They're now another business name without any way of reviewing them but this place is hands down the Most expensive and WORST product available. The owner is a total piece of garbage! So this place is quite interesting... At present, it is the site of grow operations and a tiny discrete dispensary. It's sister storefront, AK Green Light is a stones throw away around the corner on Northern Lights. AK Green Light, which is not yet open as of Feb 2017, will eventually be the main retail locations. But due to all the hoops cannabis operators have to go through, Ak Green Light is still tied up in red tape and not yet open to the public. In the interim, Fuzzy Budz is their sole retail outlet. The location is a non-descript converted home on teeny Eagle Street. At the time of my writing, the street is so packed with walls of snow that the store is barely visible from the street that's only 8 feet away. In winter, street parking is absolutely out of the question. There's about 8 parking spots in their lot, one of which is designated for handicapped customers with easy access to a ramp. The retail shop at the front of the building is little more than a foyer in which you place your order through a window. Even though i wasn't there to make a purchase, the staff was happy to answer my questions. As a gardener, I was interested to note this is the only place in Anchorage that seems to have C. Sativa in stock. Most shops in town are only selling C. Indica and hybrids- everyone I've asked has indicated that's what growers in Alaska are growing. They've all said there's very little available as soon as they get it in stock it sells out. This makes me wonder if the Fuzzy Budz folks are the only ones growing the Sativa species... (As a dorky gardner, I find this whole cannabis thing pretty interesting even though I don't smoke.) Anyway, what they told me is the indica is what causes you to get "couch lock" and the munchies and sativa makes you happy/high and in some cases, paranoid. The hybrids, of which there are apparently thousands, will produce combinations of effects. The prices listed seemed consistent with every other place in town. I would think that since they are cutting out the middle man and growing their own, we might expect to eventually see their prices be more competitive that the other retail shops in town. I think it's a good shop. As of today Sunday April 23, 2017 it has the best selection and quality. Why is everyone's stuff so dry? I know some people like it that way. I prefer my indica sticky and able to sustain the fire of lighting without burning up in five seconds. I'm sure it makes people buy more because it burns so quickly. I'm committed to trying some from every dispensary as they open. I know we're In our infancy here so maybe the kinks will be worked out. I love the whole Geeen Light District idea. read more

I was wondering how that gummy bear strain a over 31%thc cause that's award whining calibur if that test is accurate. I'm nervous bout testing here cause Colorado and others have the testing for medical also and anything in 30's is super good. Are dispensaries allowed to add the thc and thca number together to get those numbers in 30's or just a killer strain? I love the white lemon seems much stronger than gummy but what do I know. This is my go to shop. The owner, which I met two weeks ago, is very informative and helpful. Very impressed. His daughter who works the counter a lot, is always happy, cheerful and very knowledgeable. I love that they will give you an ACCURATE estimation when a certain strain will be available! I went in the morning they estimated, it was being packaged, and they told me the exact time it would be ready for purchase. In fact, they held the quantity I wanted and called me to let me know when it was ready for pick up! That's what I call excellent customer service. I've read where people complain the waiting area is to small; I don't see this as a problem, it gives you time to ready about all the strains they have and the effect. I'm a regular and I've never felt rushed or uncomfortable, quite the opposite. I've checked out a few stores and this one just can't be beat. Great variety and yes some of the strains sell out fast but, they will tell you what else is close to what you came for and when your favorite will be back on the shelf. LOVE this store. I've never had a bad experience with any employee here. Once you come here you most likely will not think to go anywhere else. read more
