It was a four-hour delightful ride with plenty of food, drinks, sightseeing, and fresh air. Our guide, Andy, was fantastic. He had SO many facts about the city and everything we were seeing--and he was hilarious. Honestly, I think Andy could probably carry an entire conversation by himself if you stopped responding. He just keeps going! But in the best possible way. The themed drinks were a lot of fun. I had an apple cider mimosa, which felt very appropriate for a fall boat ride. They also had a special Oktoberfest mug for $45 that came with FREE REFILLS. My friends took advantage of that for the beer and cider, because apparently they understood the assignment. Food-wise, we shared a HUGE Bavarian pretzel and an apple cider donut. There were also larger food plates available for $16.50 if you wanted to make a whole meal of it. When we went, the leaves were just starting to change, so I can only imagine how gorgeous this ride will be once the colors really come in. I'm guessing mid-November could be spectacular. And PLEASE get upstairs. Take in the fresh air, let the sun hit your face, and actually enjoy those views. It makes the whole experience. Dress warmly, though! I was in a sweater, leggings, and boots and was definitely feeling the chill. And now for the public service announcement nobody asked for but everyone needs: THE BATHROOMS AREN'T SCARY. They actually have multiple stalls. They automatically flush. You will survive. Happy boating, sightseeing, drinking, eating, and aggressively looking at leaves! Would absolutely do this again.

It was 25 degrees outside there was no boat in site at 8:30, the security kept saying they coming. It was now 9:05 no boat. We finally left at 9:15 after waiting in the cold for at least an hour. They had no regards to us all standing in the bitter cold. There was no contact saying they gonna be late. It was a horrible experience. It was so cold at least 5 couples left when we did. Totally unprofessional I will never do that again unless it's in the summer.

It was an hour and a half. The bus arrived and we had to wait another 45 minutes before the bus moved. Arriving at the harbor we were told to wait out in the hot sun for another hour before boarding the boat. Some people just walked off totally disgusted. The experience was a nightmare! I almost immediately changed my mind. It was amazing to learn so much history about the area, and Nathan, our narrator, made it all the more interesting - and fun (he has his 'dad' jokes that we giggled for. The day of our tour, we arrived at our meeting location that was outside of McDonald's. I knew from reading other reviews that we would be looking for a small unmarked van. We walked up to the driver and gave our name, he was able to check us in before I could even pull up our digital tickets. Our tour was small, a total of 10 people, plus our guide, Bryant, our driver, and their "supervisor" This was exactly what we were looking for; personalized service, access to many different points of interest, a knowledgeable guide who shared a lot of information with us and who had an awesome personality which made the tour very fun for everyone. This was by far the best sightseeing tour in NYC, don't get roped into the hop on hop off big bus tours, they simply don't compare.
