However, upon calling to schedule my appointment I was informed politely by Kelly that the groupon is only for upper or lower legs (despite groupon listing it as a medium area) and that should I want my full legs done I would need to pay a $100 upgrade fee. She stated that it was a mistake on groupons part. I have gone back onto groupon and THE SAME EXACT GROUPON is still being listed showing "full legs" as a large area. Therefore, I highly doubt that it is a mistake on groupons part. Anyway, I scheduled an appointment and it was canceled several times. Very displeased. Tried to get a refund through Groupon but she had redeemed it despite me NEVER HAVING BEEN THERE! That is unacceptable and wrong. ADDENDUM: Kelly, this was a review I had created waaay back when I lived in Michigan but I never posted. Today I went through all my unposted reviews and posted them. THIS IS NOT FALSE WHATSOEVER. I very specifically recall all the details and everything I have written is 100% accurate and true. Unfortunately. And as you can see you did redeem my Groupon though I never saw you for treatment.

The lights were never dimmed. I was directed to lay down on the table. No gown, no remove your shoes, just lay on the table. The "ethician" then cleansed my skin, there was no steam, no extractions, no machines, no eye makeup removal, nothing. Then layers of products. This all took approximately 20 minutes. Shortest facial ever. I found out that the person doing this was not a licensed esthetician, and that she was being trained by the owner. Then the owner does not know what a facial amounts to. This place may be good for other services, but not facials. Very disappointed. Awful.

She used Dermalogica products. Throughout the entire experience, there is relaxing spa music played and the lights are off. Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you.
