I have been coming to this location for a long time now. Everyone has different experiences and cuts and the barber who attends them. This place is a highly recommended for these reasons. They have great customer service always. I've always seen the barbers greet regulars, people waiting, and new people within their shop. Even if they don't it could be your just new. Get to know them and they will get to know you! The place is super bright, clean, shiny, and organized. I've been to many shops before with dirt, hair, or trash everywhere. The team keeps this shop super perfect. They always have good music and tv screening for you to watch. I would highly recommend DTB (Diego) as your main guy to cut your hair in the style and feel you want. He always wants to get to know you not just as a client but as a person with a story. Diego will help you in ideas and choices for your next cut but again its your final choice. He is always great with all ages from little kids to adults. I personally have gotten my haircut from Diego for many years across his journey. He is a 1000/1000. Besides that make sure to come early to find a parking spot. I was not happy being in this location with customers walking in without a mask and the staff not saying anything about it. There is a sign no mask no service but that's not the truth. Some of the staff had mask on but two or three did not though they had the mask pulled down, basically readily available to pull up. But they had the mask down for long periods of time. I let my my hair grow out and thought this would be the place to cut it but before I had a seat the whole room went quiet and all the barbers kept looking at me all strange made me super uncomfortable, definitely not welcoming to all people. I just got up and left. Sad to think I came in with extra money for tip but I left before even receiving any service. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and definitely low end. He's an amazing barber with a great eye and always keeps me looking fresh. Most importantly he's great for cutting women's hair too (there's a difference). Highly recommended. Weekend before that he moved my 9am appointment to 12pm because he said he was going to drink the night before. None of my business and all but just thought he would be more professional than that. SENT MY BOYS ALONE.... Risky I know, but I was short on time and it was my 12-year-olds Birthday. I called over and asked if the shop had time, they said yes. My eldest son has two cowlicks (swirls) on his hair that no one can seem to get right. Ive been told by other barbers after they've screwed up that 'his hair line is crooked', 'he needs to brush it forward an train it'.... I explained his cowlick's over the phone and Gcuts said they'd handle it. My sons Ubered over and came back fast with FRESH cuts, straight hair line, cowlick wasn't shaved off! Used to come here all the time and be cut by Manny. Came in on a Sunday as a walk-in and I'm aware that I'd have to wait. I just asked one of the guys if someone can line my beard. His response: You gotta wait like everybody else. Duh. It's a barber shop on a Sunday. I didn't ask about a wait. Professionalism is way down in barber shops. In addition to this, one barber continuously used the 'n' word in his conversation with the other barber. Not cool. Just cut my hair at this location today with my little brother. When I walked inside the shop, I asked if an appointment was necessary. I wanted to wait and see around for the talented, but the owner said not to wait and to get my and brother's haircut with the two barbers that didn't have any customers. I could obviously tell they were new. I stood there not really wanting to, but couldn't refused the barbers' desperate faces. Although I didn't want a line-up, the guy didn't even line up the sides, which is common sense for a barber. The barber didn't even let me see the cut until he was finished. There are small patches on the side of my head. The two new barbers didn't even speak English and I doubt they had a license to cut hair. They say good things come to those who wait. I say that because I have passed by this barbershop many, many times and always considered getting a haircut there. Finally, today was the day. First, I arrived and was greeted promptly and told I could be seated and was currently second in line. This is important because lots of barbershops force you to play the guessing game, or act like the customer should be psychic in figuring out where he is in terms of his spot in line. Next, I want to mention the pleasant, functional layout. There is plenty of comfortable seating and at least 3, maybe even 4-5, TVs. Then, when I did get seated I received a really good taper from Javier. What more can I say? I plan to return for my next haircut. read more
