There are also a wide variety of classes to take for those interested in learning the art of clay. The gallery of master potters works is exciting to view and purchase pieces from. The main studio is bright, airy and there is ample space to work on the electric wheel and for handbuilding. I've been working with clay since the 70's and this studio is the best that I have worked in. I became a member in May 2023 and plan to remain one for a long time. Dallas, Taylor and Sara are open to questions and very supportive in everyone's work. I've been working on my own while other classes have been taking place and the level of instruction matches and exceeds that of an academic setting. When you are surrounded by potters who excel in their art, it encourages you to strive for improvement. The visiting potters that hold classes are amazing. I learn so much from the classes and interacting with those who create amazing works of art. Working on the pottery wheel is a meditative experience for me.
