I scheduled an appointment for Bellafill treatment at this clinic, but my experience was disappointing. When I arrived, the RN tried to persuade me to purchase additional services beyond what I had planned. When I declined, I was told that the procedure could not be done and was asked to come back later. The explanation given was that there were many people waiting, but the lobby was empty. I was also told that I could not afford the treatment unless I spent a much larger amount, which felt misleading since the advertised price was not honored. The interaction ended abruptly, and I felt dismissed. If the clinic requires a minimum spend, that should be clearly stated upfront to avoid confusion. I come here for a variety of sessions. Samer the owner, knows her work and makes good recommendations. They are pricey compared to others but they have a lot of options. They will work with you. They use some of the best machines for laser and offer services that many places don't even have. Usually, just address your concern and they'll have a service for it. I started with a Groupon for 6 sessions to get my bikini line done. That Groupon was a steal, and I was enjoying the results so much that I asked what deals/promotions they had going on at the time. I got 6 sessions of bikini, full brazilian, legs, and underarms for under $2,000. I wish I took "before" photos because I was a HAIRY girl. Now I can't even remember what my hair on my body used to look like. It's been over half a year since I've last seen them, and my hair is still sparse, slow to grow, and fine. I got it yesterday and have minimal bruising, which has been an issue for me in the past with filler. I had been looking to make a Microneedling appointment for some time, the very reasonable Groupon coupled with the decent rating sealed the deal for me here. I traveled from Northville to Dearborn for this experience... The location is not too appealing from the outside as it is in the middle of a strip mall with excessive advertisement on the outside. I walk in, staff seemed preoccupied. Ultimately I was greeted and my skin was assessed. I was informed the Groupon I purchased would not cover the minimum recommendation for the serums required to adequately perform this service. I was told it would be $100 additional, despite the Groupon indicating it was for the service of 'Microneedling''. I agreed to the additional fee as I had already made the trip. Further assessment on the inside was very tiny rooms, almost like closets. The bed you lie down on is smashed up against the wall and your feet are pressed into the wall. Truly there is hardly room for 2 people to stand up and the bed. The Microneedling itself was painful and beyond uncomfortable. I had the thinnest layer of numbing agent spread on my face for about 15 min before I was instructed to wash it off in the bathroom sink with no towels, no wash clothes, just a pump of soap and paper towel. While washing, a client getting teeth whitening had to enter the same bathroom and spit her fluoride in the trash can. The lobby of the location had minimally 50 flyers spread out for different services. I didn't feel relaxed or comfortable I felt like the entire experience was pushing product or services with limited focus on the one I was actually there to receive. Minimal follow up care discussed with the exception of being encouraged to come back in 2 weeks for a microdermabrasion... Overall I feel as if the staff was most focused on upselling or selling additional services. The establishment itself was cluttered and very tiny. I would not return. read more

I've been getting laser hair removal since 2016 so I know how results should look. I never had to shave before a session. In my opinion you wouldn't be able to see the burned hair. I felt like she missed a lot of spots when I was there. Then My hair start growing back not even a week later. The whole purpose of laser is to burn hairs at the roots, there's no way my hair was burned I still have a full beard and only some areas don't have hair. Only went here cause it was the closest one. Don't bother. Creative math and aggressive upselling aside, I was way underdosed, got watered down botox when I asked for and paid for xeomin, got fewer units than I paid for AND they ignored me when I told them which areas I wanted treated. I indicated I wanted lift and wasn't concerned with forehead lines, but he tried to fi my forehead anyway, injected too low and my eyebrows dropped. Fortunately (I guess) I was given watered down product and the effects wore off in just six weeks, rather than the 3-4 months I would've gotten from an appropriate dose. Likewise, agreed to a light filler on upper lip only, but he said, "I'm not wasting half a syringe" and jammed the needle in my chin without warning to "give you definition." He used a thick, cheap filler not meant for lips, which dissipated almost immediately, but the lumps on my chin and jaw remain, giving me the typical, overfilled "Dearborn look." As others have indicated, they said my groupon was insufficient to cover my treatments and tried to sell me over 5 grand in add ons. Got my bill at the end and they couldn't explain anything. Said an itemized bill wasn't available as the machine was down (though it mysteriously worked to charge my card), then offered me a complimentary microneedling session to keep me quiet, I guess. They can keep the money they scammed from me because I'd rather sandpaper my own face than ever set foot in laser duet again. read more

