Nice cut and color. ****Love this place**** June 7th, 2019 Back again to get my hair done. I know that it's going to look great. I always look forward to coming here. Giselle does an EXCELLENT JOB!!! She treats all her customers like family. Because of her dedication my hair is becoming what it once was, shiny, full of curls, longer and healthier. She does eyelash extensions on the side. Might look into doing it one day. She accepts appointments only for eyelashes. Right now I requested deep conditioning for my hair, under a salon heat dryer feeling relaxed. So till next time. Two girls were there.. one was mopping the entire store, other was sitting on her phone sitting in her chair. no customers inside. I asked if there was a wait and the one mopping replied very quickly no. I told them I needed a haircut... I was quickly greeted with frustration and rudeness from her and was told there wasn't enough time to cut my hair that I would need to come back tomorrow.... It takes over 2 hours for a haircut? It's an absolutely great location to get your haircut and feel good about the time and money spent. Consider it. I have been coming to this location for 6 years and I've never left with a haircut that I haven't been happy with. I will always recommend this place over some fancy salon or a barber who knows like 3 cuts and has been doing it since The Great War. Now what matters to me, personally speaking that is, is that this place also has a coolness factor built in. The music is usually a good vibe, TVs are at every station with sports or something interesting, and each stylist has a legit toolbox paired with a comfortable chair. Can't ask for more really. Plus, around holidays the girls at this location go all out and make it look awesome! The other thing I like about this location, and the reason I keep coming back, is because I appreciate the "life sessions" you get while you are here. The stylists here are realistic about what is possible to do, and they have helped to teach me some cool haircare tricks along the way too. Which, let's be honest, guys don't get enough of that in their life, and I really appreciate a place where I can learn good products to use for hair and beard care from people that know what they are talking about. I can't speak for everyone's experience here, but the reviews for this location are pretty weak and not representative of my own. This Lady Jane's is legit. That is my kinda place, so this vibe works for me. Theres a receptionist, behind a school looking desk. That area was quite cluttered w/ a filled coat rack. Their staff is a mixture of employees & hairstylists who rent a space. I had a Groupon for Michelle Yonek, a renter. I was looking for a trim, with some layers for shape. I asked how much I needed off, she said 2-3 inches minimum . I said 2 inches. Let's just say its about FOUR inches...but, in the end, I do like my cut. Like a 8/10. She could of spent more time on the layers. Its rare to find a hairdresser that both listens & delivers & looks like they actually enjoy life. This woman has 20+ yrs of experience & owned her own salon for crying out loud. And hence why I havent had a haircut in 2 years. #noyolo So 8/10 haircut, would try other salons before I'd be a repeat customer, and $22 later-- still better than going to a Great Clips type place and me begging theres someone there whose not a bitch and actually smiles.
