Yet another Point Pleasant Beach spot with a friendly staff, and what I can see as being great food. I had a fun evening of snacking in downtown Point Pleasant, with this being my final stop after Bam Bam Burger and Hoffman's Ice Cream. Perhaps I should have stuck to one place and ordered a larger meal, but I am happy to report back that there are plentiful options in town for all sorts of food and that staying to closer to home will make my summer and year all the better. The onion rings served here were excellent, with a moderately-sized, possibly cornmeal batter. The chipotle mayo was quite nice as well, and paired wonderfully. They also have options for Hot Honey and what seems like a house hot sauce as condiments on the side. The balanced ratios made eating this enjoyable, if not a filling snack-nightcap. Ambiance is unassuming, but reminds me of the late-night grubs I'm used to--they're open till 11pm, or 3am for DoorDash/GrubHub on certain nights, so it certainly fits the bill. I have a high expectation for the cheesesteak as being at least as good as what I'm used to on the boardwalk. I will report back when I've tried it at G-Knows, not to be mistaken with the famous Gino's of Philly. While I will miss the Offshore BBQ that used to occupy this space, G-Knows seems like they're doing what they're doing right. read more

G- No, no, no! Stopped in for take out cheesesteaks. Extremely dry and flavorless. If i didn't live 30 minutes away I would have taken them back. lol We were so disappointed. This place doesn't even come close to Pats or Genos in Phllly. It was a total waste of $35 for two below average cheesesteaks. Doordashed lunch from G-Knows, so I can't comment on the service, but the sandwich was super flavorful, the peppers had a good amount of spice - could use a little more cheese but i always feel that way. The mac and cheese bites were delicious, but you could definitely get away with skipping the jalepeno poppers. Will definitely order again to try some of their other sandwiches and apps! read more

Very good cheesesteaks, if a bit overpriced for the amount you get, especially compared to Little Mia's just down the road. My rating is based on the fact that the cooks don't follow instructions for you sandwich, even if it's written correctly on the order sheet. I had to throw away a $15 sandwich because they didn't substitute the truffle wiz for regular as requested. It seems at least one other reviewer had the same problem, so this seems to be a systemic issue at G'knows. It's a shame since the meat and bread are high quality, but I'll be sticking with Mia's for the foreseeable future. read more

I purchased a total of 3 cheesesteaks and the total was 49 dollars and change. I purchased Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak hoagie and a cheesesteak with wiz cheese. I have to honestly say the chicken cheesesteak was disgusting it was a chunk of chicken not even broken into pieces like the regular cheesesteak. It was so chunky and not even real chicken cant even begin to tell you what type of chicken it was it was so chunky and not even tasty. i would definitely say save your money you may have a better cheesesteak from your local pizza place. Stopped here for lunch with my mother. We split a cheesesteak with onions and American cheese. Service was great. Steak was tender and delicious. Recently opened so we gave it a try. We got the classic w/fried onions sharp cheese and whiz. Didn't see any whiz however. We also got cheesesteaks from Little Mias and Jersey Mikes and compared all 3. We didn't have time to get our favorites ,Pat's in the Boro and Vinnies in Wall. We actually weighed the 3 of them, because sandwiches can be of varying lengths and widths. Whitehouse Subs in AC are famous for long subs but they're so skinny. G-knows ($16.07) was the smallest. 14.74 ounces and priciest at $17.44 per pound. Very good with excellent cheese distribution. The onions didn't seem fried. More steamed maybe. Little Mias ($8.26) not a typo, yes only $8.26, was next at 16.47 ounces and $8.02 per pound. It was good but needed more cheese. Jersey Mikes ($17.06) weighed 22.25 ounces and was $12.27 per pound. Very good but the cheese was just on top. G-Knows will do fine, hopefully they won't add a 3% CC charge. They might need to lower their prices a bit and give the high school kids a student special. So it all comes down to how much one wants to spend for a cheesesteak. Are you willing to give up a little flavor to pay less than half the price? As for me, as long as I'm going to clog my arteries, I'll stick with Little Mias, order it with extra cheese or take it home and just slap on a couple of slices of white American. The more money I save now, the earlier I can retire. read more

Gave G-knows a try after recent opening. Unfortunately they made two of the four sandwiches wrong which we did not find out until we got home. The receipt was correct but sandwich order was not. Oh my god. Got food here because my boyfriend said he heard good things. I should have known just by the taste of the cheesesteak that I was going to be in big trouble. The cheese steak was disgusting and had a horrible taste, I forced myself to eat a half of it because it wasn't cheap, but I was disgusted the whole time. The pizza fries were inedible as the sauce is just straight up hard chunks. Two hours later and I'm sick as a dog. My stomach has never hurt this bad in my life and I just keep getting sick.
