Septic backed up and was expecting guests. Call my regular service for 2 days with no reply. Found G Septic online and Edgar called back immediately. Said he could come out by 3 - 4:00PM same day. He showed up and drained the septic then found the pipe to the house was blocked and fixed that. Double checked everything was working properly before he left. Was very comfortable with his way of handling problems. I felt the pricing was average!! Will definitely use him again. read more

Edgar is very thorough, hardworking and kind. Definitely recommend him for septic services.

I really can't say enough good things about Edgar and G Septic. I've had him out to pump and service our 45+ year old septic system a few times, and I'm always struck by his competence, intelligence, and engagement. He really knows his stuff and is more than happy to explain what he's doing and how the system works if you're interested. He'll also proactively point out options for improvement without selling them. He is 100% ethical, committed to building jobs in his community, and just a pleasure to work with. Additionally, he's very savvy when it comes to working with engineers, so as not to get out of his lane and potentially cause unanticipated issues. You absolutely cannot go wrong calling G Septic. read more

5+ Stars! Highly recommend. Edgar was prompt and thoroughly explained the scope of work before beginning. He did an inspection and determined that a pumping was needed. Edgar conducted the work safely and meticulously cleaned upon completion. Edgar was very professional and the pricing is great. If you need any work on your septic, G-Septic is the only place to call. I cannot recommend them enough. I'll be seeing Edgar again in a few years to have my system pumped. I am also quite sure that all of my neighbors, from my many recommended, will utilize his services. read more

I exposed the tank and called Edgar with the measurements and he gave me a quote that depended on the size. After pumping, he said it was a smaller tank so it would be less money! I really appreciate his honesty and strongly recommend his firm. read more

Dude, edgar was a life saver. i see it said so many times on his reviews and now i know why. Literally THE DAY BEFORE OUR BIG CHRISTMAS PARTY - here at my in-laws, their toilets clogged up and wouldn't flush. so my father in law called a pluming crew to come out ... they came out and gave us the run around and we needed it fixed Today. So we were ready to Air BnB it and spend 3k on air BnB. But i kept calling people - Edgar reached out and i explained to him everything. here's the best part- usually they says "i'll have to come look at it first before anything ... but edgar told me what to look for and walked me through it and i did. And he got the pump that i needed even when this big company said they couldn't get their hands on it until friday (today is tuesday) He got his hands on it and brought it over ... He's the even better part! PLEASE KEEP READING... He ran his tests and concluded that he just needed to wipe some grease off and tested again and all the toilets worked. we saved close to $3k today and he could have easily had went ahead and installed it and charged us what he said he would. all that to say, integrity 10.. Punctuality 10... thank you, Edgar. read more

When I realized my septic pump was not pumping, and the alarm was not going off, I called G Septic. Edgar came out the same day and found the problem very quickly. He left to get parts and returned to do the repair. He also rewired the existing connections, so I didn't have a bunch of wires sticking out with all the little colored caps. Plus, he picked up after himself Everything is working fine now and I couldn't be happier. He's quick, efficient and particular about his work. He explains the process thoroughly. I highly recommend him. read more

This review is long overdue. I bought a country property in Sebastopol 4 years ago and have been finding issues ever since. Edgar has done 4 big jobs for me and every time his work has been exceptional. He's open and honest about what work is critical but also offers additional services or 'nice to haves' without doing a hard sell. His work is always excellent, and he and his team always leave the property in better shape than when they started. I highly recommend Edgar and his team! read more

When you live out in the country, you need to trust people, especially when you don't know anything about what you're dealing with. Edgar has earned our trust. We had him pump our septic tank two years ago. It was full again and draining very slowly. Even after working a full day, he came by at 6:30 at night to pump our tank. After some discussion, he suggested that there might be a problem with our leach field. He could have just pumped our tank and went about his evening knowing we'd still have issues. He didn't though. We scheduled a time for him and his crew to come back and look at the leach field. They found and dug up all of the distribution boxes and cleaned out the lines. There was a huge blockage of roots prohibiting water from getting to the longest of our leach lines. He also found that the lid to one of our boxes was broken and no one makes lids to fit our boxes anymore. He said he thinks he has one in his yard and will give it to us. While the leach field clean out was more expensive than just pumping our tank, hopefully we won't need him to pump our tank for many more years saving us a lot of money in the future. Thank you Edgar and the crew at G Septic. read more

I found Edgar on Yelp while panicking over a situation with our home in Bodega Bay. Despite it being a holiday weekend, he was able to come the same day we called, which was a huge relief. Edgar was professional, thorough, and provided excellent advice on what to look out for in the future. We are very grateful for his help and highly recommend him! read more

Highly recommend! Edgar was so fantastic - came late on a Sunday to deal with my overloaded septic tank (so much rain!) and saved the day. He's so kind and engaging, and helped uncover (and cover back up) my hidden tank lids. Took care of my very big problem with no fuss and a smile on his face, as well as gave me suggestions for how to avoid it from happening again. He's my septic guy forever now (plus I love the TMNT on his truck ) read more

Edgar was prompt, professional and smart. He helped troubleshoot and fix our septic issue. Highly recommend.

