Had an issue with my garage door yesterday and called when I got home after 5 pm. Got a response in minutes. They worked with my scheduled and seen something up for today. Arrived exactly when promised. When is the last time you have heard of a service company being exactly on time? They had the garage door fixed quickly and efficiently. Here is the thing, you never, ever know what you are going to get when you call out for a repair. When something goes wrong, you want a company you can trust. This is the second time, first was for a property investment client, I have used Master Garage Door. Both times they were on-time, did a great job, and genuinely nice. Oh, by the way, the price was very reasonable. I pay more for better service. With Master Garage Door you get the best service and quality at a good price. Can't do better than that. Highly recommend. read more

Master Garage Door - Garage Door Services Near Me

This is one of those special companies that you feel like you struck gold finding. The owner has a great attitude and you get a genuine sense that he's passionate, experienced and trustworthy. I ordered the most insulated door possible to block out heat in the garage. Everything I had was super old and needed replacing. I went with top of the line everything. In a matter of hours him and his team took everything down and replaced the door, frame rails, motor, sensors, outdoor control unit, weather-strips, spring etc. The new system is super quiet, door closes without gaps and overall just works as expected. read more

I read all the great reviews, and am always one to go with a local family service. I took a chance and requested a quote through this site. Under a few hours had a quote. They could come out the same day, but I had to schedule the next morning. The owner, Steve called first thing in the morning to let me know the tech was on the way. Joshua showed up right on time, and a hour or so later I am enjoying my new garage door opener. I am really impressed with the service and will be putting there information on my HOA site for my fellow neighbors to use. Thank you Master Garage Door read more

Steve came out for an estimate right away. A few days later I called with some follow up questions and he promptly got back to me, took his time and answered all my question. They were never pushy like other big companies. Install appointment was quickly scheduled once I was ready and they came out 2 days after I called. Steve and his guys were actually early for the appointment, very professional and friendly. Work was performed within a couple of hours, they did a GREAT job cleaning up and even came back about an hour later because of one very small issue. I would recommend them 100%!!! Thanks guys! read more

Steve showed up on time after we received a courtesy call to let us know he was on his way. Immediately discussed what was wrong and gave me the cost. He then did an extremely thorough inspection of our entire garage door operation and found another issue which he notified me of immediately and asked if I would like that to be fixed as well. After performing his work in a very reasonable amount of time, we went over what he had done, best maintenance practices, and total cost. He also let me know that there was a warranty on the parts he used to replace our broken springs. He was very professional, polite, and willing to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend using their services to anyone in need of garage door repair. Drew read more

Please note that this is not a review of the quality of work done by any technicians from Master Garage Door, nor is it a review the promptness with which they keep appointments. I did not have any services done by them; through I tried to make an appointment. They are busy and that may reflect very positively on the quality of their work. This IS a review of their initial customer contact process and their apparent interest in helping. I did try to make an appointment. My garage door slipped several rollers off the track, and the cable that helps lift the door came off the drum. The door now cannot be closed completely. I had this happen years ago, and because the door wouldn't close completely, wildlife got into my garage, ate through the drywall in the ceiling, and tried to make a home in my attic. So as one might infer, I am anxious to get my garage door repaired soon. I'd rather not deal with a similar situation. According to the Yelp review, Master Garage Door provides its services mostly in the Brandon area. However, the reviews were all very positive so I called to see if they also serviced the south Tampa area. I live near MacDill AFB and only a few blocks from Hillsborough Bay, so there is relatively easy access to my house. When I called Master Garage Door, the receptionist who answered the phone was not very helpful and did not seem all that interested in helping me resolve my problem. She said they didn't often work in the south Tampa area, and due to other appointments, they could not possibly respond until the end of the week, and likely not until sometime next week. While I said I understood completely, I explained what was driving my problem, and why I was feeling some urgency in getting the work done sooner than that. She said she was sorry, but could not help me. When I asked for some recommendations / names of other companies who might be able to respond more quickly, she recoiled like I had asked for lessons on how to rob banks and steal money from children. She said. "Oh, no, I can't possibly give you any names of other companies. No, I can't do that." I explained that I am retired military, and that I now own a small safety and security consulting company. Service to the public is what we do. If for some reason, I cannot meet the needs of a potential customer, due to a scheduling conflict, or perhaps because what the customer needs is not part of the services we supply, I will absolutely give them names of other companies or people I think might be able to help them. I know many of the other companies we compete against, and I know which ones provide quality work, and which ones do not meet the standards we strive to live up to. Anyway, none of that seemed to matter and she was still unwilling to help. That seems so strange to me. If I help someone, even if it is only to provide the information that eventually leads to them finding someone else to resolve their problem, then I have done a good thing. I haven't lost business to someone else. I have helped them find new business. Perhaps in a different situation, my competitors will do the same thing and recommend my company. In summary, if you need garage door services, Master Garage Door may be a good option, especially if you live in the Brandon area. But I wish you luck if you happen to initially contact the woman I spoke to. read more

