More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Kim, for making what felt overwhelming into such a warm and lovely experience.

The employees were all friendly, and knowledgeable, and in something I like seeing in shops like this, seemed to lean on each other to compensate for questions they didn't have answers to. I could spend hours here digging through the bins before ever even shopping the toys.

I also never have to worry about card quality or condition, which makes it easy to trust what I'm buying. They're also very fair with their buy and trade values, especially compared with some other shops I've been to in the area. Whether I'm buying, selling, or trading, I've always felt comfortable with the process. Great selection, great people, and just a comfortable place to shop and talk cards. Adult meaning in terms of complexity. So, when I was brought here on their recommendation to find a popular but still niche game called Runes of Arnak. I was impressed that they had it when it was out of stock online at many places. They have all the board games you could dream of, including ones that you can't find easily on places like Amazon. As well as a huge and active play area that had a bunch of people playing games and campaigns on the night that we went. They're open late, so it's easy to go there after work. They even have Gunpla, which are like Gundam models, so like giant robot anime models, figures from things like Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z, a large selection of Pokémon cards and other trading card games like Magic the Gathering, One Piece, etc. They also had a lot of booster boxes, which shows me that they aren't giving into scalpers, which is extremely rare. So, you might actually be able to get product here, which for Pokemon especially is crazy. Given the market. Service was excellent, if not a little understaffed. It was a bit of a line to get my game. So it's clear that people actually running this shop care about the community and not just about pure profit. I know it might be a little bit inconvenient comparing to an overnight Amazon shipped board game, but please go here. Niche shops like this, especially ones that are actually doing well and cater to nerdy hobbies when we've all gotten so lazy, are really amazing... and honestly, the play area kind of felt like a third space to hang out. Shuffle and Cut, I couldn't be more impressed, and I wish for your continued success. Clearly, based on the size of the shop and the amount of people I saw on a Friday night, you're enjoying at least some of it.
