I was a huge fan of G-ren. You recommend him to anyone who asked and used him anytime I needed. Recently, I had a small job, and was so disappointed in his professionalism. We set an appointment for an estimate, i confirmed he would that he would not be doing the work, as I needed to make arrangements. He was a no call, no show. He finally reached out to me the next day, and we rescheduled for the following day. The next day two guys showed up to do the work, keep in mind I had no price. I was really disappointed, but misunderstandings happen. I reached out to him to reschedule, I apologized for the misunderstanding and sent him screenshots to explain why I wasn't expecting them. I figured after working with him for 8 years, in my home and at work was worth trying to overlook a misunderstanding. His response was that he would do the work I ate half the cost of his guys labor, no apology or recognition that he dropped the ball. It's really to bad, I have never gotten a second bid when I needed electrical work. I am not sure why he was so unprofessional, but I was incredibly disappointed. read more

I was referred to G-Ren Electrical by a friend. We needed some electrical work and additional outlets and switches in a few places on the outside our house. After a quick estimate and a very reasonable quote, we decided to go with them. A crew of three showed up on time, explained everything they were going to do and went to work. They worked very efficiently ,communited effectively and cleaned up everything afterwards. I could have not asked for a more professional and timely install. Everything was a breeze from the estimate, the work order and job completion. I will highly recommend G-Ren Electrical to everyone I know. read more

Roy and his team are highly efficient and very reasonable in pricing, besides being nice people. Thanks Roy!

I love these guys so much!!! I've been looking for years for a reliable, prompt and all around reasonable electrician and Ray and Luis are everything and more! Not only using them for myself, but as a Realtor I take referring vendors to my clients very seriously, and I have given Ray's contact info over to everyone without hesitation. read more

Last month I had a split AC unit installed in my master bedroom. We needed an electrician to install 240V power for the new system. The AC technician recommended G-Ren, and while I originally wanted to use my own electrician, Roee from G-Ren came by on a very short notice, and managed to beat my electrician's price by almost half! He did a great and clean job and my AC works perfectly. Needless to say my new electrician is Roee, I already referred him to one of my clients and she was very happy as well! Thanks G-Ren! read more

Amazing work! Very impressed by the professionalism and customer service! Would highly recommend to anyone needing electrical work. Swift and clean! Thank you, Roee and the entire crew! read more

Fantastic. We got quotes all over the place to have a simple 120v outlet installed for our EV in the carport. Some people were REALLY trying to take advantage (somehow they don't understand we got an EV to SAVE money, not because we had a ton to waste). It didn't take long to set the appointment or even do the work. Very quick, fair price, and great, clean installation -- everything was just the way it should be. Thank you for making this painless and fair! We're using them for our next similar job at a new place we're moving to. Will update review again after :-) read more

Finally electrictian that show up, not only on time but also leaving the job very clean without suprising hidden charge. This was refreshing for our Los Angeles. when I spoke with Roi he was very respectful for our needs, he was very clear about the job and the process, I have to say very professional. I mean he isn't a Dr. But he take his job seriously. This was our second time with G-REN and will continue. I would definitely recommend to give them a chance. read more

I will refer you to another review written 6 months ago by Chauncey G. - we had a similar interaction with the Owner: "Do not work with Roee. He doesn't know what he is doing and caused an electrical issue with my ceiling lights. He came over and told me I needed LED lights. When he put them in they didn't work and they short circuited my dimmer and they no longer work now. I asked him to please come fix the problem and he arrived 30 minutes before our appointment time and then left when our appointment started. He told me to find another electrician to fix the problem that he created. This is unprofessional. In addition, he has a bad attitude!! Don't hire!!" read more

Roee didn't acknowledge an error made by his workers. I had to hire another electrician and pay him $250 to fix G-Ren's mistakes. The main reason I am writing this review is not even that - Roee declined even to come over and look at the issue, was extremely rude and unprofessional, yelled at me - and never apologized. I would not recommend anybody using G-Ren's services read more

I recently had G-REN Electrical come to install recessed lighting throughout my home. Roee (the owner) was very professional. He gave me a reasonable quote and helped with ideas for light placement . His guys we're friendly and made sure to always wear masks while working on the property. They were also very cleans and tidy. I would highly recommend G-REN Electrical to my friends and family. read more

I called early in the morning for a surge issue we had late the previous night. Their crew showed up well ahead of time they said they would be there. They found and fixed the problem right away. They were professional and courteous. I will definitely call them again if we need anything electrical done. read more

First rate. On-time, quick work, very competent & professional. This is the guy you should hire.

