We were around the beaches of the gulf of Florida and find this excellent place at Sarasota with poke Excellent decision to head to this place and try the best poke bowl around that area We drive about 2 hrs drive and we don't regret it Food was amazing read more

Super quick and yummy food! The staff is very friendly and patient if it's your first time here, also very gluten free friendly! They have a gluten free menu, lots of options, and gluten free soy sauce bottles you can bring to the table with you. Not sure if it's all celiac friendly, but works great for my wheat allergy. I got a poke bowl with tofu and my sister got the chicken bao buns. Would come again! read more

Good lunch spot with decent bowls, Ramen and buns. Very clean and eco friendly atmosphere and you get to customize - build your own bowl. Even have a quiet reading area and urn of lemon water. We've enjoyed the Aloha Salmon bowl, pork tonkotsu and tempura shrimp buns. read more

We tried this out the other day, it was extremely good. I had the salmon bowl. It's kinda like Chipotle style where you can add things to your bowl. Brown rice, kale, kimchi, Salmon, scallions, spicy mayo, etc. They have happy hour buns for 2 for $5 but we were there early and I'm not eating meat, only seafood. read more

Overall: I hear the owner is from Hawaii, which makes sense because this is the best poke I've had outside of the islands. The quality ingredients and variety of flavors is awesome. I love the Chipotle-style (choose your base, protein, and toppings) ordering. There also were a variety of alcoholic beverages available for purchase (wine/beer). Customer service was excellent: very personable and the person taking our order was very sensitive and knowledgable regarding my friend's questions to help her find things she can eat that are safe for people with gluten allergies. Environment: love the upbeat, indie pop/rock music. There are three couches in the back, some manga and books, games (scrabble, connect 4, what do you meme, social sabotage, cards against humanity, and a couple others). Towards the front there are regular tables/chairs. Very minimalist, modern decor. Comfortable and fun environment to hang out in. Recommendation: I loved what I ordered - base (half kale/half soba noodles), protein (salmon), sauces (wasabi avocado & spicy mayo), toppings (extra ginger, scallions, edamame, cucumber noodles, furikake, togarashi, sesame seeds) and add-ins (kimchi pickles, radish, masago, seaweed salad). They also had some sriracha next to the napkins/silverware that I added in too. read more

Pleasantly surprised. I ordered a tuna poke bowl and tonkotsu ramen through postmates. Poke bowl was good - fresh tuna and decent amount of sides. The star of the show tho was the ramen. The pork belly was so tender and fatty (which is a pro for me ). It literally melts in your mouth but the sides were seared (?? ) enough for it to be crispy. I'm only visiting STQ so coming from a biiiiiig city with lots of poke and ramen places, I was surprised with the taste and quality. Next time we're ordering the pork belly buns read more

It's pretty darn good. Hits the spot when your craving a ramen bowl and you want it fast. I got the spicy bowl and it was extremely delicious. It was the perfect spice level. Lots of flavor and kick to it. I would eat it again tomorrow. read more

Best Asian food I've had in SWFL hands down! Reminds me of food in CA. I'll be coming back!

Great ramen and pork boas here. Small joint never ate inside but have ordered which that wasn't the best experience so everytime I just come pick it up and def worth the price read more

We were not only a 8 minute walk from our hotel, the environment was amazing it just so happened we had Fred & Alyssa & they were both so welcoming & informative and took the time to explain the menus to us! Our friends had recommended this place literally last week because they love it, So we were super excited to try! very pleased with the service & people/food ! we also got the chicken buns! Ugh they were so good! Anywho, this place is awesome, it's worth a try! read more

We tried this place on a whim while driving downtown. Glad we did. The food was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. One of our party got the ramen, and that took a minute or two to come out, and it was super. Quite a lot of food. I had the 'Spicy' favorite and it had so much flavor. read more

Delicious and fresh but fairly small servings for the price. Numerous options/ combos hard to know what you're doing.