If you look.. most of the reviews are from people with little to no history of giving reviews. I bought Botox from Groupon. I wanted my "11" treated. I went in and, of course, it was a sale to get more. I knew I did need an annual forehead lift so I agreed to have that done at the same time and an additional $170. One month later here is my result. Groupon plus $170 (Disregard the milia) The staff has contacted me and a follow up is scheduled. They have scheduled on my very small window of being available. So I go back and the staff is telling me to call them instead of reviewing..the guy (yes, the guy who is not friendly and talks about his 23 year old wife) I swear purposely leaves out boxes of open Botox to prove that's what is given... tells me he's giving me 12 units of Botox for a touch up but if that doesn't work then to go somewhere else!!! Then gives me the thing about Botox not working after a getting it regularly etc. Botox is mixed with saline. It HAS to be mixed with saline BUT how much Botox per cc of saline? Very minimal here. If it was diluted for Groupon I should have at least gotten the full mixture for my real money I paid on top of the Groupon. I WILL go somewhere else. And complain to Groupon. I have a few great places to go to and prove that they are diluting the Botox because my results have always been great. And I will post HERE with my picture after going to a real place. One word, "lack of acting in Good Faith". I am taking the time to whole-heartedly review Laser Duet in hopes that what was done to me will never be done to another. Biggest mistake and the greatest lesson learned. Let me be clear, they seemed like pleasant people with somewhat of an aim for professionalism and customer satisfaction--however, this was not the case with me. First, their dishonest intent was recognized when they upsold me a service package costing over $3,000 without any good intent of providing me with other available options. A business approach to try to increase their profit which would be alright except when their intent was to knowingly misguide their new client by getting me to buy the most expensive package. When yet another attempt to mislead me was by upselling a service provided by an UNLICENSED and INEXPERIENCED aesthetician claiming otherwise, this was a shame on you to the owner. And shame on me for failing to do my due diligence to ensure I was in good hands. A long story short, the service provided not only distorted my face PERMANENTLY, it caused me tremendous amounts of heartache and distress. After given some professional advice by a licensed and reputable facility, I spent several hundred dollars more to try and fix their mistake. Today, I still have scars to remind me how important it is to be absolutely sure in every way possible before allowing anyone to carry out a procedure on you without proper certification. When I contacted Laser Duet's rep to politely complain of my concerns, she stood her ground by negating the whole situation. Over and over she insulted my intelligence by stating that the procedure looked very good; and that the countless people who had negative opinions about it didn't know what they were talking about. She had no regard to what I was feeling, and rather than showing her customer the sympathy I deserved, she continued to blow it off like it was no concern to her in a very passive aggressive way. Lastly, their LACK OF ACTING IN GOOD FAITH was what topped it all off. Despite my modesty and mild manner, her response to a distressful individual was to make known that a refund, even in partial, was out of her hands. And even more upsetting and insulting, she agreed to throw in a small complimentary service for my troubles. No matter how much pain and anguish they caused, nothing could reverse this and make it better. SO.... LASER DUET, you can keep all my FREE money that you refused to return in good faith for unrendered services. Basically, because of what was done to me, I refuse to return to receive services provided by your facility... Therefore, I chose to forfeit over $3 thousand dollars of hard earned money I had advanced to your facility for agreed services over placing myself in yet another predicament with this faulty facility. LASER DUET handled this sensitive matter POORLY through money and GREED! Your business deserves to be in the hall of shame. A successful business means treating someone the way you would like to be treated...Going over and beyond for your customers... and Making an important moment really count for the customer! read more

I wrote a review before this one actually 2 reviews. First time I came I loved my lips got the Revaness. He is amazing. Went got second cc. Loved them, called him Dr.Lips. Then after a couple days it was gone. So I thought I got robbed, because I've been getting fillers since I was 25 in my lips , everywhere. This had never happened. I called my girls back home that did my lips. They said it's because I need Juverderm, what I've always used for my lips. I have a fast metabolism even at my age.So Revanesse is great , but not for me at least not my lips. But for anywhere else. Amazing job I'm so happy again! Happy to know I was wrong. I just completed my series of laser hair removal treatments on my legs, underarms, and bikini area and am really happy with my results. I have fine blonde hair on my legs which has been drastically reduced and I don't need to shave my underarms at all anymore. I went to several other med spas in Dallas before moving back to Detroit and the laser they use here is the least painful one I've experienced - it's like a tiny snap. I had 1 micro-derm and 1 micro-needling here at Laser Duet. I had them 2 weeks apart. Samar did both procedures and did a very, very excellent job. The micro-needling was my first time and I was a little nervous, but Samar was gentle and it didn't hurt at all. Bought a groupon for Botox. This place looks like a tanning salon. Ladies in the front were lovely, but I immediately felt skeptical. The guy that does Botox had a baseball hat on, filthy scrubs, and the room was a hot mess. Red flag red flag. Then he lectured me on how what I bought in groupon wouldn't be sufficient & would need to buy 150$ more to get results. I'm 32 & been getting Botox since I was 29 at dermatologist & plastic surgeon offices in upscale areas....this guy insisted they must be injecting me with water (ummmm okay lol) and informed me he injects his 23 yr old wife with 40 units...the entire thing was SHADY and I ran for the hills. After successfully doing the laser hair removal (which I recommend), I recently tried out the new Zerona technology and the results were minimal if at all :( I signed up for the initial 6 treatment package over 2 weeks and strictly followed the "drinks lots of water and eat 6 small protein snacks a day" suggestion. I'm about 5"10 and weigh 148 pounds and was hoping to tighten a few problem areas, not loose tons of weight. Sumar seemed shocked that I wasn't noticing a difference after 3-4 treatments and started suggesting I may need to purchase another package? In the end I didn't notice anything, my pants still all fit the same and the best indicator - I didn't lose ANY weight. Sumar took measurements before and after claiming that I had lost .5" here and .75" there... but honestly I don't feel anything. So even though I was told people much smaller than me have amazing results... I left less than pleased without any money back guarantee. Lesson learned. I wouldn't waste my money. read more

After my first session, about 50% of my hair was gone and it only continued to diminish from there. The service was pretty painless and the staff is so caring and friendly. They really take their time and do a wonderful job. It's so nice not to have to shave anymore. Leyla performed most of my sessions. You will not be disappointed with her! First of all she charged me an arm and a leg for my face that I didn't even need a new session because I already finished my 6 session when I lived in New Jersey. Also the place I went to in New Jersey was the best I've ever been to and I'm pretty sad I had to leave and find a place like laser duet I would literally leave the place with my face looking like I got beat up. Scars and bruises also I did not see results whatsoever I would leave laser duet within a week and already see hair growing back as a matter of fact when I do leave laser duet I still see patches of hair all over my face. Honestly the worst place ever and I totally regret paying sooo much but like I said I was desperate. I also don't ever leave nasty reviews but I don't want people to go through this horrible experience like I did so look at it like I'm saving your time and money.