Very happy with G-Ren and the electrician sent out, Romeo. I solicited a handful of electricians on Yelp to have a new outdoor outlet installed to accommodate the power needs of our new tankless water heater. Let me be honest- for jobs like these, estimates can be all over the place. I don't have time to be home and collect them! So I usually try to be descriptive and use photos on Yelp to describe what I want done. See my 'before' photo with schematic markup. Though some electricians would not grant even an approximate estimate based on this alone, G-Ren did. Ultimately I paid $75 less than the next lowest estimate, and many times less than the highest estimate, for good quality work that was done quickly and efficiently, just after my initial request. No surprises, just a successful result! Will use them next time I have any electrical needs. read more

During escrow, we were urged to re-wire our 1958-home for safety and updating. Our general inspector recommended G-Ren Electrical. I can tell you that from first meeting Roee was incredibly kind and professional. Not only did he communicate when he was leaving and would be arriving, but he was accurate. Roee took a lot of care in walking me through my home to explain different options and ideas. He was the only (out of 4 people) to take the time and care to do this. We actually ended up adding recessed lighting because of his recommendation, and it made a huge difference in our aesthetic. Overall, Roee's team is full of talented and professional individuals. We really cannot thank them enough for the quality work. We highly recommend them for any electrical job, and we will be contacting them in the future. read more

have used them a couple times and they do a great job would definitely recommend to anyone!

I have used G-Ren over five times and they have always been incredibly professional and have done exceptional work. Their pricing was the best I was able to find in the San Gabriel Valley and Orange County. Besides their pricing, they are excellent at trouble shooting which in the end will save you time and money. I have personally recommended them to several friends and family members. It was difficult to find skilled, reasonably priced, and professional electricians to work on the vast number of jobs on my house. I have used many licensed electricians who were highly rated and recommended, but my search is over. G-Ren is my go to electrical company for all of my electrical work. They have installed over 14 recessed lights (10 above 16 feet), installed a ceiling fan, and four outlets. I only wish I found them before I remodeled a room and added an electrical breaker box to my place. read more

Exceptionally quick, professional and friendly! He called and texted with awesomely clear communication -- getting back to me quicker than everyone else. Did the job exactly how I wanted, even going out and getting extra plates for the outlets we had installed. Will definitely be calling on Roee and his guys again. read more

Absolutely outstanding service! Got the info from Angie's list and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. Royee took 2 chandeliers down and installed it up in my new home all in an hour!!! The work is clean and professional. I had another electrician come last year to hang them and it took three hours. Will definitely hire again!!! read more

Roee and staff are very professional and to the point. I cast the yelp net to see how much it would cost to upgrade to a 200 amp panel. He responded right away, was able to ask the right questions and came out to look at it. He understands how the permitting works with city and power co. As the ultimate bonus piece of advice I told him this was part of a kitchen remodel, and he recommended I might do all the work at once. Honest guy to say that. We ultimately did not use him since we are having our GC handle all the work, but given his competitive price, if the upgrade was all we were doing, we would have used him. read more

We have used Roee on multiple occasions, ranging from a whole house re-wire to an EV car charger and every experience has been flawless and exceedingly pleasant. His quotes have always been competitive and based on the quality of the work and experience he provides, are an absolute bargain. He recently rewired our garage and installed a Tesla wall charger and the end result is fantastic. His team was always considerate and punctual and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I will continue to go to Roee for all my future electrical needs! read more

Masked and ten minutes early!!! Fast and efficient, great recommendation, no extra hidden fees! Will use again!

