I stumbled upon Fusion Spa while looking for a place in NYC to remove a stubborn milia on my eyelid. I had tried home remedies as well as removing it myself without any success, and though it was a tiny hard bump on the crease of my eyelid located on the inner corner of my eye (very difficult location), it bothered me every morning when I do my skincare routine (or wake up next to a handsome man even if he probably doesn't notice it ) The glowing review for Tiffany's work caught my attention so I decided to trust her with my eye. I was nervous as it's in an important area.. I would hate for scarring, accidental trimming of my lashes, or worse an accident to my vision to occur. Scheduling was easy. Tiffany was flexible and responsive and reachable through text/calls. Upon arriving, I felt comfortable in the cleanliness of the place. Tiffany's skin also immediately caught my attention as it looked SO healthy, even, and glowing! When she told me her age and that she had no make up on, I think my jaw dropped. I wanted to know all her secrets to looking more than a decade younger (at least!) The procedure went by smoothly. A little pinch, nothing intolerable, and voila! When I looked in the mirror only a small flat red dot was visible to me (which disappeared by the end of the day). No one would ever know that a milia was once removed by looking at my eye UP-CLOSE. I researched dermaplaning and liked Fusion Spa's Yelp reviews and website best - locality was a factor too. Tiffany is so pleasant and made me feel so welcomed with tea. She has such positive and warm energy. The space is clean and quiet. The building is a doorman building and well maintained. The procedure was great - I felt comfortable and I like the difference from microdermabrasion. Drink lots of water leading up so your skin is not and hydrated to help the scraping. It's great that she also did my neck as well. I also purchased the Osmosis cleaning and moisturizer lotions which smell incredible. Wonderful and wondrous! I love going to a spa that knows how to do facials right and I have found my NYC facial home! :) Tiffany is excellent at what she does and has years of experience as well! I've never gotten a facial so I didn't know what to expect besides what my "experienced facial friends" have told me. I got the Express Facial and my skin looked/felt AMAZING! *angels singing* Tiffany really took the time to examine and understand my skin. Background: I used to get facials in my teens, and I had not had one done in years. My skin is not particularly problematic, but with Tiffany's magic touch I went from good skin to great skin. I came into Tiffany's spa and I loved the atmosphere: very clean and elegant. She sat me down and took a history. I came in because my coupon was going to expire. I had considered getting the microdermabrasion but then told her I wanted something more natural. I think she did the Signature Fusion Facial. It started out with lots of deliciously aromatic serums... So pleasant! The extraction part was painful but I got used to it. Then she used the high frequency, which I was not expecting and I know nothing about. Tiffany did my brows: she used tweezers (thank goodness!), preserved the shape and just cleaned it all up. The result is very aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend this salon as Tiffany is very thorough and knowledgeable. She gave me samples of the Dermalogica line and they are the best, I think I'm going to buy the whole package! read more

Lisa has changed my skin! I've been seeing Lisa for facials for a while (even prior to her working at Fusion Spa) and I have always thought of her as a skin expert. When she left her prior spa, I was devastated because I coulnd't locate her! I tried other facialists but they were never as good as Lisa. So I am so glad to have found Lisa again and now working at Fusion Spa. I have combination skin, though more oily (sometimes bumpy), and clogs easily while certain areas have dry patches, so I've been getting facials to try to clear it. I've been to many facialists and no matter what treatment they gave me, my skin would inevitably go back to its normal texture and clog again. After seeing Lisa a couple of times, she came up with a regimen for my skin. And I am happy to say that after following her regimen (nothing crazy, just some products for the face before bedtime) my skin has completely transformed! It's so much softer and clearer than before. I feel years younger! I can't recomment Lisa enough. She got to know my skin and figured out which products I needed and helped me establish a routine that actually worked! She is patient with my endless questions about products (there is just so much out there!) and never pushes me to buy anything. She gives me samples before I buy (so I don't waste money on a product that might not agree with my skin.) My skin feels better than it did a couple of years ago! She really is a skin care expert! She educates me on holistic remedies, how to take care of my body and cure my ailments. As for the skin, she is about the most knowledgeable experienced skin care guru in the business. I cannot say enough good things about Fusion Spa. I have been going every few months for over two years now, and every time I go Tiffany does wonders to my face. The spa is located in an office building by Columbus Circle, very easy to get to. The space is cozy and zen, and you will feel relaxed