Upon arriving, I found that they had only one of these cars on the lot (they had just come out). The salesman told me that they had two more on the way, a white one, and a black one. I give a $500 deposit on the black one, and a week later my car arrived. As someone who used to sell cars, let me tell you that #1 Cochran is an honest dealership. Everything is 100% above board, no surprises, no tricks. In my case. I was purchasing a brand new model, one of the first ones made. In fact, the salesman later confirmed that I owned just the 2nd car of this type in Pittsburgh. Due to the demand, I was told that they could offer me a $500 "courtesy discount" but that was it. However, they offered me a $2,000 trade in allowance on a car that, in all honesty, was worth just $1,000. I am very pleased with the pricing and customer service offered by this dealership, and would be happy to recommend them to friends.

He went above and beyond the call of duty to find me the car I was looking for. Now for service; I would never recommend you take a vehicle in for service work. I took my vehicle in with the complaint that the ac wasn't blowing very cold and wanted to see if it needed a recharge. I got a call from them that my car was ready for pickup, they found nothing wrong, no leaks and only slightly below refrigerant level. They never called for approval, but dumped all of my refrigerant and refilled it. After they completed this work there was no difference in the ac temperature. A few days later I noticed that my fan kept kicking on and off over and over again. This is a sign of over filling the refrigerant which was just done. I couldn't get it back in for almost a month and was hesitant to let them do any additional work to my vehicle. Well the fan and relay blew and my vehicle overheated. I took it back to them and they replaced the fan and relay under warranty. They never called to tell me my vehicle was ready so I called and they advised me that it was done. So no call for approval for repairs, no call that it was done and they charged me almost $700 for nothing. Then I was talking to my cousin who took her vehicle there, they recommend a full exhaust replacement so she took it to Monroe who advised her nothing was wrong. Don't make the same mistake I have, find another service station. Anywhere but Lyles Auto!!!

Ok, so let's revisit my aversion to auto-related businesses. I have, over the years, been subjected…read moreto everything from condescension to outright lies when it comes to having repairs done on various cars. One dealer repair center- which was (ironically) run by a woman, continued to perform repair after unneeded repair, completely ignoring what I kept telling them was wrong with the car until finally the ex-hubs purchased the part I said it needed, slapped it on their counter and said "put this on the d*mn car." Just recently I was assured by the manager of Midas, while paying for my oil change, that my battery was surely going to conk out any second now and I'd be stranded somewhere, helpless. *eye roll* A bald-faced lie. I had it checked. (another review, another time.) So, when the engine light on my Honda came on, and stayed on, conveniently just before inspection time, I had it scanned at several local garages and was told it was the catalytic converter. Now, I saw the scans, and I know they showed that this was probably the problem. I was quoted anywhere from $700 to $1500 or more for the repair. In desperation, I called the place my brother, his fiance and my mom have been taking their cars for the past few years: Steve's Auto Center. It's out in Monongahela, so a pretty good hike from home, but they've been very happy so I thought it might be worth a call. When I explained the situation, Steve told me he'd check it, but he had *never* seen a catalytic converter that was actually bad; he said usually it was an oxygen sensor. But- bring it out and he'd take a look. Hopeful, I drove out to leave my car for him to work on the next day. It's a home-based business, so a little easy to miss without a gps, but there's a drop box for keys and payment, so your car is locked and secure until he gets to it. He called me the next day and carefully explained how he had tested the converter AND both oxygen sensors, and determined that it was in fact one of the sensors that had gone bad. He replaced it, test drove it for a while to make sure the light didn't come back on, and then put it through the PA emissions testing and it passed. Problem solved for a FRACTION of what I was afraid it was going to cost. Now, I don't think the other mechanics were trying to rip me off. (THIS time.) But what impressed me was that UNLIKE the others, Steve didn't immediately go for the obvious, expensive repair. He was willing to spend some time to thoroughly examine the problem and make the correct repair. If I had paid someone $1000 to replace the catalytic converter, that sensor would still be bad and I'd *still* have had to replace that as well! So, despite my husband grousing about driving "all the way out there," it was well worth the trip. I am a convert- a loyal, dedicated customer.

A family member strongly suggested talking to Josh at the Ohio Valley Dealership after deciding to purchase a Honda CR-V at the suggestion of my mechanic. The dealership's online inventory helped in the decision and changed my mind about which model when that "Certified" word appeared on the smaller 2020 HR-V Sport. By chance the next day my neighbor took me for a ride in her Honda and I immediately put $ down to reserve that certified car. No regrets weeks later - it looked showroom new according to our son on the day to drive it home. Josh was wonderful in providing a book manual, and details about the car, including Carvana's report, and Ohio Valley Honda's warranty.

We were on Vacation in Ohio... decided to look for a used Crv that morning before leaving our…read morecabin.. found a low mileage 06' at Ohio Valley, called, they saved the car for us to look at for the next couple hrs... got a fantastic deal here!... we had a blank check with us and had to use a credit card also to cover the total cost ... very helpful, car was cleaned like new.. we didn't put it on the road till a few months later.. been driving it every day since Jan... couldn't be happier with this purchase.. they called us last week -out of the blue just to ask how the car was, if we had any concerns, wasn't expecting that.. seems an Honest car dealership.. Great experience here !
