The Roots Raspberry - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

My visit was very quick as I ordered online but very good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Value was good for what I ordered. Would absolutely go back the next time I'm in town. read more

When I'm visiting Anchorage I like to try out new places, and The Roots Raspberry happened to be one of my random picks. The service was good and quick, I have no complaints. I got a good deal on vape carts, I only wish there was more of a selection to choose from which is why I took one star away. Overall not bad. read more

Nice location, very clean, helpful staff, great products. I recommend this place for a good experience and your weed needs.

Fantastic woman owned dispensary. Raspberry Roots is a great choice if you're seeking quality flower. Once inside, their showroom is large, clean and organized. Customer service is always top tier. Raspberry Roots has a great loyalty rewards program. Occasionally, like my most recent visit, they have surprising sales that even our regularly visited dispensary can't compete with. 30% off all flower. Hard to beat. Give them a try if you're in the area. read more

The Blue Dream was more like Bluecheese, it was so moldy. Bud tender didn't recognize the white mold on the bud.

I'm visiting here from California and wanted to make sure I got a great experience at my first pot shop in Alaska -- and Raspberry Roots did not disappoint!! Tyson took great care of me. I let him know immediately what I liked and what I didn't like and he threw some awesome recommendations at me. We had a great talk about different strains and I didn't feel like I was being pressured at all to buy something I wouldn't like. Came away with NINE pre-rolls, a shirt, and a RR logo lighter! Thank you so much, Tyson! read more

This is now my sweetheart's favorite place to go for flower. He really loves their loyalty program. After an accumulation of 3,000 points you can get a 1/2 oz of flower for a dollar. The store is very attractive and I appreciate they have a comfortable waiting area. They also have a better parking lot than most other cannabis purveyors in town. This is also a much needed addition to this side of town, since most stores are in midtown or downtown. read more

Every Wednesday, raspberry roots has flower on sale, 30% off. However, on PFD day, when every other dispensary was having pfd day sales, they actually RAISED their prices. When I asked why, they said they raised prices specifically because of the PFD, which to me is blatantly taking advantage of their customers, unprofessional salesmenship and just bad customer service. Bad move Raspberry Roots, learn to value your customers more, put them first, and drop the shady business practices. read more

They do not give a senior citizen discount. Canna Go Happy does and they have better smoke! Raspberry Roots has too much low grade marijuana, and not enough higher grade. read more

Terrible quality, passionless service, keep your money in state and do not shop at this dispensary. The owners do not even live in Alaska. They do not have a very good in-house selection because they grow some of the worst bud you've ever seen, the head grower has never smoked weed, perpetuating passionless product. Better off getting bud somewhere else. Their Extract game is pretty good, but it's just another AZ medical brand like AK Frost. The point system is cool though. Would not return even if there was a coffee shop. read more

The real "Matt S." So I worked at Raspberry Roots for 7 months, had a great time and made some homies. The bosses treated me great and paid well for my experience in commercial carpentry and knowledge of cannabis. Great strains are what Raspberry Roots provide for the community. I learned useful information from the head grower during my time at RR. The bosses worked with my daily schedule, threw awesome party's, and listened to me when I needed to vent. Although some employees aren't "from the state", that doesn't mean they aren't here looking to bring positivity and new business to AK. Keep on keeping on, RaspberryRoots. read more

Sweet spot! Loved it. Chrome Tops on point and very knowledgeable. There are now in my regular mix of shops and will be returning soon. Thanks guys read more

Most shops I've been to I just feel iffy about it after, like they just want my money and want me to leave as quickly as possible, other places I've been to they don't seem very knowledgeable and even seemed annoyed if I ask any questions. That's not the case here! The staff is all super sweet and friendly, if I could I would love to sit and chat with them but they're always so busy I try to keep my visit short. They make sure to answer your questions, make recommendations, and offer up their own personal experiences and opinions, as well as mentioning customers feedback, to help make sure you get what's best for you. They seem very honest and so far haven't been afraid to say if something is bad or would be a poor choice for me, they almost make it feel like you're shopping with a friend. read more

What a great experience. They were so caring and patient about my needs and questions. Best experience I have ever had in a Dispensary. Keep it up guys! read more

Do not trust these guys. I spent well over a thousand dollars with them over the course of 2 months, never once buying anything other than bud to be smoked. So what do these guys do to show they appreciate a loyal customer? Oh well they sell me $70 of trimmings that are to be used at best for edibles all while claiming it is shake. I call and speak with them and after 3 employees it is blatantly obvious they are selling trimmings as shake aka false advertising. I mean I am in awe of how stupid they think their client base is. Forever lost my business. No way would I ever give these guys another dollar of mine. You lie to clients, you lose their business. Thats the way it goes. You guys are in a competitive industry, treat it as such and quit scamming your loyal customers. I hope Raspberry Roots gets some morals, would hate to see others dealing the shitty feeling of being scammed as I have. Sincerely, a seriously disappointed and scammed ex-customer. I forgot to add, what was even funnier was speaking with the receptionist. She was like, "That's our employees favorite thing to smoke because of the price", only to admit later it is to be used for baking aka edibles. Smfh. Truly messed up situation. Thanks Raspberry Roots for showing you true colors before I give you more money. Update: I am so pissed looking at this bunk I flushed it down the toilet followed by throwing away my Raspberry Roots t-shirt that I got for being a loyal customer. LOL. read more
