The inventory is really interesting and deep but it is dirty and a lot of the records are in poor condition. Again, I like to dig, but in these circumstances I don't want to pay boutique prices- they wanted $10-15 for 12" records I can get near-mint on discogs for $5. They should consider charging less considering the amount of labor they are putting on the customer. I pulled out a pile of about 20 records but put back 10 because they were scratched and skipped out on 9 more because I could get them cheaper elsewhere. Came out with one record and filthy fingers. No regrets, but I probably won't come back. Nice people though!

I was only able to be in the space about 5 minutes before I felt too claustrophobic and had to leave. There are thousands and thousands of records, cassettes, 8 tracks, CDs, and audio equipment everywhere in this store however - almost like a hoarder house there are pathways carved out of these records and you have to one foot in front of the other carefully walk through without tripping. In the case of an emergency (god forbid) I wouldn't want customer or employee alike to be placed in a bad situation because of how unmanaged and chaotic this establishment is.

I guess you can say this is where many old arcade games go to finish out their days. It's fun to…read moreplay the older outdated games...it brings back a lot of memories. Arcade games have changed so much over the years, so it's nice to be able to have access to them. All games take quarters and they do have a change machine. You can literally spend a few hours in here...just like the good ol' days for some of us. Moreover, there is a store where you can find a lot of older games for older consoles like the Wii, PS2, and Xbox360 to name a few. They have quite a few specials on older games as well. The store offers many other things as well other than playing or purchasing older games. They have gaming-type gifts and they do trades too. It's definitely worth a stop if you are a gamer, looking for a retro item and/or looking for a hard-to-find game or item for yourself or as a gift...or just want a trip down memory lane. On that note, I'm glad places like this exist to give new life to all of these games, etc. It's pretty cool!

I never miss an opportunity to pop in here and have a look around whenever I'm at The Avenues Mall…read more Often, I'll even find myself making an unplanned purchase. It is cool that an actual CD store still exists, but I don't come in here to look at the CDs. If there's a CD I ever want to purchase, I do it at Best Buy so I can get my points and they price match. What's really cool are all the albums they have. I love looking through those. I have even contemplated buying a turntable so I can listen to albums again. But, if I ever do, it will probably do nothing more than sit and collect dust because I do love the crystal clear sound we have nowadays. I can't see spending money on something that will more than likely just end up being a dust collector. Nonetheless, I enjoy purusing the albums. The novelty items are what always bring me in here to have a look around. They carry things from all the latest fads like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, etc. I've even seen a life-sized E.T. here before... very cool! They also have some really cool posters. They have headphones, phone chargers, chargers to charge your devices if they are on the verge of dying (I'm still not sure what those things are called), and other electronic items. Everything is nice and organized. The employees are helpful and friendly. If you find yourself in The Avenues, take a few minutes to pop in here and have a look around.
