Nbd wasn't stressed at that point because the bartender was super busy. I work in food service I get that.. Then the rest of the food came out and we were never checked on again for the next 20 minutes while we ate. Would have loved to bring up the fact that this chicken wing was completely RAW.. put it out by the card just waiting for the bartender to notice us/the chicken wing and she never did so we just paid and left. Hoping we don't get sick. The rest of the wings were cooked we just so happened to bust into to this one last.. Again I get it if you're absolutely slammed but just felt like we were getting completely ignored for no reason. We were polite so not sure what the deal was.

Gone was the old cigarette smoke-filled and alcohol-fueled hazy look of the Golden Q of yesteryear and in its place is a semi-recently remodeled and expanded Golden Q... one that is now CLEAN, smoke free and includes a couple of back rooms, tons of tvs and a back patio. You can still drink your choice of alcohol (it's encouraged,) you can still play pool if you want and most importantly, you can still enjoy a Q Burger (or your burger of choice,) but you don't have to feel bad about bringing some underage members of the family during the afternoon to watch the game of your choice. My wife searched for a local place to try and picked Cattleman's Cafe III. We pulled into Hays around 11 a.m., only to realize the restaurant didn't open until 11:30, so we drove around town for a little while before heading back. Once we went in, we were greeted by a very nice young lady who seated us right away and took our drink order. We both had iced tea. My wife ordered the pot roast with a side salad, and I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. When the food arrived, everything looked amazing. My wife said the pot roast was so tender it was falling apart while she cut it. My chicken fried steak was the same way -- honestly tender enough to cut with a fork. The first bite was excellent. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and corn were also very good, and my wife really enjoyed her meal as well. This place was excellent, and we are very glad we decided to stop here. Even the local people sitting next to us were friendly and enjoyable to talk with, which made the experience even better. It's always nice to learn something new and meet good people while traveling. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop in again for another meal.

I use Tiger Burgers as my Sunday treat. I have to work on Sundays so it is SUPER NICE that they deliver!!!!! This past Sunday it was snowing in Hays and they still came in 30 minutes as promised. Needless to say, but I will say it anyway.The young woman who delivered my super yummy Mac of Oz burger got a significantly larger tip. The food is AWESOME and the service is EVEN MORE AWESOME!!!!! Case in point Gari recognized my phone number and just said hello Monica!!!!! I am so glad to write this review because it really is as good as it gets. I can see why this restaurant has received 5 stars! The food is outstanding! We had the Paella Valenciana, the wings, street corn, Ramen, and the burger. Everything was delicious, especially the Pealla Valenciana. The service was also on point. All the staff was so accommodating and we were personally served by the owner.
