A cute and fun activity - something different to do on a day when it's too cold to go outside…read more We stopped by on a Saturday around noon and it was packed. There was a birthday party going on in the party room, and almost every table in the main section was taken. There's a set fee of $9 per painter for the studio fee, and then you pay for the price of whichever piece you select. Then you get to pick five colors to put on your palette. My daughters had fun painting. They are probably little for this activity, but it's been so cold out that we just wanted something new to do. If you have littles I'd just encourage you to pick an easy piece. We actually missed an entire wall of kid friendly pieces, so I wish we knew about that. They have a good selection of pieces to paint, and I can definitely see us coming back here again in the future, and also might even consider it for my daughter's fifth birthday party!

The owner and staff members are all so very friendly and welcoming. Very clean and organized environment and my children love it!! There is, also, always a selection to choose from ,for each holiday, as well! The items we choose to paint and decorate need to always be handled with care bc they can be fragile. I have Halloween and Father's Day porcelain paintings we chose from and still have it in the best of condition, 6 years later! I love all of their different selections and can also host birthdays parties here! Kids love bdays here, as, they let their inner creativity shine!! Prices are reasonable and there is a lot of free parking available which is always, a plus! I definitely recommend! So much fun!!

I never received a text. then I called them in March and she told me to come in whenever today so I came as soon as I could I called around 5 and got there at 5:55 I live 30 minutes away. online it says that they are open until 9 expect Sundays they close at 5. so i drove 30 minutes for nothing all because they wouldn't update their website info. still haven't gotten my pottery hopefully soon.

If you are looking to have a fun time, DO NOT GO HERE!! If I…read morecould give zero stars to this place, I would. I have never had such a horrible experience, and I've gone to many pottery painting studios. We came as a family and picked out a large piece to work on together and even though we were all paying a studio fee, the paint was getting rationed to us, and they got annoyed when we ran out and asked for more. SO stingy and unpleasant. Grace hovered over us the whole time, interfering and telling us how much paint to use (she didn't want us to use too much even though I knew from past experience that it needs 2-3 coats of paint or else it looks streaky) It was just so unpleasant. There are no prices on the pieces, and they only allow three paint colors - the whole thing had a dishonest and stingy feel. The owner was mad and huffy because we were working on a large piece together as a family instead of individual pieces. An expensive piece mind you! One of the benches was shaky which made it hard to paint and when we asked to switch for a chair that no one was using we were told we were making too many requests and we should leave! I have NEVER - in any other painting studio - had my paint colors restricted or rationed or told how many coats I can put on the piece or how many people can work together THIS WAS RIDICULOUS!!!! There are so many other local pottery places - find somewhere more kind, family oriented and friendly if you want to have a good time. I wish I would have read the other one star reviews before I came here because what they describe was exactly my experience.

We had a very nice play date at Color Mr Mine in Summit today. Ashley the manager is amazing and…read morethe staff is super helpful. I never had to ask for clean water or more paint. They were just on top of it. All 5 kids had a great time. It is the perfect place for a snowy day like today. They even wrote the kids' names on their pieces which was such a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

My daughter and I had a blast painting ceramics at Color Me Mine yesterday. This was something I…read moreused to do ALL the time when I was younger so it brought me back! This was our first time here, and my daughter's first time painting ceramics and she really enjoyed it! When we first entered we were greeted by a young woman at the front. She asked if we had reservations (which we did not), but that did not seem to matter. She told us what we had to do in regards to picking out the ceramics. There is also an $8.00 studio fee per artist. She gave us a paper to fill out with our info and we went to pick out our ceramics. My daughter chose a cute giraffe piggy bank, and I chose a cupcake box. Once we picked out what we wanted, we told the woman at the front and she got us the materials we needed. We sat down at a table and got to painting. We filled up our palettes with the many different colors of paint they had available. It was so easy to get right into painting. I overheard someone say you should do multiple layers of paint so it will look nice when they glaze it, but my daughter does not have that kind of patience. I tried my best with mine, so we will see how they come out. It took us a little over an hour from start to finish. When you are done you leave your ceramics at the table and go up to the register to pay. It certainly is pricey! They even had a discount on the day we went (Wednesday) for anyone five and under, the studio fee is $1.00. Even with the discount the total amount was $56.00. Yes, obviously the ceramics you pick will affect the price, so just be aware of that. My daughter did have a bit of a meltdown once she realized she had to leave her giraffe there to get the glaze. The woman said we can pick up our ceramics in about two weeks. That seems a bit long, but I assume they are pretty busy. I saw them packing away a bunch of ceramics that had been glazed and there were A LOT. Overall, I had a fun, bonding experience with my daughter at Color Me Mine. It's obviously not something I would do every day, but it was so fun to do something different for once!
