In addition to fixing the broken spring, I asked him to look over the rest of the door, brackets, sensors, etc, as we'd been having some other minor issues with opening inconsistently and just overall loudness of operation. Jim located a few things wrong and showed me how those things should be. And then he fixed them! Obvious issues in hindsight caused by the person who installed the door, who was most definitely not Jim. The door runs smoother and quieter than ever. I also like to direct my dollars locally when possible and the company is located right here in Morris. And on top of everything, his pricing was incredibly fair and far below what I would have been quoted by the big repair companies. All in all, A+++ experience with Jim.

And further instructed inconvenienced neighbors to call the police if they had an issue with their company vehicle blocking the alley all day and night, because as he said "the police wouldn' t do anything." The employee reasured me his company would be okay with his behavior to go ahead and call the company phone listed on the pick-up truck. Which signifies either the owner doesn't take accountability for his employees or he has no clue what's going on with his employees. Not recommending Overhead Peru. Installed overhead door…read moreSept. 2017. Not tensioned quite enough. Called next day about billing and ask to come back and tension a little more. Never showed up. Received bill 3 months later(had wrong address apparently) and paid it not thinking. Sept. 2018, tension was really loose now. Called to have them retension explaining I called after Overhead installed it but no one showed up. Hoping it would be fixed at no charge. Of course I received a bill a couple days later. Called them to ask about forgiving the charge. Lady said she would give my inormation to whoever is in charge. No response until Nov. 17 when I received another bill with a $15 fee on top of original charge. Won't be calling or recommending Overhead from now on
