I got a free cut thankfully from a drawing at the farmers market but it was the worst haircut Charlie has ever had except the one I gave him.. I told them not to cut his ears or tail and they not only made it way to short they hacked it up.. then there were places on him that was shaved almost down to the skin.. I'll be waiting now for it to grow back out so I can get my usual groomer to make him look handsome again.. read more

We took our pup for a grooming. I wish we would have trusted our gut and turned around and left. This place was not welcoming, and there were dogs all over the place. Hair everywhere. It want welcoming at all and was actually very dirty. People sitting at the desk on their phones that couldn't care less if you were there or not. We let them groom our Sophie and when we picked her up she kept snapping at us. Never acted that way!!! We couldn't touch her back. She is a poodle and had bumps on her skin that we have removed. They cut hard over them and they had dried blood! Also. She would not come to us or jump on the couch the way she always did. She hid in the bedroom. We had to take her to our vet because she wouldn't eat. She was on medication after that and our vet feels it was a good possibility that she fell or was hurt during the groom. The groomer in Rogers on Dixieland had tables all over. Even in the front t window. The one dog in front was yelping because he fell. It was disgusting. The smell was awful. We will never take her back to this place. If you are looking for someone to take great care of your pet while grooming and keep them safe, look elsewhere. This is not the place for any pet! It has taken a month, but we are finally getting our Pup to trust us again. Horrible place! read more

Fuzzy Bones does not have a website to verify services or pricing, so when I called them, I asked the rates. I was not sure of my dog's exact weight, but thought she was about 95 pounds, so that's what I told them. She told me it would be $90, maybe $95 and could be higher if they had to de-shed. The total came to $142.34! When I asked how that could be, the girl said, "Well, she weighs more than you said she did." So I asked what they'd weighed her as, and she replied, "99#". I said, "So, 4 pounds extra caused the total to be 50% higher than I was quoted?" They might have made me a return customer by calling me when they weighed her in at 99 pounds. I live on a fixed income, so Grooming services are already a big expense. I should have had the option to let them continue or return and pick her up. She was groomed well, and I throw my roses as hard as my rocks, but let my experience teach you to get the rate in writing before you leave your pet with Fuzzy Bones! read more

I have gone to Fuzzy Bones for years and never had a bad experience until this last Saturday. I took both my dogs a golden (female) and Australian Shepard (male)in for bath and trim clean up because they have so many wispy hairs. They shaved half of the tummy and down. My golden has been miserable around her girl part since. Took her to the vet today and She now has an infection around her girl part. My male Australian Shepard was shaved all over his parts. I Specified I only wanted them to have a trim. Very disappointed with the groomer that did this to my dogs. Update on how Fuzzy bones responded to me as I had requested a refund for my Golden. (After paying them for a total of three dogs.) This is after the vet had sent me the Diagnose and treatment in writing stating she did have hot spot where she was "shaved" the Vulva then became swollen, red and now infection (as my golden was irritated and miserable by licking her lady part) and then as follow showed what treatment they did. I had sent this document of the doctors report to Fuzzy Bones and this is how Fuzzy Bones (April) responded to me: I also spoke with the vet after this message was sent to me and he stated he did not speak with anyone from Fuzzy Bones. Hello this is April at fuzzy bones I wanted to get back with you about Sadie. We were able to speak with the vet today it was explained that the vulva was infected and treated with a steroid shot. There was no treatment of a rash. In all my many years of grooming I have never seen or heard of an infection in the vulva being caused from a sanitary trim. Sadie's groom was well a performed groom and she left our shop in a healthy & happy condition. I do not feel that it would be a fair option to refund the amount of the groom or pay vet fees. Fuzzy Bones is a high-volume groomery that can usually get us in relatively quickly. The groomers are friendly and they do a great job. Having been a groomer for a short time, I realize that not all dogs have a great coat to work with (my little one does not) and sticky-outies are unavoidable. Many groomeries employ groomers-in-training--they do "the basics" until they're able to provide a full-groom. Often, a more seasoned groomer finishes the dog and makes sure the groom looks good. It is a shame that Fuzzy Bones only has two Yelp reviews and they're both bad ones. I have never been disappointed by them and will keep going there. read more

They charged my Golden Retriever $230 for trim/bath and nails. That is $100 more than anywhere else .. I know other places can be more expensive but that is unreal. read more

I highly enjoy being able to return time after time and have my groomer remember my fur baby. Stephanie is always on point with new tricks and techniques. The Mohawk she gave my son was awesome. He can be hard to handle but she is always gentle and understanding to his stressors. Can't ask for better service. read more
