I'm a fairly competent mechanic, myself, but no longer choose to work on cars so I some idea of what good autobody and mechanical work is. All the work we've had done has been excellent, they have always stuck to their estimate, have always been able to schedule the work quickly and have had it finished when they said they would. My wife stopped in one day with a light bulb burned out. I don't know if they recognized her as a regular customer, but they stopped what they were doing and replaced the bulb, then my wife had to insist that they charge her for the work. If there is a better shop anywhere in the area, I haven't heard of it.

Chad took my car for a road test, determined what the problem was, jacked up the car, fixed the problem, road tested it, and it was FIXED while I waited. Can't beat that! I've been going there for at least 15 years for numerous issues and they've always been friendly, patient and highly competent. My only gripe is that like all dealership affiliated repair shops, they are WAY expensive! That must be at least in part because they are obliged by the terms of their contract to use only Toyota parts. For an old car like my present one, that's really not worth it. I wouldn't use them if it weren't covered my insurance.

There was only one time of oil change, that a small mistake was made and they fixed it right away. I always feel so confident about their work, and usually it is done very fast. The gentlemen at the front desk are also very car savvy and provide useful suggestions on driving and maintenance. It feels like a family, and this place is owned by Confer's family for generations. The waiting area and restrooms are all pretty nice even though not too fancy. While waiting you can also go to check out the BMW section in addition to their Toyota car models. Really appreciate it! The dead SUV and myself are on the way to Walmart to get a new battery. 11:30 pm Resurrected Nissan and myself are pulling out of the lot of Iceman Towing and on the way home. After a mechanic replaced the alternator and battery terminals, less than a week later, another breakdown. I called Iceman the next morning and he scooped it up and took it back to his shop. Now, although 40 miles away, the communication was as smooth and effective as the couple hours I spent with him just a few days before. I owe him a helluva lot more than he charged me. Class-act, talented and personable guy with the knowledge and problem-solving skills that make him perfect for doing what he does.
