But I've been feeling increasingly upset every time I see my hair, so I felt it was important to share my experience. I came in with a few reference photos, but unfortunately, the final result looked nothing like what I asked for. The instructor did most of the haircut, but it felt more like she was playing around in my hair and trying to appear knowledgeable in front of the student, rather than focusing on what I actually wanted. One side of my bangs was blunt cut, while the other was only partially blended, which is really frustrating. I have wavy/curly hair, and both the instructor and student were pulling very hard with a comb I could actually feel strands being ripped out. I'm a pretty shy person, especially when I'm by myself, so I didn't speak up in the moment and I regret that. I rarely get my hair cut, this was my first in about a year. I had just finished growing it out after buzzing it, so it was a really emotional experience for me. Everyone was kind, and I don't want to be overly harsh, but the experience left me genuinely disappointed and upset.

The quality that was presented online was not a legitimate looking certificate. I made a phone call and was told it would be acceptable. The lady was pleasant and cooperative. Well I am very cautious and OCD about documents. I sent an email explaining what I really expected and needed in reference to a certificate showing I completed a class. I got an immediate response and a perfect copy of the certificate needed to send to TDLR. I am a very satisfied customer and grateful for the convenience of the online certs provide. Even after voicing my concerns with the owners daughter about the gym manager and having to deal with her I was told I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore. We were promised free bags months ago for a huge order mix up and our girls were suppose to receive them back in May and have yet to receive them. I have messaged their gym manager (whom I was told I wouldn't have to deal with anymore) over 10 times and have been ignored all times. I have came to the conclusion that these free bags we were suppose to receive we will not get. Im not sure if this is because we left or what but this is very unprofessional to promise kids something then not hold up to their end. Also forgot to mention the part where the owner messaged me a few times regarding payments that she didn't receive even though I gave the money to her manager. When paying a lot the last thing you want to do is to constantly have to worry about if your money is going into the correct hands. I have so much more but going to leave it at this.

This class completely exceeded my expectations…read more I took the class alone. My significant other got his CHL from another instructor earlier this year, so I was on my own. I couldn't find anything to fit into my hectic schedule, so I simply picked a class that fit into my schedule that weekend. I was really nervous when I showed up. I REALLY lucked out. Stephen was great. I was dreading an all day class of stuffy and boring material. I wasn't bored and was engaged the whole entire time. I learned a great deal and the class was excellent. Highly recommended. His teaching methods really got the material to stick in my head (which is hard for me usually). I also enjoyed side conversations about the subject matter during the breaks. He also really got me thinking about things i've never thought about before. I have a great deal of homework, planning, and further education I need to work on! I will be back to take other classes for sure! I am so glad that I took my CHL class with them and not another instructor.
