Gyoza
Tim A.

Small place. Great vibe. Our server was really nice. My wife wanted suggestions on the Boba milk tea as she had not had them before and the server Arian was quick to share her favorite as well as most popular items. We ordered gyoza as an app. The server helped me learn to say it properly. They were cooked fresh and served hot. We thought we were ready to order, then our server showed us the special that is not on the menu. Brisket in the Ramen. Yes please. The Ramen is so good. I have never had restaurant Ramen before so i cannot compare it but it is delicious.

Nice atmosphere, great food, great customer service. I think the teriyaki chicken is the best thing on the menu but my kids like everything. If you're undecided on what to order the teriyaki is a safe choice.

Cute little restaurant in Yulee shopping center - unexpected to find a Ramen restaurant in Yulee! Waitresses are very friendly and helpful and explain the contents of each Ramen and other dishes very well. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen which had a very nice rich pork broth with all of the usual good additions. Noodle were well done and this was a great way to warm up on a cold day. My wife got the vegetarian fried rice which was a very large portion and tasty. If you live in the Yulee, this is definitely worth a visit to try something you may not be familiar with.

Can't say enough great things about my experience here last night. 10/10 definitely recommend!! The art work and decor in the restaurant had anime themes which I loved immediately. There was light music playing on the sound system as well. Service from my server Arien was awesome and she is so warm and welcoming! The food here was absolutely delicious. I started with the chicken karaage which was piping hot and fresh. I ordered the spam and kimchi fried rice which was recommended by Arien. Salty, savory and went perfectly with the chili oil. The main event was the off the menu braised beef ramen, also an Arien recommendation and I cannot thank her enough! The beef was so tender and melt in your mouth good. The broth was rich and full of flavor, just what the doctor ordered. Please check this place out, you'll love it as much as I did!

Let's get right to it , food is amazing . Ramen is tik-tok worthy . Presentation is perfect . Service excellent. The tidbits in the ramen were ultra tender , fresh and full of flavour. If an item was intended to be used it was done with purpose. Excellent, top notch and did I say tasty!

Ramen is my favorite food but this was not the move. I lived in Japan for a year and tried ramen 3-5 times a week. So least to say, I was so excited for a ramen place in the Yulee or Fernandina area. The beef is delicious and the best part. The broth was passable but on the lower end of the average spectrum for Florida (there are better places in Jax). My biggest issue was the noodles. No way are these noodles fresh or of decent quality. Noodles are so important in ramen and to see such a cheap path taken to use premade noodles was a huge turn off for me, I couldn't finish the bowl. If you're going to open a ramen restaurant, please make your own noodles. The staff were sweet and attentive. They were also kind enough to confirm some of my suspicions about the noodles and recommend other dishes.

I finally tried Fusion Ramen for lunch the other day. We arrived an hour before they closed for lunch break and were seated immediately. The servers were quick and attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Ramen and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Katsu Ramen. I thought everything tasted good but it could have used a little more of all the toppings. The egg was an up-charge and was overcooked. It tasted like a hard boiled egg instead of it being slightly runny. The chicken from the katsu was delicious and I love that they put the chicken on the side so it didn't get soggy. We also ordered a green ice cream for dessert which was sooo good! I'm glad a new ramen place made its way into Yulee!

Wow! Fusion Ramen is amazing. They have a really nice variety of ramen dishes and rice bowls and Gluten free options too. I had the spicy beef ramen bowl and it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in and trying them out.

Shrimp Ramen & TonKotsu Ramen

Ramen was very good! We ordered Shrimp,TonKotsu, Shoyu Ramen & all were delicious. Our server was GREAT, she was extremely nice & attentive! Food came out very fast. We also ordered Coconut shrimp as an appetizer, they were delicious & there were enough that out family of 4 were all able to have a few. My only complaint is that we also ordered spring rolls as an appetizer & we only received 3 rolls & they were very SMALL , not a great value for the price. Other than that our experience was great.

Spicy beef ramen was cooked to perfection with amazing flavors. Perfect to pair with a side of kimchi.

Service was great too, very attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. We started with the combo appetizer, and I'd absolutely recommend it if you're dining with a small group. It came with spring rolls, tempura shrimp, rangoons, chicken satay skewers, wontons, Thai dumplings, and a variety of sauces. For $22, the portion felt very fair, especially split between three people. Everything on the platter was good, but the chicken satay skewers were the standout for me. They were really flavorful and cooked nicely. For dinner, my parents both ordered the Grand Palace, which came with grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken in a garlic sauce with mixed vegetables and rice. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, which honestly impressed me, and it was tender. The garlic sauce had great flavor without overpowering the proteins or vegetables. I went with the Shoyu Ramen, which had a tempura fried piece of chicken in a soy sauce broth. I can be a little particular about ramen because every restaurant approaches the broth differently, but this one worked really well for me. The broth was clear and light, but still rich with flavor. The noodles had the right bouncy texture and weren't overcooked, and I really liked the tiny shredded pieces of nori on top because they added a little extra depth to each bite. It's probably my second favorite ramen I've had dining out. Overall, not one thing we ordered missed. Between the clean dining room, kind service, generous appetizer, and flavorful entrées, Drunken Noodle is definitely a place I'd recommend in St. Mary's.

