Hair removal at Fusion is a complete scam. The prices are cheap and they give a discount for paying in cash, but their quality of work is terrible. I am NOT a hairy person but after 13 visits(!) for my hoo-hah and underarms you couldn't tell I had visited even once. Then they wanted me to come back ON THE DAY OF MY WEDDING even though I started attending over a year (14 mo) in advance. Half way though my treatments I was unsatisfied with the lady who was administering the laser, and I talked to the owner, who also works in the spa. She promised that she would be the one to administer the rest of my treatments and was very apologetic. However, she was absent at every one of my appointments following her promise, even though we made them together so that she could guarantee her service. She ended up only living up to her promise once! Most other spas that do hair removal have a higher overall or upfront cost but they keep within the legal number of laser applications and guarantee visual results. If I had payed in debit or credit so that my exact dates and number of visits would be legally recorded I would sue or report them. I got a discount at $85 a visit because I was paying in cash. Other salons charged $899-1000 for a maximum of 9 or 10 visits with guaranteed results or a refund. If I had known I would end up paying $1105 for 13 visits and 0 satisfaction I definitely would have chosen another spa. The owner has zero integrity and the place is shady at best. They messed up my eyebrows so badly. Absolutely horrible. They ripped off every single baby hair from the front and shortened my eyebrow. Now they're SEVERELY uneven, round, patchy. This place is really amazing and once you have entered the spa a pleasantly fresh and strong scent of oils comes whiffing your way! I have gotten a facial twice here it was very relaxing and I really felt comfortable with the worker there, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Don't hesitate to come here for facials they do a phenomenal job with facials, I left with my face feeling very soft like a newborns face! The best part of the facial was when I had a warm wet towel wrapped around my face it made my face feel very nourished. I gave Fusion only 4 stars because the lasers are not quite the best, I have had burns under my underarms for a good 6 months! I have to say that you do see results, I have seen amazing results but it's not worth it. First thing, the younger girl at the desk ALWAYS asks why I'm not paying in cash, that is none of your business, second she always speaks to me in Arabic after I've told her MULTIPLE times I don't speak it well enough to understand all she is saying. Then I always arrive early for my appointments by about 15 minutes and I am always made to wait 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. I understand that a wait is inevitable but come on! At one of my appointments I was asked if I was interested in doing full body (I was doing my underarms, upper lip and Brazilian), I told them I was interested in only adding on my legs, they gave me a price and I politely declined since my best friend is doing every inch of her body for $60 less than that. The younger girl tried telling me it's because they use a different machine on my friend, I said okay no problem I am just not interested (they only have one machine by the way), then she says okay I'll give you this price and I agreed. I come back and after 5 sessions of doing my upper lip I haven't had results which is not an issue I understand it doesn't always work so I told the owner I am having great results everywhere else but I no longer want to do my upper lip, so she quotes me my regular price, so I said "but I'm not doing my upper lip" she gave me a "come on" look like I shouldn't be complaining about that then tells me they don't charge me for my upper lip. I told her they do and to pull out every one of my sheets because I see them write down the price next to my upper lip. I then just told her I was no longer interested in coming back and left. I received a phone call trying to negotiate a price with me. I explained that there are 100 other laser hair removal places in Dearborn and that I was all set, whoever called me continued to try to negotiate until I had to hang up. I have been to Fusion medical spa twice now. Their laser hair removal prices are ridiculously cheap! Their service is OK. Having an appointment doesn't mean much. The first time I waited over an hour for service, the second time I waited 45 minutes. I watch the employees and they're usually just walking around, chatting or on their cell phones while i'm waiting. The reason I return however is I feel like the laser hair removal results are really good and the price is unbeatable. Fatima, who did it for me, is OK but she's a little rough and she doesn't use enough gel sometimes but if you're not sensitive then give them a try. This place is the absolute biggest scam ever. If you want to waste money go here. I paid over $1500 for full body laser. When I first came to my consultation I was told that about 80% of the hair will be permanently gone. I did all the sessions I was told I would need and still, I was getting about 50% of my hair growing back. When I told the girl about it she said I never said it's permanent hair removal it's just hair reduction. Ok? Why are you changing what you said. She then told me I need touch ups every few months. I wasted too much money. Now my hair grows back way worse. Keep in mind she told me I was the perfect candidate for laser, but they gave me horrible results. They don't make you feel comfortable at all. They all gossip in Arabic about you( I understand Arabic ). So unprofessional and rude. They give different customers different prices. It's just insane. So far iv been to fusion twice, and these are the nicest people ever. I dont understand why some of these reviews are so negative. There always nice and very generous when doing the laser. I have many ingrown hairs on my legs and fatima (who does my laser treatments) literally spends an hour just on my legs, taking her time and making sure she doesnt miss a spot and that the ingrown hairs reach the surface of my skin. This is only my second treatment and i love the results ! I honestly almost did not go because i seen the reviews, but was recommended by a friend to try it and im honestly so happy i did. fusion medical spa gives you good results but the service is not great. If your appointment is at 2, be prepared to sit there for an hour before you get called in. They schedule 3 people at one time which causes a huge hold up. & the technicians don't listen to your feedback that you have to say and just say "I know I know" & walk away. read more

