Our Maltipoo is 4 and has been groomed by 3 different groomer in Arkansas and Colorado - never had an issue Most places we have taken him take between 2-4 hours to groom - sadly our groomer here has cancer and can't groom anymore. I feel so bad for my dog to get that stressed Now I will need to look for another place to take him - after he's been so stressed out and not even groomed. We have had dogs for 30 years - never had someone call to say they kept our dog for over 5 hours then didn't even groom them.

They also said he acted up and charged me $15.00 extra for bad behavior. He's a small dog and has never been a problem to bathe before. We will not be going back and I am very disappointed but they did have my phone number because I left messages. Keeping my dog in a cage for hours was cruel and I would never recommend them.

Thanks to angel sitters, my little girl had a mid-day visit and bathroom break, and she was able to stay in the peaceful setting of her home rather than cowering in the corner at a boarding or day care facility. (I'm writing in pass tense because this was a couple of years ago and my girl has since gone on to rainbow bridge.) These pet sitters are truly angels. The ones I meet in person we're so thoughtful and caring. They make the process very easy and take good care of fur babies.

They were prescribed medications, including antibiotics, but unfortunately, my dogs did not get any better. What concerns and frustrates me the most is what happened afterward. I called the clinic 3-4 times asking to speak with Dr. Meyers because my dogs were still not improving and I was worried about their condition. Despite repeatedly reaching out, I never received a single return phone call from the doctor. As a pet owner, when your animals are sick and not responding to treatment, it is incredibly stressful and frightening. My dogs are my babies, and I trusted this clinic with their health. At the very least, I expected someone to follow up with me, listen to my concerns, and advise me on what I should do next. Unfortunately, this is also not the first time I have taken my dogs to this clinic and felt that their issues were never completely resolved. Veterinary care is expensive, and families work hard for the money they spend caring for their animals. It is extremely frustrating to pay for appointments and medications and then feel like you are left on your own when the treatment isn't working. I understand that veterinary clinics are busy, but multiple calls regarding animals who are not improving should not go unanswered. Communication and follow-up are an important part of caring for an animal, especially when a concerned owner is repeatedly asking for help. At this point, I am seriously questioning whether I will ever return to St. Francis. More importantly, I am still extremely concerned about my dogs and disappointed that after repeatedly asking for help, I never heard back from Dr. Meyers.