My first impression was pretty blah, but we were in a time crunch and our first stop did not have sushi which was important to one of our party. But, that's where things changed! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She took our orders accurately, and the variety of dishes we ordered came out very timely with assistance from another. Good teamwork. The quality of the food was really very good with basic plating . The pricing was $$ which went with the decor. I always think to myself "quality, service and price - pick two!" These days you're lucky to get two! Ahan had all three! (I guess fourth would be decor and that was the only thing lacking) We enjoyed a variety of basic sushi and stirfry dishes and even a couple little fellows in our party were smiling and enjoying their meals. I wish I had taken pictures, but we were in a hurry to go to Catty Shack - only 10 minutes away. This isn't a place I would dress up to go to on a first date. This is a place that I would go to to enjoy a satisfying meal with good service without breaking the bank. I was a little bit disappointed my birthday didn't inspire a little tiny birthday dessert like most places would surprise you with at the end, but OK lol. The restaurant owner is budget conscious too I guess lol. No extras like flowers on the table for birthday dessert ;) That would've been a nice touch but I will take quality price & service anytime over a free dessert! Something else that really stood out was the other patrons were there getting served promptly and enjoying their meals from the looks on their faces. Most look like they were returned customers, which is a great sign. I think I would recommend Ahan Thai Kitchen on E State Rd 200.

Tonight, my sister, my mother, and I were feeling another dinner at Salt Life was due, so we hopped in the car and drove the hour to get there, excited for the meal we were to be consuming soon. We walked in and was greeted by a girl at the register, telling us the host would be with us soon. So, while mom and my sister were checking out the aquarium, I stood there patiently waiting for the host/ess. A gentleman walked in behind me and was immediately greeted by the hostess asking him how many were in his party (he was alone at this point), I turned to the girl at the register and said, "excuse me, she never even acknowledged me". She turned to the hostess and said "they were here waiting". The hostess turned back to her 2 other friends? Work peers? And then led the 3 of us on a tour of the whole dining room area before seating us at a table she could have skipped 45 steps getting to, but whatever. She said "someone will be over to help you". And that was it. The people next to us were getting served, drinks topped off, etc., and the table on the other side as well. (Different waitresses). The table behind us, a party of 6 maybe...getting service. And there we sat. For 10 minutes...nothing. We had put our menus down within 4 minutes of sitting (we come here enough to know what we want) to signal we were ready to order. Nothing. I told my sister this is the payback for speaking up. I told her I'd give them 5 more minutes to at least take a drink order, or we'd be leaving. We waited. Nothing. So we left! How disappointing. We were really looking forward to dinner here, and left with stomachs empty. Now we are on the quest to find the next best place to become regulars at in Fernandina Beach. I can't say anything bad about the food, it's what kept us coming back, but the service we experienced tonight will keep us from coming back. Such a shame!

A Hidden Gem for Wok & Sushi Lovers…read more I stopped in on a whim and was genuinely impressed by how good this place is. The staff greeted me with warmth and made the entire experience feel welcoming and relaxed--like I was a regular from the start. The food? Absolutely solid. Fresh sushi, flavorful wok dishes, and everything came out hot, well-prepared, and at prices that make you do a double-take (in a good way). You can tell they care about quality without overcharging for it. Now, fair warning--the place has more surfboards than storage space, and some of that overflow has made its way into the dining area. But don't let that discourage you. The charm of this spot lies in its no-frills, laid-back vibe that matches the friendly, casual service perfectly. If I lived in the area, this would easily be a weekly go-to. Between the consistently good food, the down-to-earth ambiance, and the genuinely kind staff, it's the kind of place you can't help but root for. Highly recommend.

A Welcome Surprise at the End of a Long Travel Day…read more"Sometimes the best meals are the ones you never expected." After a long day of travel delays and missed meals, we landed in Jacksonville hungry and exhausted. Our flight from Dallas arrived more than five hours late, our luggage took forever, and by the time we finally made it to the car it was past 9:15 at night. At that hour we knew our dining options were limited. As we drove away from the airport we spotted Ruby Tuesday with its lights still on and decided to give it a try. It is not the type of restaurant we typically review, but this turned out to be one of those nights when a simple meal becomes memorable because of the people and the experience. Ambiance and Décor Ruby Tuesday is exactly what you expect from a national restaurant near the airport. Clean, simple, and located in a commercial area frequented by travelers and hotel guests. The décor will not win design awards, but what stood out to us immediately was how warmly we were welcomed. We were the only guests in the restaurant and it was clear the staff was hoping to close up soon, yet they greeted us with genuine kindness. After the day we had, that meant more than they probably realized. Menu and Drinks After hours without food, the Ruby Refresher caught my attention right away and it hit the spot perfectly. Susan ordered a cosmopolitan. The bartender was new and still learning, and the first drink was not quite right. The staff handled it beautifully and remade it without hesitation. The second version was fantastic. Their professionalism and friendliness turned a small hiccup into a positive moment. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of comfort food choices, especially for tired travelers looking for something satisfying. Food Quality I ordered the triple smash burger with onion rings and it was exactly what I needed. Maybe it was the long day, maybe it was the hunger, but it tasted fantastic. Susan chose the tilapia special with shrimp. The dish was prepared very well with flavorful rice and a sauce that struck the right balance of seasoning and spice. For a late night meal at a chain restaurant, the food exceeded our expectations. Service This is where Ruby Tuesday truly excelled. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely caring. They treated us like valued guests even though we were the last table of the night. Their attitude turned what could have been a forgettable meal into an experience we appreciated. Value and Pricing The pricing was very reasonable for both the quality and the portions. It is exactly what you hope for in a restaurant catering to travelers. Overall Experience Walking in we did not expect much. Walking out we were pleasantly surprised. The warm service, well prepared food, and welcoming atmosphere made this a far better experience than we imagined when we pulled out of the airport parking lot. Ruby Tuesday may not be a destination restaurant, but on this night it was exactly what we needed. The Culinary Duo Rating:

I believe in having fun while you work, but he was being obnoxious. Obviously that there was no manager on duty that day. We consider this place our "go to " for a no-drama meal... Obviously something has changed.
