Ordered $70 worth of food, 3 of which were chicken and rice bowls that were so HOT and SPICY that we each took one bite and our mouths were on FIRE and we all started sweating and became extremely sick to our stomachs. We've had the chicken and rice bowl in the past and it never tasted like that and was always really delicious which is why I recommended ordering it for my out of town relatives that were here visiting. I went onto the Fusion website to order and nowhere in the description or anywhere else regarding the chicken and rice bowl did it indicate that it was a spicy dish. All other items listed on the menu indicated if the dish was spicy or not. So I called Fusion to figure out if something had been changed in the chicken and rice bowl that made it so hot we couldn't eat it. The guy at the restaurant said nothing had been changed and that the creamy togarashi sauce is one of the spiciest sauces they have. If that would have been noted when ordering the chicken and rice bowl obviously I would of had it taken out of the dish, but again there was no indication that the dish or any of the ingredients would catch your mouth on fire. I did also go to "create your own bowl" on the menu and AGAIN under sauces there was nothing to indicate the CREAMY togarashi sauce was spicy. I asked the guy at Fusion if my husband could bring the 3 chicken and rice bowls back and have them remade without the creamy togarashi sauce so we could have dinner to eat and he said we can't do that because the error wasn't our fault. Seriously??? Why would I intentionally order over $30 in food that no one could even eat? Is that a common thing that people do? How about fix your menu advising that either the dish or the sauce is spicy so the next person doesn't have the same problem that the restaurant will refuse to fix. I think they have a great concept. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of my "create your own" roll and satisfied after eating it. They also have a great selection of unique and delicious beverages. The employees were very friendly. Jonathan made my roll and he was kind, helpful and patient. Unfortunately I'm not rating the food at this location. It's good I'm sure. This was my first time going here and it was immediately awful. The girl that was in charge of the wrap and rice was inexplicably rude. They don't have name badges but she has brassy reddish brown hair and wore glasses. I couldn't believable how she spoke to me. I said hi and started to list what I wanted. She started waving her hands and in a horrifically rude tone said she's not going to remember anything I just said-what wrap and rice and meat do you want. I almost just wanted to turn and walk out. However the girl in charge of putting vegetables on the roll was nice. Whether the food is good or not, at this point doesn't matter, I won't be returning. Whole foods is next door and there are dozens of sushi places I can get take out. Shame on this place for having a person like that work there. read more

Honestly this one star review isn't far bc I've been here 30 times and 29 times was 5 stars. Except this one. Long story short, I was trying to explain to the employee what I wanted in line. Put my hand about 4 inches past the glass and the employee says "sir hand behind the glass please." You would think I was about to touch the Mona Lisa the way he said this. Which makes no sense, the glass is so tall you'd never be able to touch the food. Their whole damn bodies are behind the glass, they don't wash hands yet I can't put a finger behind the glass without getting a "SIR HAND BEHIND THE GLASS." I replied "what did I just contaminate the food."The worst part was this employee stared me and my family down the whole time we dined in. He made it very obvious he was annoyed with me. He then ran to an employee sitting in the lobby. Pointed at me. Shook his head and was whispering to the employee in the lobby about me. It was very uncomfortable. read more

Miso soup tastes like sucking on a green onion. Sushi is not anything like what you'd expect if you like good sushi. They don't clean the roll cutter so raw and cooked are cross contaminated. No high chairs, not kid friendly seating. read more

I'm elated I actually finally stopped in to see what this place was about. It's simple like chipotle. I like you get to pick all the yummy things you want In your sushi roll. They have either soy or regular seaweed to choose from, and your proteins some raw fish and crab and mixed crab just wish it wasn't imitation crab :( also smoked tofu for the vegetarians! veggies there were green onions, spinach, carrots, asparagus, cucumber, avacado and also cream cheese. They also have a wide variety of sauces to choose from I got the spicy and it was amazing!!!! I even got an order to go after I downed the heck out of the sushi I ordered to eat there!!!! The sushi here was better than sushi from grocery stores like Kroger, but not a lot better. I can get better sushi from Sake for the same price, if not cheaper. If other people wanted to go here to eat I would join them, but I wouldn't go by my own choice. read more