This is an extremely unprofessional business. When I called, a guy answered the phone in a slurred say simply with, "hello?" Normally businesses answer the phone saying something more professional, like, "G-Ren Electrical." So, I thought I had the wrong number and I asked if this was G-Ren Electrical? He asked me to repeat it twice and then slurred a, 'yes?" It was so weird, so I said, is this the office number? He again sounded really off and said, "Yes, what?" Wow, I wanted to hire them for electrical work but I will not now because it just sounds sketchy and unprofessional. read more

Roee is my new favorite electrician. Another reviewer said that they won the Electrician Lottery. I couldn't agree more. I emailed late on a Saturday night and said it was an emergency and by 7am Sunday morning Roee called me. He was at my house at noon and working on my electrical panel. He discovered that overall it wasn't an electrical problem but a problem with my air conditioning unit and I had to call the AC repair company. But he didn't just drop it. He said to let him know what happened, but even before I got a chance to call him he called me to check in and see how things were. Will definitely use Roee for all my electrical needs. read more

I've used Roee a number of times now and cannot recommend him and his team more highly!!!! They are professional, punctual, knowledgeable, trustworthy and very reasonably priced. I wanted to run some electrical wiring behind a wall above our fireplace and it was not an easy or straightforward job at all. Roee took the time to figure out the best way to do it so no wires showed. He also hooked up LED flood lights around the permitter of my house, set up dimmers in my Living room and rewired my garage so we could charge our hybrid cars. Roee is hands down the best and you won't be disappointed!!! read more

I think I've won the Electrician Lotto! G-Ren Electric is more than I could have asked for. The owner Roee is everything that all the good reviews I read said he'd be. His rates are reasonable, he's attentive, friendly, fast and thorough. Even if something seemed to be a bit more difficult, he'd chose to do it right rather than easy. His calm, can-do, no-drama demeanor made it so pleasant to hire him that I started trying to think of other electrical projects he could do that I've been putting off. It's like having Superman wire your house! Total trust! Look no further if you need an electrician. . .G-Ren will swoop down from the sky to save you from bad electricians! read more

Roee fixed our guest bedroom electrical problem in 2 mins! He knew exactly where to look and what the problem was and boom he fixed it like magic. He did not charge me anything, I remember last time we had similar problem the electrician came in and asked for upfront fee for coming out. Roee was so nice and professional (did not mind my two over excited poodles). He made me look forward to have another problem so I can pay him something! (That part was joking lol) but seriously, thank you Roee I would recommend him to anyone for his honesty, kindness and knowledge. read more

Roee is absolutely fantastic! Professional and very knowledgeable. Worked fast and offered a lot of free advice about my electrical situation, in order to prevent future problems. Roee and his team did a great job retrofitting lighting in our condo and installing LED dimmers. They were responsive, arrived on time and did great work. These guys are amazing. They installed sub meters on my rental property, turned up on time and did a great job.

G-REN Electrical Inc (owned by Roee) is an excellent and very reasonably priced electrical contractor. Our goal was to update the wiring and other electrical units for a 1941 house which had not been updated to any extent. We were advised to get several estimates, but doing so proved very confusing because each contractor made quite different statements of what should be done. Many of the contractors made blanket statements or were quite vague in declaring what they would include, which sets you up for "extras" becoming high cost later changes. We ended talking to about 6 contractors recommended by friends, realtors, Yelp, and Angie's List before the trade-offs and cost of what we wanted just started to become clear. We then did what we had avoided, which was to sit down and write up our own detailed list of exactly what we wanted and where. We gave the list to each of the contractors to get their "revised price" and this really clarified the game being played. Roee (found on Angie's List) was clearly the superior in terms of price, flexibility, and just being easy to do business with. He was especially helpful in deciding what devices to choose and where to place them (sockets, multi/switches, lights, fans, etc.). His charges for add-on extras were moderate and he did not even charge for a few outlets that he added or moved. He would definitely be our recommendation if you had similar work to be done. read more

We had Roee and his crew install recessed lighting in our high rise condo. Would 100% use them again for any electrical work. G-Ren offered the most reasonable price which is why we went with them, but they went above and beyond. They finished the job in lightning speed, made sure that floors/furniture were covered throughout and then cleaned up afterwards. They made no visible holes in any of the walls (we were told by other lighting guys that we would have to patch up a bunch of holes ourselves or hire someone to do it for us). Super impressed and worth every penny! . read more
