I had a poor experience with Fusion Physical Therapy. While their therapists and techs are quite warm and welcoming, they lacked the knowledge or experience to treat my particular injury. They were not up-to-date on the literature surrounding my injury nor had they treated many others (less than 5 people) with my same injury in the past. They did not listen to me regarding my symptoms nor did they appropriately change my program accordingly. Every week, I was paired with a new physical therapist or technician and had to repeatedly explain what my injury was and how it was being treated. Treatment itself was not effective to which I largely blame the routine I was prescribed (a simple google search revealed that I was being asked to perform exercises that have been shown to negatively impact my particular type of injury by reputable sports medicine physicians and physical therapists). Worst of all, on re-evaulation day, they essentially told me that physical therapy was ineffective for me, made the executive decision to end treatment, and recommended some quack chiropractor. I'm not sure if this was because they finally came to the realization that they were unqualified in treating my injury or what but frankly, it was quite rude and abbreviated for having gone through 10 weeks of treatment. At the end of the day, it was Fusion Physical Therapy's lackluster knowledge of treating my injury (which is uncommon, but by no means rare) that was ineffective. Save yourself time and money and go to a higher quality physical therapy location where the staff listen, are organized, and actually know what they're talking about. read more
