I purchased a spa package special which included Massage, Facial, Spa Pedicure and Basic Manicure. Massage and Facial: Amy did my my Massage and Facial and she is AMAZING. This was the last part and BEST part of my visit. The facial was soothing and the message was so relaxing, I walked out feeling completely refreshed. I would highly recommend her and would totally go back to see her. Spa Pedi and Basic Mani I do not recalled the name of the associate who did my Spa Pedi and Basic Mani. The spa pedicure was decent, she did a standard good job. The manicure however was the WORST manicure, I've ever received. I could have 100% done a better job myself. The way she cut my nails, they looked like "U" shapes, I had to take a double look at them when she asked if I liked the shape because I was shocked, I've never seen anything like that. When I asked her to round them out to a more natural looking shape, they still look liked straight lines across like square boxes. After she sanded the "U's" into "boxes", she didn't wipe the dust off and began painting right on top of the dust on the nails causing bumps and bubbles. All of that aside, the paint job itself was horrible. It looked like if my 6 or 7 year old little sister asked if she could try to paint my nails for the first time. The second coat just looks like it was kind of "spilled" on top of the first coat" not painted on. Just completely uneven and terrible. Just the worst manicure I've ever receive, I cant wait for them to grow back so I can fix this mess. Recommendations: Skip the mani. If you're getting a spa package and the mani is included, you can chance it, because I do believe there were other nail techs there. If getting a massage or facial, ask for Amy if possible. If you don't get Amy, give it a shot, the other massage and facial specialist there could be great too. read more

PLEASE TRY TO BE MORE CULTURED ESPECIALLY WITH PEOPLE OF ETHNIC DIVERSE HAIR TEXTURE ! No one of ethnicity or person of color works here! That says enough....They claimed they could work with my textured hair over the phone and claimed online they can work with All hair types. I went in and no one acknowledged me. I would say ok. The nail service is speedy which I like. I feel like price isn't the best on top of that we tipped generously and price was more than what they mentioned in person and over the phone. I am ok with the service but would try out other salons since they didn't wow me or nothing was beyond the usual. read more

Flew in from CA to visit my family. I've been wanting to get my hair colored since it had been awhile. My mom had recommended her hair salon. She scheduled me an appointment with Laurie. I showed her what I wanted and she did exactly that. She was super sweet and used precision when she cut my hair. I absolutely LOVE my new hair. 10/10 recommend coming here if you want quality and friendly staff. read more

I really hesitated to post a review because I know how damaging it can be to a business but after two months and still being upset, if I can prevent this from happening to someone else it's worth it. Back story on me - I have medium length, thick-ish, naturally medium to dark brown hair. I used to go to a stylist that is employed at future directions now when they were still at studio sonata. I changed it up to go to salon front and center in Berea which has been a much better experience and they can accommodate balayage. Ended up with free family photos with 4 days notice and my hair was overgrown and I knew I couldn't get in to my usual stylist because she books up 6 weeks in advance. Called future directions and my old stylist had many same day appointments available (red flag!). Made an appointment for the same day for a women's cut and to go back to my natural color/ cover up old balayage and highlights. THREE hours later I leave with jet black, soaking wet hair. Literally four to five shades darker than my natural color is. She left me in the chair (pregnant, mind you) with color processing for 90 minutes as she cut another clients hair. My scalp was burning. She came back to check on me and was more concerned about cleaning the dye off of the plastic chair cover than getting it off of my burning scalp. Then it comes time to pay and she charged me double for color (because of how much time and dye it took... remember I sat in the chair for 90 min as she tended to another client)! So after all of that I could have went to a legitimate salon and paid less for a custom color, cut and style in less time than I paid for jet black soaking wet hair that is 5 shades darker than what I asked for. I have my first color correction appointment today with another stylist and really dreading how much this will cost to fix. read more

The girl who did my pedicure was literally bragging about slapping her co workers in the face and making them quit. No massage, barely any color choices to choose from. Most likely will not be coming back. read more

Tried this salon, bad idea. The lady I spoke to on the phone is the nail lady she was so nice. Walk in the receptionist is very rude and crabby. Then get my hair cut. Not happy with it called back closed for awhile cause they had a covid case in there. Called again to get it fixed. Went to get fixed they charged me again for them not doing a good hair cut. My hair cut is horrible and looks very bad. So I got charged twice for a horrible hair cut. Any other salon would have fixed it for free. It's not a good hair cut. read more

I've been growing out a pixie since summer, with the goal of a bob style. I needed a little shape up b4 the holidays. Tammy cut about an inch+ off the crown and top, and left the back long. So now I have a mullet. A bob is long on the top and sides and short in the back. So I cut the back myself at home and now I have to wait even longer to grow this. I am SO upset. I went there three times. The first cut and style was great! The second was fine. The third cut and style with the stylist was a disaster. It was like she completely forgot what she was doing and then tried to save her mistake with excess hairspray and a curling iron. I'm not a kidding. My hair is too short to hold a curl. I hate it! I guess she was more interested in going to the back of the salon for the meeting AKA birthday cake than taking care of her patron. Never going there again. read more

This is an excellent salon. They are professional and clean. The owner is so sweet and kind. She's been doing this for 30+ years! Says a lot that she's been in business that long and still going strong. The techs have all been excellent. I love that they are accommodating - if I have something coming up I have always been able to get an emergency apt if needed. Great place, highly recommended. read more
