If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I called FXitRight today about repairing my iPhone XS that has a shattered screen. I spoke to the gentleman on the phone number listed on Yelp (805) 710-5455 )and he informed he could fix my phone but that he was out on a mobile repair and could meet me at 11:15AM at his store. I told him we could meet at 11:30AM so that there was no rush. I arrived there at 11:30 and waited outside the locked door. I could see someone was inside so I called the number again listed on Yelp. No answer. I waited a couple more minutes and called twice. No answer or phone call back. After waiting outside for awhile I decided what horrible service already and I haven't even gave them my phone yet to fix. No thanks! I immediately got on Yelp and found creative cell and they were able to help me immediately with excellent service. ( They're about 5 min away from FXitRight) I work and today is my day off so my time is very valuable. I recommend to all of you that if you value service and your time, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Although the owner responded below, what a shame they can't even apologize for what happened. A simple phone call to let the customer know that they were exposed if that was true then it would have been totally understood. FXitRite has been repairing my family and friends screens for over 2 years now. They do a clean honest job. Ever since receiving my free tempered glass on my last visit I have yet to crack my phone despite dropping it quite a few times. What Upset me in the past with other repair shops is upon completing the repair the manufacturers warranty would be voided because of aftermarket refurbished parts. I spoke to soon. Screen broke. He told me it's out of warranty which it was not ( I showed him the receipt) and he said o sorry I recently changed the policy. Then he replaced the screen with the knock off of the olas. (Paid for the olas) Long story short that screen started malfunctioning also.. he's products are after market cheaply made and that's why he changed his warranty from 6 months to 3 because he knows it won't last past 3 months. In less than 2 months of the repair, my screen was popping out of the base, which I attributed to a swelling battery (read this happens when an authentic Apple battery is replaced with a fake). Attempted to contact FXitright to resolve the issue but was met with a defensive, unprofessional employee who TEXTED replies after my phone calls that were screened and sent to vm. This employee tried to feed me this allegorical narrative about an oil change/car battery in comparison to my phone screen and battery. Please steer clear of this place and fix elsewhere! I had my phone fixed here 3 times and I'm sad To say I'm extremely disappointed first time my phone dropped and screen went completely black for no reason I took it in and he said he will take care of it. I come to pick up my phone 3 hours later and he goes well you dropped your phone so it's more them likely your fault. I've had phoned fall I never experience a black screen over it whatever I paid. I broke my iphone's LCD yesterday and had to get it replaced ASAP and there was only one place I go to to get my phone replaced that has great service but sadly it's in LA and I wasn't boutta drive that far lol. So I looked on yelp and found FXItRight and decided to give them a chance based on their yelp reviews. I took a risk with them because it's hard for me to trust a lot of small businesses in Oxnard based on repetitive bad experience but THIS BUSINESS IS A HIDDEN GEM!! They're exactly like the shop I go to in LA but better if you ask me. Their customer service is what allowed me to feel like I can trust them because they are so real and honest, you get this vibe that they really care about your business. Their prices are very reasonable if not better than the other places here in Oxnard (trust me I checked and compared prices); I got my iPhone 6 LCD fixed for $75+tax. (And plus tip because they really deserved it) Now they did ask for my passcode but that's only to test if the phone is working in its original state before it broke. If you feel uncomfortable giving out your passcode, I'd suggest staying at the shop until your phone is fixed and test it out with them, I'm sure they'll work with you. I'd like to mention that I've read the negative reviews prior to giving them my business and took it into consideration. So my iPhone wasn't charging properly. My cellphone insurance refused to fix the charging issue and they could only replace the cellphone for a $200 deductible. Ouch, no Thank you. I took the cellphone to FXitRight and let me tell you that I am beyond impressed with the service. I dropped off the iPhone, he did a test call and said it would be ready in a couple hours. I got a prompt call letting me know the cellphone was ready. He could of charge us full price and say he replaced the charging port and i wouldn't of known.