Edgar was able to come out the same day to pump our 1200 gallon septic tank. He was professional, fast and took time to explain things to me. His rates were very fair against other quotes I had received. He will be my go to person in the future. He offers way more than pumping and has worked for other companies in the past in this business. Highly recommend him for any septic needs. We will be using him in the future as needed. read more

G septic service ( Edgar) was the best decision I could have made. His hydro jetting service had caught my attention after another large septic company services had a given up. His positive attitude and ingenuity to not give up that inspired me toward hiring him as a second opinion , the one that solved my dilemma. The first pricey company stopped at the sludge buildup, and assumed the whole system was filled. Long story short, Edgar found a blockage behind the sludge, as he had mindfully checked that the system was working further down the line, so a good chance it was likely a blockage, not a failed system. He removed the upper line roots, jetted out and pumped simultaneously the underground pipe sludge throughout the system and restored my system. My family and I were overjoyed as we had already begun water conservation and a tank pump dependent lifestyle while pondering the overwhelming options should the system truly be failed. Edgar is an honest, ethical, straightforward guy, his costs are VERY fair and reasonable. As he says, he cannot do magic, but he does have a track record with his common sense tenacity and hydro jetting system succeeding where others have failed. My only regret is he was not my first opinion. These were very stressful times, now passed. In gratitude and recognition to him ( I rarely do reviews ) I hope my story helps others through the stress by giving him a try the FIRST time around, I highly recommend him. read more

We were very pleased to find and work with Edgar H, the owner of G Septic out of Santa Rosa, found on Angi's list and through these reviews. Our former septic pump company was bought by a large corporation and we wanted to stay local. Edgar answered the phone, scheduled an appointment right away, came on time and did a fine job. He is easy to work with and talk to and tells it like it is (the condition of your septic system). He doesn't try to upsell you, although he does do all related services if needed. We had a pump out in the Healdsburg outskirts and are happy with the results--fair price, too. Will definitely be using him again. read more

After owning our home in Cazadero for only 3 weeks, we woke up on a Saturday morning to find our septic tank full. Our realtor recommended Edgar and he came out the same day. He was able to identify the culprit - a leaking toilet! He even followed up with us the next day with a recommendation for a plumber. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service with their septic tank. read more

Edgar, the owner/operator, was responsive and friendly when explaining the process over the phone. Once on-site, he did his job efficiently, a real professional. He answered all of my questions in a way that made me feel respected. He offered advice, not too much, but spot on. His estimate was accurate, and the eventual charge was on the low end of his assessment. G Septic is a business that puts customers first, and I will use G Septic for the rest of my days. Thank you, Edgar! read more

Edgar is a gift! He's great at what he does but even better he took time to explain how our septic system works, even sharing photos and diagrams and walking us through what to do if the pump ever goes out. He was responsive and communicative, showed up on time (despite having to navigate a fallen tree in the road to get to our place!) and pumped our two tanks in record time. Highly recommend him for all your septic needs! read more

Edgar is knowledgable, a good communicator, responsive, service oriented, and good to work with. My cabin in western Sonoma County is pretty remote. Edgar came out, figured out the problem and a good approach to solving it. He was back a few days later with a crew and I'm satisfied with the results. And we came up with some smart maintenance strategies going forward as the leach field is basically surrounded by Redwoods. I've already recommended G-Septic to a neighbor and would do so again. read more

I called G septic to empty the black water from my trailer. Not only G septic was a way better experience than the last place I used. The owner was quick to respond, and then he also gave me a better price. When he was here, he not only pumped my black tank, but emptied my grey tank as well, which the previous company did not. Definitely going to continue using this company read more

I called on a Friday evening and Edgar came out on an emergency call and was able to clear my septic tank that evening. He was in constant communication during the process since it was at a rental home and I was not onsite. I highly recommend. read more

Super service. Edgar worked with my schedule to fit me in. He worked hard to fix my problem. Unfortunately, after pumping my tank, he discovered that redwood tree roots have clogged everything, and I'll need much more than a simple pumping of my system. He didn't try to talk me into additional services, which probably would not have solved the problem. He just let me know about the situation in a clear manner and discussed my options with me. Edgar kept me informed throughout the process. He was very professional, friendly, and respectful. I recommend him without reservation. read more