My wife and I went to Hawaii last year and got introduced to poke bowls. We haven't found a place locally that made bowls like the ones we had. When we came across this place we were excited to try it out. When we saw and tasted the final product it transported us back! The tuna was beautiful in color and really fresh. The atmosphere is really great too - the owners put a lot of thought into the design of this place. We will definitely be back soon! read more

I have been wanting to try this place since it first opened. It took me a while but it was totally worth the wait! The tuna was really fresh, and I like the idea of being able to make your own bowl. It's like being able to make your own sushi roll minus the role. It's perfect. I'll be back read more

I had never eaten poké before coming here, so I have no comparison, but this place is amazing! We had a poké bowl with salmon and tuna and all the toppings. I loved the eel sauce and spicy mayo. It has a modern, clean atmosphere and I will definitely be back soon. read more

Service was amazing! Everyone was so nice. The food was incredible. They let you pick out each ingredient in the poke bowls, which I thought was very nice. I had the Shoyu ramen, and when I asked for no chili oil or shiitake mushrooms, they said of course. They seemed to have many regulars, and were friendly with everyone. They also had a variety of Asian candy to choose from in a display wall, as well as some sodas. Overall, the restaurant was very quiet and friendly. The environment was extremely nice to just stop and take a break throughout the day. You had to clear your own dishes after dinner, which to some people might be annoying, but it was very grounding and I enjoyed doing it. read more

The place is nice and quaint, menu is a bit vague and staff wasn't the most informative when asked questions. I got a small bowl with tuna and salmon and the one bowl comes out to be $20? I'm confused because my mind wasn't blown as far as the taste of the bowl. read more

The place is clean , bar looks fresh. I got the what's suppose to be fresh Tuna but some bute were frozen!!. Staff not very helpful supper in a hurry when filling up a bowl thar 3/4 base and 1/4 Topping which end up costing you $20.00 very pricey for not a so great taste. read more

So disappointed with the food! We ordered 4 poke bowls to go. The tuna bowls had no flavor at all and the other 2 bowls had salmon that was not fresh. Salmon was not eatable, rotten smell. Also pricey, 70 bucks for 4 poke bowls to go read more

Great ramen, broth was not overpowering and the little bun rolls were delicious. The sauce on the mushroom bun rolls was a little sweeter than I would have liked but they were still hot and tasty. Simple and clean decor read more

This place is spot on with their food and the quality. Came here one night right before they were closing and we still got great service and the food was super fresh! Such a fun cool vibe at this place. Great spot and will definitely be back read more

Fushipoke is one of my favorite places to go in Sarasota. Amazing poke bowls and ramen that are extremely flavorful. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. One thing that I really like about Fushipoke other than the restaurant aspect of it, is that they also sell a lot of Japanese goods that you can't really find anywhere else in the area. They sell a variety of Ramune products, Japanese imported beers and saki, fruit juices, and Japanese chips/snacks/candy. read more

Simple, fresh, and fast! Fushipoke is a great option for take out- especially during the pandemic - because it provides a healthier alternative to any drive through or pizza place. Poke is super filling compared to your average sushi roll and you pay about the same price for a lot more food. Of course, it tastes good too. Even the Tofu protein option for the poke is tasty. Fushipoke also serves bao and ramen, if poke isn't your thing. read more

The salmon was very fresh, worth the price to me. The ponzu added a delicate citrusy, salty flavor and really tied it all together. There is a large board on the side wall with all of the offerings, so there is less pressure to know exactly what you want when going up to order. A wide array of toppings and add-ons, which is great to really customize your bowl to your liking. The spicy tuna cost extra, which they tell you ahead of time. The service was excellent-- the person at the counter was very friendly and happy to answer any questions about toppings and give recommendations. I did takeout, though the interior was very clean and lovely. There are a few spots in front of the shop that offer 2 hr street parking. My ONLY complaint is that they served this on hot rice, when I think poke is best served on cooled rice. Especially because I had a 20 minute car ride, by the time I ate, the fish had become somewhat warm. Still good though and would come again! Best poke I've had in the Sarasota area so far. read more

Just had an amazing lunch at Fushipoke today. Their poke bowls are the best we've found outside of Hawaii (we live in the NYC metro area). They get their Hawaiian tuna daily from Hawaii, and it makes a huge difference. Toppings are fresh and delicious and rice texture is perfect -- makes huge a difference. Ramen was also excellent and very filling as well. Good portion sizes -- you won't leave hungry. Service is very friendly and efficient! read more
