This is like the Geek Squad of electrical contractors. Try talking to them and you get an offshore call center reading a script at you. They don't actually solve problems, they just have a bunch of inexperienced, disposable kids upselling package deals with fake coupons that you don't want or need because a full replacement of everything in sight takes much less skill than actually diagnosing anything. You'll see their flashily-branded trucks in the Lowe's and Home Depot parking lots at all hours of the day and they are absolutely passing those full retail prices on to you. Even the photos of the conduit work they themselves post is utterly embarrassing. Half of it looks like they just strapped some scraps from some other, completely unrelated job up to the wall and called it a day. read more

requested a diagnostic on my heater on Friday. it was not heating but the fan and all of the other functions were working fine. The technician came out and said that the as valve was not working. I was told that the replacement and repair would be $500+ minus the diagnostic fee of $75. I said that I was ging to get at least one more bid before making a decision. When he left I noticed that a couple lights wern't on that were before he came. He said not to worry about it and left. I later went to turn on the fan and found that it would not work. I assumed he deactivated it during the diagnostic test. I called the copany to have him come back and reconnect my fan. The company took my complant and did not send anyone out. I called at least 5 time to get my fan back on with no success. I was even told over the phone that maybe the best way to have the fan back on would be to accecpt thier estimate. I thought this was blackmail and became very angry. I asked to talk to a manager and was told no one would be available until Monday and some one would call me in the morning. No one contacted me. I would not recommend them and do not trust them to take care of my business. BE CAREFUL. i DO NOT BELIEVE THEM TO BE AN ETHICAL COMPANY. read more

I asked bathroom ventilation to install pipe that should connect with the end of the roof through the attic, they quickly inspect and find solution, very good job! Fuse has very prompt and transparent communication with customers. I've called for service several times (a few times in SJ and once in South SF) and it is consistently a great experience. Typically they give a window of when their staff will arrive and when I requested an early arrival, I got exactly that. They do their best to accomodate which I appreciate. Roman did an excellent job replacing a breaker on my panel. He showed up exactly on time and did a good job without taking too much time. I got emailed a receipt very promptly from their team after work was done. I highly recommend Fuse, their staff know how to get the job done and they really value their customer service! The company was great with communication to the point when my electrician was dispatched I could track his arrival like an Uber. It's these convenient little things that add up when communicating in these busy times. Sam was dispatched, quickly assessed my setup, and worked with me to get the best location for my level 2 charger. He was very knowledgeable and fielded all my questions and took the time to explain to me the whole process. I appreciated that. The pricing was so reasonable that I decided to abandon my plans of a self install and let the pros do it. And I am glad I did as he was able to set it up a better way than I was thinking. I had initially reached out to Fuse to get a quote to replace a gas furnace with another gas furnace. They suggested getting a Mitsubishi heat pump instead and I am so happy that they made that suggestion. We have now air conditioning as well and the heat pump is so much better for the environment given the temperate climate here. The sales team was incredibly patient in answering the questions I had and were flexible to schedule my install. The install took two days and there was a couple issues that we ran into but the team sent back a technician for an additional day and everything was resolved. The permits and rebates took a little longer to figure out, but those came through in due time too! Highly recommend Fuse and Heat pumps to anyone looking to make the change! read more

It was the day before Thanksgiving, and we are having 16 people over. I boiled a pot of water in the Krup's electric tea kettle, and then 3 of the 4 sockets in the kitchen stopped working. I panicked. Fuse was able to send out Alex, and he worked very hard for over 2 hours figuring out the problem. On top of 2 of the outlets failing, another outlet had the black and white wires reversed in the wall probably since the house was built, and it really added a monkey wrench in getting everything working properly. It was amazing that Alex finally figured everything out, and he didn't have to tear open the walls to fix the wiring. He saved Thanksgiving. Awesome. read more

Emergency care at reasonable price. Our furnace stopped working and I first called a different company. They were unable to solve the problem but still wanted a hefty fee. I stumbled on to FUSE via the YELP site. An individual came to my house after hours; 60+ min later the problem was solved. The fee was $50 more than the first HVAC contractor who stayed 15 minutes and said that maybe I needed an electrician, not being able to deduce that the furnace needed a new fuse.