Fast service! Free estimate and the door is level now and the cable that was frayed on one side was replaced along with the other side too! Now the door is quiet and gap free. Josh was excellent! Thanks so much for your service! read more

These guys were great. Fast, professional and relatively inexpensive and painless. Garage door wouldn't go up. Called around to them and some competitors. Saw their ratings and spoke to the owner. Had them come out the same day. They came out, were polite and personable, showed me the plastic wheels had powdered, replaced them, cleaned up the issue and left. $150. Hard to beat it and gentlemen to boot. Well worth it. read more

Went to go to work at 7:30 am. Pressed the button to open the garage to drive to work and heard a big pop and the garage door would not open. There was a roller piece on the driveway that came off and a cable was hanging down. Called last company to work on door and they told me they were to busy to come today. Looked up garage repairs on Yelp and found the great feedback on Master Garage. Called and they got a repairman out within the hour. Steve and Luke showed up quickly, fixed the springs ad found some other minor issues and fixed those as well. Within an hour, everything was fixed and at a very reasonable price. Fantastic Custer Service and a pleasant experience. read more

I wrote a message to the company and got a response within one hour which was fantastic. I then called in to set up an appointment (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL) and Stephen was able to come out the very next day. Stephen was absolutely professional and although he could have fixed my garage door- opted to have me use the manufacture of the door company in order to save me money. Although this may not apply to most people, it truly shows the great character of Stephen and his company. I strongly recommend this company for all your garage door needs. +FREE ESTIMATES!! :) read more

My garage door was messed up, so I called in another company for an estimate. They pointed to certain things and told me it was going to cost about $520 to repair. I then checked the yelp reviews, saw the positive review of Master Garage Co. by Jodi, and called them. Guess what? The gentleman pointed to some of the same things, but said they were ok. Then he told me the real problem. All in all, I ended up paying about half of what the other guy quoted me. Thanks so much for being honest people! Word gets around. I hope you guys have much success :) read more

I was working in my office last evening when I heard a large boom from the garage. I tried to open the garage door but to no avail, and noticed the garage door spring was broken. Thus I couldn't get my cars out today with a late morning and early afternoon appointments. I called at 7:30 AM this morning and reached Connie explaining my immediate dilemma. She said she would get back to me, & called back within five minutes indicating Steve would arrive before 10 AM to do my repair. She called again to say he was just minutes away and he arrived at 8:35 AM. He replaced my springs and recommended other necessary repairs, and even secured and replaced a defective part under warranty in my garage door opener. Very professional, customer driven, and a job well done! read more

Awesome people. Great company! Steve (I guess that's his name! I had to look on their facebook page to check) and the other guy with him were really professional. He explained everything to us. Told us everything we need to know. He went far beyond fixing our garage door. I asked if he could help me fix a little problem with my car since my husband is not home and he gladly helped me with that. That just show how much they care about earning your business. I called around 8 am and they arrived at our house around 10 am. I am a really satisfied customer and I can't recommend them enough. read more

Wow - two great experiences with Master Garage Door Co within a week #1 - Garage door spring on a rental property failed the day before Thanksgiving and I am headed to the airport. I gave them a call and they quickly reached out to the tenant and found a workable time for both parties. They were then able to provide me with an overview of the issue and a fair quote over the phone within minutes of arriving to the house. Payment was handled and the work was done right as I boarded my plane. #2 - Tenant called this AM and said the garage door was now going up and down by itself. I called Master Garage Door Co expecting the worst. They again found a workable time with the tenant and dispatched a truck. The service guy just called and said the button on the remote appears to be stuck and it's causing the garage to go up and down (so completely unrelated to last issue). He then mentions that he swapped out the remote for no charge and there was no charge for the call. I am very impressed and will use Master Garage Door Co for all of my properties. read more

In 20 minutes, Master Garage transformed my garage door from an unreliable, bucking, screeching monster to a quiet little lamb that comes when I call it. Swapped out the old rollers, adjusted the chain, lubed the main coil springs, and added a big reinforcing bracket to the door's main arm hinge. $150. Did the work after 5pm for my convenience. Highly recommend. read more

Steve came out to look at several issues with our garage door and initially assess the problems. Steve didn't try to sell us extra services we didn't need. He even offered to have two different detailed email quotes sent to us so we could decide after we read the quotes. I got a call back from the office to schedule my appointment and they came out the next day...when it suited us. They were efficient and worked quickly to repair our garage door issues AND perform routine maintenance. Steve and his crew were very respectful and solved our issues immediately! I would HIGHLY recommend Master Garage Door. Thanks so much!! read more

I booked my appointment last week for today. I changed my work schedule as they were to be out from 3pm to 5pm. I raced home to be there at 3. At 3:23 I get a call. At first they said they were running behind then said running so far behind would not be out to my house at all. Said something about one of their vehicles. Did not offer another day or any alternative. I know it seems like no big deal but I was looking forward to getting my door fixed. Now I have to go into work tomorrow, look at my worl schedule and find another company to call! read more
