I was so remarkably thrilled when my father declared that he wanted to go!! I should probably mention that my father has two children, myself and my younger brother who are both above the age of 20 and no grandkids at this time so while it was a little unusual, we all went together as a family and had a truly remarkable time. I even walked away with a little Mickey Mouse shoulder pal for the next time I am at the parks! I love how the show addressed some original Disney some newer Disney, and even the stories that we're going to come out later this year in live action (like tangled!) I was so enamored with the skill of these ice skaters.... Their acting and movements were pristine! When they discreetly put on Rapunzel's long braid so that she would skate around the ice rink and her braid would grow and grow I felt like I could just burst into tears!!! I've always been a Disney fan, and that moment left me with as much as the little girls in front of me. I'm looking forward to attending more events at Eagle bank Arena in the future, even though I am several years post graduation. I would highly recommend it!

The concert room had tables where you can eat and drink while enjoying the music. They have several rooms for different types of events here. Some rooms are for music events. Other rooms are for UFC MMA fights. The center is part of a larger shopping center, so there is free parking. There are accessible parking spots somewhat close to the entrance.

No one out front, actually had to call out "Hello???" to get people to come talk to me. Asked for someone to open the team store so I could buy a hat and got told to come back at 1230. It was a Thursday, I found the time to get here in the middle of the day, no. Open the store. Asked them to call whomever ran it and they did, got same answer, he'd be in at 1230. Was completely made to feel like an inconvenence. 4 people there, not sure all of them were employees, 3 dressed in team apparel and a 4th dress like they were going out afterwards, but not at all like an employee. Staff has 2 jobs there, sell tickets and sell merch, NO clue why they needed FOUR people (that I saw) to not do either. I'll pass on the George Washington hat, and if you're still reading go down the road to Richmond and support the Squirrels, at least they hire staff that don't come off as put out at having to not do their jobs.

If you ever get the chance to participate in fan events, I highly suggest attending. The staffers from the referees and coaches to the players and event planners are awesome. Women of Washington is exactly as it sounds. It is the club for female sports fans. There are monthly activities which range from attending games, parties in the owners suites, fundraisers, blood drives and meeting players. If you are driving to the park and you are not familiar with the area, look up a route that will avoid tolls. Getting to the field can cost $3.50 to $10 in tolls, to nothing; if you are a skilled navigator. Go Burgundy and Gold!

This was the best of both worlds for Independence Day - baseball and fireworks! Free parking and lots of activities for kids. Various concessions, but they lines were SO LONG and took forever. We ended up waiting until the bottom of the 6th inning to get food hoping it would die down a bit. Still stood in line for over 20 minutes. I'll say that the black bean veggie burger I got (with chips and cole slaw for $10.50) was surprisingly good. Bottled water could stand to be a little cheaper, $3.75 for one bottle. Their sound system definitely needs an upgrade. The female emcee throughout the night could not be understand on her handheld mic. The sound was very low. Anyway, the game was fun, fireworks show was worth it and there were ushers helping out all over the stadium. If you don't mind waiting around a little after the game ends, getting out is fairly quick. Fortunately my kids wanted to run the bases so that ate up about 20 minutes of us letting cars clear out.

There were heavy thunderstorms between 4:30 and 5:30 pm, after which the weather was clear and dry. After the heavy rains it is understandable that there would be a small rain delay in starting the game. The stadium was open by 5:30 and letting fans in. However, we were left sitting there until 7:20 pm without any prediction when the game would start (despite several announcements promising a start time). The only information we got was that we were certainly free to spend money on concessions while waiting. At 7:20 they finally announced the game would be postponed. This is a callous disregard for the fans, their time, and money. If the field was unplayable due to weather, or whatever the reason for the postponement, the Keys should not have wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes of the fans' time before announcing the decision.

We (Terrapins) had a pretty big lead, but UConn was not going down easy. It was a nail biter! What brought us here was a trip w/the AAU girls team. They were all excited. But yeah, there's plenty of parking; there has to be for a place this big. We parked a decent way back and walked up to the court with no problem. Oh, and parking is free. Make sure you don't have an umbrella or purse bigger than ......a big index card. They wont let you in. But, it's thoughtful of them to have a small trailer w/lockers outside in case you need to store something that can't go in. INGENIOUS! Of course the food is expensive, what did you expect? And don't think you'll be able to get 2 beers (one for you and one for your partner), because......... NO. You can only purchase 1 beer for 1 person. So, if you're doing the food & beer run, bring the other person or you'll just have to go back. The food options are okay; typical of the venue. The do offer Ledos pizza, which is pretty good. I also purchased chicken strips w/fries and dipping dots. Of course, leaving such a huge venue always calls for patience. They pretty much have it down to a science at this point. It'll still take you some time, but you're not there forever. I'd like to go back for another game. It's such a nice venue.

Walking is easy but recommend eating before you arrive because it's very hard to get a seat at a restaurant nearby, which is not the arena of course. Seats are ok but roomy enough for normal sized people. There is not much space to allow people to walk in front so you have to get up, like the wave, if anyone has to get up. I managed to wait-others should try it out. The views are great.

Northwest Stadium still doesn't sound right. I'm used to "FedEx Field." We attended a tour of the…read morestadium and parked in black A parking for free. Those spaces are probably $200 on game day. Morgan Blvd Metro stop is approximately a mile away. Metro parking is frequently free on Sundays. Parking lots by Morgan Blvd are around $15. The Green lot by the stadium is around $50-$70. It is much more practical to metro & walk a mile to the stadium. There are buses (Bus Bay F) but traffic is heavy on game day. Another option is Spot Hero or other parking apps. PSA: If you are entering the stadium, pay attention to the prohibited items. The ONLY bag you can bring is a clear plastic stadium bag. I use a clear cosmetic bag for my wallet, keys & chapstick (inside my stadium bag). I minimize what I bring so I can have room for any free swag or merchandise I might purchase. Food vendors include: Ben's Chili Bowl, Capo Deli, The Peach Cobbler Factory (amazing & yummy) & DC BBQ Pocket. Legends Plaza usually has food specials (i.e. hotdog & a beer $9.99). Ticket prices vary: Nosebleed section $33-$78, and other sections can sell for $135-$300+. December tickets to a Commanders vs Falcons game were starting at $50.

And the caveat for the day is the Commanders got their first victory of the year over the defending champs !!! The Stadium is beautiful, the employees are more like family members and the food is also tasty while watching my beloved team score TD's !!!
