Awesome playground and covered benches…read more I came here for a Mom's club playdate. It was a snack potluck and hang out. I snagged the last parking spot (as others have mentioned the parking lot is small, but you can park at the school if you can't find a spot.) I only walked through the actual rec building to get to the park. I was amazed by the outside area. The benches are covered and there are a ton of cubby holes where you can store your stuff. The playground is covered too! We're in Florida, shade matters! There is also a huge grassy area in case you want to throw a ball or just let your child run around and blow off steam. Whatever floats your boat. Once my child starts walking I'm sure we will be back many times.

Not many people know about this gym that is part of the Hillsborough County Park and Recreation department. We have use this gym for our badminton club free play night for almost a year. This facilities have soccer field at the back of the building. Many activities took place at this location include children soccer team. The media room have computer for the after school care. They also have the theater performance art class. They have high impact aerobic class and low impact exercise class. The gym floor is two basketball courts two volley ball courts or four badminton courts. Our badminton club play two night a week. This building is actually our tax money to build it. The gym floor is spring board with wood flooring. They are very nice. Please check out the available classes that are ongoing now by calling the center or walk up to the main lobby for the available exercise class. Make good use of this new facilities.

And a small playground for little ones while big brother or sister are playing. The club house/concession stand is located right between the fields. The concession stand has hit doors, snacks and an assortment of drinks. There are bathrooms located with the concession/club house. The soccer club has teams from little tikes to high school age. Some adult teams play here too. The Recreational soccer is spring/fall. There is also a competitive league. There are also football goal posts so some football leagues play here too. Watching the kids enjoy being outside and learning to play as a team is wonderful. Come on over if you above kids and join in the fun!!!

My son was 2 when he first started playing soccer and he has played on little kids starter teams, YMCA, Dynamo, and Roaring Rangers. Out of all of the coaches that I've come in contact with from these different environments I can tell these families have tremendous heart for the game. They are overall just great people. They are the kind of people that I hope my kids grow up to be like someday. Switching from Dynamo is the best thing we ever did for Colin. Before he sat on the bench most of the game. Now he plays, and he plays well thanks to this dynamic duo. So proud to be on their team and grow with them.

Baybridge Park is located in the Westchase Suburban District of West Tampa off Linebaugh Avenue, Montague Street, and Bridgeton Drive. Baybridge Park has a Tot Lot playground for smaller kids 2 to 5 years old and a large playground for older kids 5 to 12 years old. The Tot playground is lower to the ground with 4 small slides and multiple obstacles that are friendly for smaller kids. The large playground has 6 different slides, several obstacles, several points of entry, and even has some teachable games including a traffic sign game, life stages of a butterfly, diagram of the planets, and alphabet letters. Baybridge Park also has swings, a nature trail, a bike path, bathrooms, water fountains, shaded picnic areas, and a large soccer field! Baybridge Park is one of the few parks that has outdoor exercise equipment which is great to keep parents busy while their kids play in the playground and they can still keep an eye on their kids! The Baybridge Park connects to the Westchase community on the other side of Linebaugh via a tunnel going under the street to allow families with little ones safe passage without having to worry about traffic! The Baybridge Park's Tot playground and swing area is covered to protect your little ones from the sun but their big playground is not fully covered. There is a shade at the top of the fort but that's about it. This playground and surrounding area is always very clean and nice. If you're in the Westchase Area of Tampa and have young kids, I definitely recommend checking this park out!

Toddler soccer really is hit or miss. Young kids don't have great language, coordination, or…read moreattention skills, but it's still fun seeing them run around and try to learn soccer skills. Classes are very coach dependent. We are on to our second session, and the coach is great and gets our son to do a lot more than the previous coach did. We started him shortly after he turned 3. I think starting at 2.5 would have been too young, although some kids might be able to learn at that age.

A real waste of your valuable $ until your child gets above at least eight years old. Listening to the 'instructors' our, and several others, have no formal soccer training. This is surely the reason for the disorganized time your child will spend there.

Contrary to some of the reviews, I did not think the fields are in great shape. There are holes and dirt mounds all over the place. I'm surprised I havent rolled my ankles at all yet ( probably just jinxed myself). It is conveniently close to where I live which is a big plus and I'll continue to play here. The complex gets a lot of traffic, since it hosts a youth soccer league as well as the multiple adult soccer teams that play here as well. They do a pretty good job with field maintenance, rotating fields in and out of service based upon wear & tear; considering how much they are used, it's overall in fairly good shape. The bathrooms almost always need some help though, they're hit or miss as to whether or not they're working.