Went into the Miamisburg location and ordered my usual. The same gentleman who makes my roll every time made it once again today. He typically does a decent job but today gave me not even half of the amount or chicken or crab. When the person I was with spoke up about it the cashier was very kind and asked another associate because he was unsure of portion sizes. The associate who he had asked was the gentleman who made my roll. I then went on to tell him he had made it for me nearly every time I've went in and it had never looked this way before. The manager then came over and had told me the cut down on portion sizes and asked if I had wanted it to be remade. I said yes and he had the associate who made it the first time remake it which was not a problem. When my friend and I walked away to wait for my food the manager then very loudly told the associate that he was right and to just go ahead and remake it. I do not believe in the customer always being right but I thought that was kind of rude. When the gentleman came to hand me my food I held my hand out and he tossed it on the table beside me. The assembly-line style that has become so popular with places like Subway and Chipotle has now arrived for sushi. I loved the process in which they dispensed the rice evenly onto the seaweed (or soy) wrapper, loaded it up with fruits/veggies and proteins of your choice, sauces, and rolled it with the bamboo mat before using this cool little device to cut it into perfect little slices. The different types of exotic-sounding lemonades also made my first experience at Fusian a good one. The only suggestion I would have would be to add eel to the list of meats, alongside the chicken, fish, and shrimp already offered. Another great addition could be to have onigiri as an additional option for ordering. read more

I am from Beavercreek, OH and ever since the Fusian location in Beavercreek has opened I have grown to love Fusian so much. Not only because the food is AMAZING but because of the atmosphere and the people, I always have excellent service at the Beavercreek location. I always talk Fusian up to my family who live in the Dayton Mall area. This past Sunday they finally agreed to give it a shot, especially because I am a picky eater, I hate seafood, and I never shut up about how amazing Fusian is! We went to the Centerville location because it is the closest location to them. There were 6 of us who got food from there ($80), we had the most awful experience at this location. My mom and sister who were first time guest say they will never return. I am personally upset because of how we were all treated and I hate that their first time experience was awful and their overall experience was ruined! It started as soon as we walked in the door and got up to order. The lady starting the orders kept mentioning how she was off at 3:00pm, which it was 3:00pm at that time. We had 6 orders and 3 of them we wanted roasted chicken. Hatefully she mentioned the roasted chicken would be 3 minutes, we agreed that it was okay we would wait. She seemed very irritated with us and we were honestly confused on what we did because we honestly just came in as any other customer would to order food. Another order i had, he wanted half salmon and half shrimp. She looked directly at me as I was ordering and put tofu and salmon on the roll. I expressed to the other girl standing there I did not order tofu, the lady who originally put it on the roll started giggling. We waited for over 5 minutes for the roasted chicken to get done, when we got home with our food none of the 3 orders were roasted chicken, it was plain white chicken and 2 of our rolls were missing ingredients that we requested. Before we left the the restaurant I asked for a side of spicy mayo and the lady slammed the side of mayo down in front of me very hatefully. I asked another girl who was working at this time what the lady at the ends name was and she said her name was Becky, I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and she told me she was the manager. As we were leaving I said to Becky have a nice day and she did not look at me or say anything back to me as any employee should, especially as the manger!!!!!!! Personally as a business owner, an assistant manager, and someone who has always worked in customer service Becky should not be working FOH period. She was very rude the entire time to us for absolutely no reason at all, she completely ruined the experience for us and I can say we will never return to that location again. I will continue to always go to the Beavercreek location and spend my money there because I have never experienced anything but wonderful service there. I truly suggest rethinking your management team at the Centerville location, I highly doubt we are the first customers Becky has treated this way even spending $80. She is not a friendly face, even her co-workers seemed miserable and afraid to speak and be personal with the customers. Honestly, it was just an overall bad experience that I hope nobody ever has to go through. I love Fusian. The locations I frequent in Columbus and Cincinnati are wonderful. However, this Fusian in Centerville was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant wasn't nearly as clean as others I've visited. Some of the staff was friendly, but others were not. Half of my friends roll was falling apart and many ingredients were running low. Not to mention, when we sat down, one employee was yelling and singing obnoxiously. As a frequent Fusian flyer, this location needs to step it up.
