We went for a walk, and I unthinkingly locked the door handle but didn't take my keys (again, because the deadbolt had a code now). So I was an idiot. We returned from the walk, realized we were locked out, and I called Tampa Bay Lock and Key because they're in my neighborhood. The owner was polite and courteous, told me he would be by in 15-20 minutes because he was a little ways away, and he arrived exactly in that time window. He was quick and efficient in unlocking the door for us, and the cost was reasonable ($85). Obviously, I hope I don't lock myself out again, but if I did, this would be my first call.

The interior of both doors jams was severely scratched by the female locksmith. She obviously didn't know what she was doing. Upon seeing the damage I took photos, asked her to take photos and stated that I would file a claim. I got an estimate from Caliber Collision and provided Courtesy Lock and Key a copy. After two weeks I was offered nothing but a $60 refund. The lady that did the damage refused acknowledgement of doing it, although I still have her text messages proving so. Looks like legal action is the only recourse. If these folks come to unlock your car, do not allow them to touch it. The lady in question even said my truck was not worth fixing, in text! He met me at the restaurant where we were having lunch. He was there within 15-20 minutes as he promised. He was very friendly and nice personality. He immediately went to work programming my 2 fobs.
