Years and years we have spent in this book store. It's great that they still have are around. You're on vacation and you are going to read and enjoy a book. To me, and surprisingly, the children; a "real book" is the greatest of all ! They have all sorts of books. The selection is truly amazing. The books are organized by categories and everything is easy to find . What's not to love when you read a book and enjoy a few moments with your imagination and learn something. To know that is the best gift that you can offer yourself and then talk to others and share it . Purchase a book and read. These days books are a better value for your money. They offer more than you can imagine . Need a special gift that's unique it's all here . After you purchase that book you can visit the cafe and have a drink which is Starbucks for the coffee and little snacks. The Reese's cookies are delicious. The Millbury, MA location is clean, spacious and boasts a large volume of volumes! They have a nice children's section and also offer games, puzzles, toys, and some arts and crafts. They have a cafe with Starbuck's coffee and free Wi-Fi. I grabbed a quick ice tea which was nicely made, and tasted like... iced tea instead of some esoteric designer flavor. First of all, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted at all. The employee was busy on her phone, which felt very unprofessional. To make matters worse, she implied that I was being deceptive about whether or not the toy had been opened, even though I had the receipt and there was no damage or visible signs of wear on the toy. She made me feel like I was lying about the condition of the item, which was completely uncalled for. The stores return policy states that the item must be in "original packaging and re-sellable condition within 30 days of purchase". Although, the toy met those conditions and I had the receipt , she still refused the return suggesting that it was not in re-sellable condition. She also accused me, more than once, of buying the item at a different store (even though the receipt had that store and location on it) I was absolutely flabbergasted by how I was treated. The way the clerk spoke to me was beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. It's a shame because it is a nice establishment, but after this experience, I will never be going back. Stay away unless you want to deal with rude employees and a poor management!

That customer service is unheard of at other stores. I've communicated with this store for specific items that I was looking for and when COVID restrictions were in place, they delivered items to my house! This store really goes above and beyond for customer service. The parking is a bit odd, but there is plenty of it. Walk up the stairs of the brick building and you will face a very long room that seems to go 250 ft maybe. Lots of furniture and shoes/bags right when you walk in. There is a room off the side for cds, housewares and electronics. I think the prices are good/fair for the housewares. The bulk of the building is dedicated to womens and children's clothes. There is one corner for toys, but it is a smaller collection. The men's clothes are in the back and is about half the size, but there is plenty of clothes to be found. I am not from the area, but the prices seem high for the clothes. I bought a t-shirt for $3.99. I personally thought it should be .75 to a dollar. It appears that many of the clothes are priced similar and it is still cheaper than Savers or any department store by far. The check out cashiers are very nice but they take a while. Lena (the owner I believe) was nice enough to convert them into a set of earrings for me. She told me to come back in a few days and they were done. Couldn't have asked for any better service. The prices were so reasonable I ended up walking out with more gifts than I thought. I am a guy and its chocked full of women's jewelry, shoes, dresses and girly stuff so my shopping will be limited.
