The work was stellar -- it took multiple coats to cover the old paint jobs in those bedrooms -- and Luis and his helper worked quickly and efficiently. They really know what they are doing, and they were able to fix several issues on our house that we had priced out with other companies. Marco gave us such a good deal and such a fair price. His workers work very hard and left a place clean afterwards. They fixed our rotting wood spots on our chimney and they patched several holes in the siding. Lots of painters would have just covered it up with fresh coat of paint and we would've been back to needing a new paint in a couple of years, but this company really takes pride and its work lasting and you can tell because they go the extra mile to your home as their own. It's taken me over a year to post this review because life has been busy but they impressed me so much that a year later. I'm still thinking about writing them this review because they were just so amazing and I should've written it a long time ago.

When he answered I said "Hi this is the client". He had no clue who I was or what company I was referring to, after meeting with me and being on the job site an hour earlier. On the phone he spoke to me like he was in a rush and as if he was talking to a friend of his and not a client. I'm not sure how well he does with other accounts but I can't imagine this is good for business. Wish him the best of luck with that type of attitude.

Is quote was reasonable; not the lowest and not the highest. His staff was polite, efficient with time and made sure the work area was cleaned up each day, making sure the gate to the back yard was always shut to ensure the safety of our new puppy. In the busiest time of the year, Carlos kept us informed on when they anticipated to start on our project. The project actually started sooner than I had anticipated and I had not selected the house colors! He recommended using Benjamin Moore on Powell and to work with their color consultant. She was amazing. Carlos also went out of his way to show me pictures and to bring color samples by the house to help in the decision making process. Having to travel prior to final color selection was difficult. Carlos was flexible, rearranging the order of painting, to accommodate travel and to ensure that we would be happy with the final color selection. Once the project started he did a thorough walk around identifying rotting regions around windows and doors and personally replaced rotten wood and caulking all holes, cracks,etc. The end product is beautiful. We went with a beautiful, rich, blue with cream trim and black accents that compliment the style of our home. It makes a statement and brings color to our street and Portland:) We would hire Carlos again for any painting project and highly recommend Ocre Painting. Don't dely, check them out!

From the initial experience of painting the exterior of my home, I sought their expertise to help with a minor project with the interior. I've hired them twice thus far! They were flexible with requests and completed the jobs extremely well. Like a previous Yelper, recommend you clearly outline specifics of the job so there aren't any surprises at the end. Regardless, they remained professional and accomplished the tasks at hand and my home looks FANTASTIC. Given COVID, they were already prepared with masks on and kept their distance.
