible experience will save someone else the headache. read more

DO NOT, I repeat Do NOT take your phone here to be serviced!!!! I took my iPhone 6 there to have the battery fixed and it was the worst decision I could've ever made. Well the battery is fixed but now the Touch ID will no longer work (A problem they claim they had nothing to do with) and my screen no randomly blacks out for no reason!! The gentlemen there were very nice but apparently have no clue what they are doing! After I realized my Touch ID didn't work I took it back to see if it could be fixed, well that was a BADDD idea! They completely restored my phone. (Lost all photos, apps, contacts) and to make matters worst the Touch ID still does not work properly!! Now they told me to take it to apple. Well that's what I should have done to begin with. Great prices, but your iPhone will be in even worst shape when they are done with it! DON'T COME HERE unless you want to completely ruin your iphone. Maybe they are better with androids or computers? Otherwise they shouldn't be in business!!! read more

WORST REPAIR SHOP EVER. I brought in my shattered iPhone 5s to have the screen replaced and they said they could do it for $100 and I got my screen replaced with some cheap glass ask if you ask me. I immediately noticed my front camera flash was dim and not as bright as before but whatever and then came to actually trying to use the phone. All of the calibrations were messed up and I couldn't even use my phone for anything. I couldn't compose a message, scroll through my email or instagram, and the phone would spaz out and freeze. Yeah, new screen but I couldn't even use my phone without it freezing and me touching the keyboard would be all delayed and wouldn't even type the letters I was typing. Completely unusable so I take it back to get a new screen again under their 90 day warranty 2 days later because I didn't have time and they said they will try another screen. I dropped the phone off a little before 10:30 am and was told by who I'm assuming the owner is that it would be done by 2:30 p.m. Cool, I'll come back then. 2:30 pm rolls around and I walk into the store and the worker (Marc) tells me he hasn't even started my phone yet and is gonna begin working on it. Nice communication skills and way to relay it back to the customer that my phone wasn't gonna be ready by then. But it's get better from here, I'm told he will call me when it's fixed. I wait an hour or so and hear nothing so I go up to the store because I live close by and Marc goes to tell me that they ran out of black screens for my phone so he was gonna ask if he could use a white screen instead. He didn't even gonna contact me about the screen color until I head up to the shop again. So I'm basically waiting around for nothing. So I say sure because I would just like my phone. So Marc tells me he will call me once it is done. I wait another hour and maybe 45 minutes and decide to call them because it only takes about an hour to have a screen replaced. I'm told on the phone by Marc that my phone wasn't working properly with the new screen and they had to put it in recovery mode so they could restore it and he was gonna call for my permission. Once again, I had to reach out to them for a status update. So this is where it gets good, I wait another hour and call the shop again and I'm told by Marc that my phone is stuck in recovery mode and he's trying to get it out of it and he will call me with more information. He also said every time the phone powers up the screen just flashes red. I decide to head up to the store a half hour later because I want to know what is going on with my phone and am told when I get there that iTunes isn't letting them restore my phone and its stuck in recovery mode. I watch him do it and it won't restore itself on iTunes. I tried restoring it myself with apple care at home and no luck. All they offered me was a refund and my old apple screen so I can take it to apple. They literally broke my phone and made my situation worse because I could still use it before but the screen was shattered but still completely usable. Marc puts on my old cracked screen and it's not even the same screen as before. All I got was a refund and no good explanation. I went in for a screen repair and ended up with a broken phone stuck in recovery mode. I don't feel like these people are professionals at technology at all and are more like amateurs. They basically broke my phone and made it COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. If I had known this was gonna happen I would have kept my shattered phone. Just because they have the tools to make a screen repair does not mean it will be professionally done. I decided to just cut my losses and buy a replacement at Apple because they couldn't fix it either. $233 down the hole. Also, when I got my phone back the first time my notes app was opened with my personal information for my emails. God only knows what they look at on your phone in the back room because they need your password. Would never recommend this place. read more
