A hidden gem in Saskatoon - consistently fantastic sushi, polite staff, speedy and personalized service, and a family run business in the heart of downtown. Great for to-go or eat in - and the best Bubble Tea in Saskatoon. It's a place that can be easily overlooked, but it definitely shouldn't be. read more

Amazing service! I have been here many times. Would recommend to anyone. The service is friendly.

The Salmon Poke bowl was pretty good! Not the best I've ever tasted but still delicious. The bowl is a bit smaller here then at other establishments. But I love that I was able to add avocados to it. My boyfriend loved his Tuna Salmon Sushi set. The waitress also gave us a complimentary small Miso soup. It was yummy! The ingredients of our meals were fresh. Everything was made and served very quickly and the waitress was very nice. read more

Here's an alert for Saskatoon foodies, and for visitors to the city. The folks at Fuzion have re-invented their offerings and are now rolling out some of the best sushi, sashimi and Don in the city. While the decor of this downtown mainstay hasn't changed, the food certainly has. Outstanding nigiri (the Hamachi, Toro and Unagi are worthy of special mention) and sashimi specials like Bluefin Tuna and Norwegian Salmon (when they can source the fresh fish) are to die for. And their various Don are delicious as well. If you haven't been to Fuzion for a while drop in and re-introduce yourself; you won't be sorry. read more

Great Sushi. The fish is so fresh, the rice is so good. Poke Bowls are especially delicious. Try the bubble tea. So happy the restaurant is continuing after the original owners retired. The high quality of service and authentic Japanese food continue. Great ambiance. read more

This is my absolute favourite hidden gem inSaskatoon. We love Rebecca she is so warm and friendly and always remembers not only our orders but our lives. She is wonderful. read more

The food is alright, but it's quite unprofessional of them to shut the restaurant down early. Today, my father drove there to pick me up a plate to eat while I'm ill. He arrived a good 15 minutes before closing time, but was told to go home as they had wrapped up for the night. If you advertise that you are open until 8:00 PM and your OPEN sign is on/up, that means the whole business operation is open to full services until the posted closing time of 8:00 PM, unless otherwise specified or the CLOSED sign is currently on/up. If you plan to close the restaurant early each night, then be honest with your customers and change your closing hours to an earlier time. read more

I needed a Bubble Tea. This seems to be one of the only places in town that has a good variety. Lately, I have been stuck on two flavours--Coconut Milk Tea or Mango Green Tea. I like the Mango for cool refreshment, so I ordered a large. My decision was aided by the lack of coconut. Unlike my usual favourites, Chatime and Go For Tea, finding a good bubble tea in non-Asian communities is difficult. That makes Fuzion an oasis in the desert. The drink had more texture to it, like they had pureed real mango into the drink. It was refreshing, and lacked the powdery taste of teas made with powdered mix. The large list of tea options will give you several chances at finding your favourite. Next time I might have to try the food! read more

Sushi is fantastic. Saskatoons little secret for great sushi! The rice is the best around on the rolls. The rainbow roll is my fav. Spicy tuna sashimi is so yummy! The owners are super friendly and happy. Will remember your name if you frequent. My fav. read more

There were pictures online of the dynamite role & ours did not look like that. It was mostly rice and very little filling & were very small roles. Not fresh ingredients & not worth the $41 for 2 roles and ramen. My partner and I are big sushi fans & this was a bit disappointing read more

What a great little place! I can't think of any reason why I should not give it a five star rating. Our visit was absolutely flawless. I had the Fuzion Combo and a green tea and my friend had a vegetarian sashimi plate and a bubble tea. Both our meals were super tasty and very well presented. The young woman who served us was incredibly and perfectly attentive, but not 'overly' attentive! It's not a 'fancy' restaurant, more like a 'no frills' kind of place, and that's fine. It was clean and comfortable. I bet this restaurant gets overlooked often and if so, what a shame. Go! Eat! Enjoy! :) read more

It was excellent. Had the Combo Suchi. I'll be eating here again for sure. Very nice n fresh. Very well made. Very clean. Excellent service. You'll be pleased you came here :) read more

The sushi was definitely good, for that I feel bad for this review... But the service was in need of work.. A young girl was our server, and never had any idea what she was brining out. Just set each plate in front of someone random each time. We all had confused looks and would ask her what it was. She just had no clue. All our waters and drinks continually were left empty awaiting a refill, and there was only one other person in the entire restaurant eating. The building was okay, you could tell they worked to keep it clean, but could use some updating. Maybe some disposable chop sticks instead of the ones they wash and return to the table. Always makes me nervous.... read more

Overpriced. And this is definitely NOT oyako Don - it's just big pieces of chicken with an egg and broccoli on top. Very disappointed. read more

Fuzion - Come on! This is NOT oyako Don! - Sushi Bars Near Me - Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Would never attempt again. I am well versed in asian food and my boyfriend Korean. We could barely stomach the food. Cost was over priced for the lack luster food. $5.25 for kappa maki? Not even in Vancouver or NYC! My rice bowl was bland and made with thick, poor cut beef that had freezer flavor. As restaurateurs ourselves, I wouldn't waste anyone's time with this place. Oh yes, and the fork pre placed in my bowl for the "white girl" highly inappropriate! I teach sushi classes! Offensive! read more

A great little place with great sushi. Their chirashi is TO DIE FOR. I don't understand all the negative reviews. Check out this place if you are ever in the area! It's worth it to try read more

Imagine Sushi taken to the lowest common denominator. Imagine not needing to train anyone in the delicate process of sushi making, because the meet is cubed up like Lego pieces and the rolls are put together in a giant automated cigarette roller. Imagine a "steak sushi" covered in seasoned mayo. Because that's what Americans like? If it is actually fish you want, imagine your choices being the most over fished stock in the seas? Do we really need fast food sushi further depleting the few remaining tuna in the world? Do we really need to provide another market for Indonesian slave shrimp boats? Do we need to provide more reasons to create giant GMO salmon? Do we ever need to eat fake crab made from pulverized bits of by-catch? I didn't think so. Fuzion Sushi has absolutely no reason to exist. It probably won't last long, but in the mean time, save your money and a couple of times a year, go to a real Sushi place with a sushi master who respects the tradition and the food. read more