I have posted this same review on google so don't assume I'm just copying but I cant keep writing about this or I'm going to continue getting angrier the more I think about what I did. That said those feelings are outweighed by my need to inform others, so at least they will make their own informed decisions. I would however like to add that, they starting lasering my face up by the upper and not the lower edge of my cheekbones, there was no point to that and now i have brown spots on both sides that i have no idea how to get rid of. Ok lets START OFF by saying that their prices are cheap and its for a reason. Reasons, Plural. ---------I will preface this by saying that complexion is very light brown and I had thick hair on my chin, upper lip and under my chin because I started shaving them. I started these treatments last march and now almost 11 months later, most of the thickest hairs are gone, there are thinner hairs all over the place but that's what I'm settling for in place of the ......horror. --------First things first is how rude they are, while you are waiting for them to start, they will be on the phone making/taking phone calls, leaving the phone on so it goes off while you are being treated. Also they have TV's in every room connected to all their security camera's. While they are working on you, they are constantly watching that damn TV, snooping on each other or something, Where is your focus, while you are using high-powered lasers on my face?! --------They start calling everyone up saying that they have a new machine that is painless, but the truth is that depending on each individual's skin you still may feel alot of pain. I get how much uncertainty that involves so I'll give em that one. --------But when it comes to flat out lying about things that I can see on my own face, that I cannot forgive. I couldn't tell at first but quickly realized that the thin red lines across my faces were burn scars from the machine they were using (the narrower tip, non heat suction one). When I confronted them about it, they said oh it's normal! What?! On to the next problem, I started see color changes in my skin (at the top of my cheek bones) that looked like sun spots that you normally get from being in the sun and not wearing sunscreen. AKA hyperpigmentation, they were not there before i started this laser treatment let alone in the last few months, during which its been the winter season. When i confronted them about this one, she (fatmeh) said the same thing! "Oh that's normal you know everyone has brown spots on their skin naturally". .. NOT when they have only begun in the past 6 months during this lasering. ---------They are making so much money off of people like me that I have seen them add staff, furniture, tv's and plenty of decor. ---------PS even if you're fine with everything I said up there, and you just wanna get the bang for your buck, IF you have any problems with the pain, (ie you wanna get this done but your body wont let you ie movements of the face due to pain, ie anything that interferes with you ability to hold still and their ability to work with the laser) they aren't going to be to give you a moment or to comfort you or tell you how to get through it so that you can the the best results for your money. NO, they are just going to cut your session short cause you're pretty much to hard to work on. ------- THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I had with with them was how they shaved my hair!!!!!!!! First of all, they do not know how to use a razor on a woman's face. AT ALL, you do not run willy nilly all over my face in different directions (where there may or may not be thick hairs), with varied degrees of roughness, Do you know how much it burns to run a dry razor over your skin?! If you are going shave my face without any soap or gel or lubricant of any kind,, fine.. if that's the way you have to do it. BUT be conscious of how little razor use it actually takes to remove the hair and any more push than that will hurt like h**l. SECOND and most important is why would you shave areas of my skin that did not have thick hair growth or had almost no growth. That laser is only meant to work well on thick hairs anyways, so why are you going to change a single thing about any of the thin hairs. Once you start shaving those areas you have to take care of them. Oh wait I know, to make more money off me. read more

The pricing can't be beat and the services are very thorough. If you're looking for an overly fancy place to spend way too much money, this isn't the place for you. If you want to feel comfortable and in safe hands with people who appreciate your business, I'd highly recommend Fusion. THIS IS LONG BUT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING FUSION MED SPA PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE WASTING YOUR MONEY. Me and a couple of my friends started coming here about a year and a half ago. We all ended up with the same issues. Initially everything seemed to be going well. After the first or second visit i saw a little bit of change in less hair (i did the full Brazilian lazier hair removal as well as underarm). I continued to go every month to get my treatment done. If I pay in cash, its cheaper...what? (yeah..) Anyways, so I saw about 2-3 different people during my times there, some would not even do the same treatment as the other. Some would take longer, sometimes not even covering the entire area (at this point I thought maybe they were just turning up the temp and I did not need as much done that day.. but I was wrong). After the 'guaranteed' no hair after 6 months, I still had quite a bit of hair. At this point I was thinking, "it must be me.. maybe my hair is thicker than normal?.' So i proceeded to buy another 3 visits (which they were very quick to try to charge me for another full 6 sessions! I said wow do I really need 6 SESSIONS??? I told them 3 SHOULD be plenty. And again, I was wrong. After another 3 sessions I clearly stopped going. My hair started growing more and more. I could not believe. It was as if going every month was masking how much was actually still trying to grow. So after 6 months of no longer going back, I continue to have about 50% of my hair growing back. So after a few months of them trying to call me back to reschedule me to continue more sessions, I finally answered and I told them why I was no longer coming back and my frustrations with my results. They tried to give me discount on more visits! I told them no because why would I want to pay MORE MONEY to again see NO better result. Then they offered me a couple of free sessions and I told them the same thing again. Whoever I was speaking to ended up telling me that she would have to go over my chart and call me back. I agreed and waited. I never got a call back so I called the next day and again whoever I was talking to told me that they have been very busy and still haven't looked into it. I again said OK, call me back when you do. I waited 2 WEEKS. NO CALL. So, I call them back. They again tell me that whoever I am SUPPOSED to be talking to is out and will be back in 20 min and will call me back. I wait 1 HOUR. and I call them back... I am finally talking to the person I should be I guess.. and I am telling her all of this and I requested some of my $ back because they did not do the job they guaranteed... She tells me that they guarantee up to 80-90% all hair gone. I told here I have about 50-60% gone AND i bought an extra 3 sessions. She continues to tell me that they can do no refund but I can get discounted things done.... I again told her I am not going to waste any more of my time doing that and on top of it I have a 45 min drive to waste in gas if i was to go. She ended up telling me that she had to attend to someone else and didn't have any more time to talk and I told her that she had 2 weeks to call me during a time when she was not busy... and believe it or not she actually HUNG UP ON ME! Of course I called right back and got no where but I could NOT BELIEVE the disrespect and rudeness of their actions. And for all of you who have read this, I never had a bad temper or talked rude with them. I tried to treat the situation as nicely but honest as possibly.