as soon as you come in. Tiffany is just amazing. It's very easy to book an appointment with her, and she always tries her best to work around your schedule, even if it's last minute. She takes genuine interest in her clients, always taking notes on the products you use, your diet, your routine, etc. And she always remembers even the most random details. She recommends some products that she sells at the spa but never pushes them on me, and she usually gives me some samples so I can try them out first. I never have a set treatment that I want to get when I go, I trust Tiffany completely to do whatever she thinks it's necessary at the time and she's always spot on. Whatever facial/treatment I get is always 5 stars. The whole experience is very easy and relaxing. Tiffany provides you with a clean towel that you can change into, the room is always warm, and she makes sure you're always comfortable. The background music a great complement to the experience, allowing me to really let myself go and enjoy the moment. None of the treatments have been painful, even the extractions. Although the extractions can be uncomfortable at times, Tiffany is a pro at getting them out seamlessly and never digs too deeply. She also walks you through the whole treatment, always letting you know what's coming next and what it should feel like. After we're done, my skin always looks and feels amazing, and I feel like a whole new person. I've been coming to Fusion Spa for years, when it was previously located in a hotel around 34th st. The current location is right near Columbus Circle, which is convenient. I've had facials from Tiffany & Lisa, but I consistently return to Lisa Shannon. She is so knowledgable about most product lines (high end and lower, and organic/natural as well as more medical lines), & she has the perfect touch-which is so important with facials & massage. Lisa also has a chill/calming vibe that is exactly what I want when I step in from my hectic day. Unlike most spas I've been to, she'll spend as much time with you as your face needs, rather than rushing or skipping things, so I never feel rushed here. Facial from fusion spa has ruined my skin. I have those dark pigmentation lifted on my skin. N i got eczema even after that facial. My skin is red n burn all the time. Now i can't use any facial wash on ma face even those designed for the sensitive skin. I can't go out no matter how much sun screen i wear. Its more than a month n ma skin is hell still. I m getting those new scars( there scars are coming out of nowwhere without any pimple etc ( im nt using any other thing after facial so its nt due to my products) n then i came to know that its a side effect of RF she used. I wish she hasn't used that on ma face .although i asked her to do extractions only. about that RF plz study on internet and also ask ur dermatologits. I wished i have done that before. I've been seeing Lisa at Fusion Spa every few months since 2012 due to my acne prone skin. Lisa has worked with me through diet recommendations, facials and skin care products to clear up my skin and it has never looked better! (At some point, I even considered going on Accutane and am so glad I was able to avoid it.) The spa is located in an office building just off Columbus Circle and is easily accessible by subway. The space itself is quite cozy, stocked with a few healthy snacks, and tea to get you through the colder months. Appointments are also easy to book. I'll usually send Lisa an email a couple days before I need an appointment and she'll do her best to work with my schedule. At the beginning of my appointments, Lisa will take a look at my skin to determine what treatments I need. Throughout the treatment, she'll check up on me to make sure the products are reacting with my skin as they should. Whether we're catching up on weekend plans/new music or I'm catching up on sleep while she works on my skin, every appointment is enjoyable and one that I look forward to. Tiffany is phenomenal. Her dermaplaning is not only the best deal in the city (given all the extra treatments and small perks she throws in), but also the best quality. When I've done dermaplaning and facials at other places in the past, I've tended to find aestheticians to be lacking either in focus (e.g., missing spots and ignoring small details) or in bedside manner (i.e., so type A/focused that they end up stressing me out more than relaxing me!). My skin looks the best it ever has thanks to Tiffany. Tiffany is great; she is very detailed about working with you when going after every little skin imperfection if your looking to be as flawless as possible. I've had facials, facials with extraction, and Skin Classic done with Tiff and the tone and texture of my skin has improved more in just a few sessions with her than with any dermatologist over the years. Moreover, Tiffany is very caring and considerate when analyzing your situation and when making lifestyle recommendations. I have a lengthy medical history and had pretty much given up on skin over the years but she inspires and makes recommendations to improve. She was never pushy with product; I opted to go with some of her products in the Osmosis line and incorporated other things that she recommended and my skin feels cleaner than it ever has. Depending on what your looking to improve it could take a couple sessions but she will work with you to accommodate your preferred schedule.
