Initially my brother hyped up sweet jesus to the point where i had THE highest expectations (as an…read moreice cream connoisseur). And although it was good, it was nothing spectacular. I definitely had WAY better ice cream, but the flavours were still good. We went on new year's eve to st louis just to get their ice cream and the staff were nice despite the fact that the service seemed to be a bit slow. The previous sweet jesus ice cream my brother had was from an actual sweet jesus place (not inside a restaurant) and maybe that could've impacted the quality of it? Overall, nothing too crazy. Good flavours. Although I had the birthday cake one, I would say I prefer brownie over it because it had tiny cookie crumbs, brownie bits, and caramel sauce drizzle on top. Whereas the birthday cake was mainly vanilla and sprinkles (which is still good, but plain). I will probably try the red rapture next time, but from an actual Sweet Jesus store! Rating: 3.5/5

Ouest Wings has incredible reviews raving about their Mexican/Casse-croute meets wings menu for years, and now that I have tried it, I can totally understand the hype.

Finally got to try dine-in and confirmed, I had to roll myself home lol. Should've read my previous…read morereview to warn myself. Luckily, I was smart enough to wear stretchy pants. We went for a weekday lunch and they have beef ribs on special every Wednesday. I originally ordered a 6-rib dinner but our server advised that because beef ribs are a lot larger than pork, that a half rack of beef ribs is actually a 3-4 ribs, so I took his advice and got that. Glad I did! They were definitely huge. I asked for no beans, but got the coleslaw, cornbread, and fries, that came with it. While the sides were good, I focused on eating the ribs in-house because they were piping hot and the fries and cornbread could be easily heated later, if needed, without overcooking. The beef ribs take a bit longer, so keep it in mind if you're in a rush. The barbecue sauce had a nice kick to it, not necessarily spicy, but a kick, and also sweet and a bit tangy. The meat wasn't fall-off-the-bone and had some chew, which I didn't mind. Huge portion for sure! There was also a generous portion of fries. I call them Costco fries because most people understand what I'm talking about when I say that's the kind of breading/fry. I loved that cornbread came with the meal and wasn't an additional cost. I just wish it came with a pat of butter or something. If you're looking for a toddler-friendly meal, you can get the Buffalo fingers starter just plain, without it tossed in sauce. There are a ton of different awards, articles, posters, and signs that line the walls, including one that says they're now pouring Broadhead Amber Ale. Service was great, very attentive, fast, and friendly. We came just before the lunch rush, around 11:30-11:45am and there were plenty of tables and it was easy to order and receive our meals in a timely fashion. Family-friendly place as well, though I think they only have a couple of high chairs. Loved that it was laid back and they didn't mind our excitable little dude.
