Tried Fusabowl recently and overall, the flavors were definitely there. I tried the steak sandwich, and while it was good, there was just a bit too much sauce going on. Between the yum-yum and the teriyaki, everything was pretty drenched, which kind of overpowered some of the other flavors. I also tried one of their sushi rolls (can't remember which one!), but I do remember that it was actually pretty good--nice texture, good balance, and enjoyable overall. The real stars of the visit, though, were the fruit teas. I can't even remember the exact flavors I ordered, but I do remember loving them. Refreshing, flavorful, and honestly something I'd come back just for. Overall, Fusabowl delivers tasty food with bold flavor--just maybe ask them to go lighter on the sauces. We LOVE Fusabowl! The inside is very casual but we usually do takeout. The service is quick and we have never had any issues with our orders. The food is delicious and always cooked perfectly. My go to is a tofu bowl and a spring roll, but they also have great sushi rolls and the fusa chips are delicious! Please never change!! read more

It's great there's a place that has cheap sushi rolls and tasty spring rolls, but it SUUUUUUUUCKS when they haphazardly make the sushi rolls (which is like 50% of the time). The salad was fresh and crisp and I was pleasantly surprised that it had slices of avocado. The hibachi bowl was just the right amount of sauce and seasoning, tasted fresh, not over sauced. I was a bit skeptical about this place so I never ordered from here, however,now that I love very close to one of the locations I decided to give it a try. I've ordered from here several times now, and I love it every time. They always get my order right and the service is very quick and efficient. I found the food at fusabowl pretty disappointing. The food was made to order and you get to add whatever you want in the bowl but I found the flavors bland. Although, because the food is customizable, it can be made healthier which is a positive. Another negative was the restaurant was cluttered with boxes. Called the restaurant to complain, got an attitude from the guy on the phone. I don't live here so getting a refund is not likely. Welp this use to be my go to spot when I wanted something quick and healthy until today. The amount of time I had to wait for my food was crazy considering there was only 2 people in front of me. I could understand the wait if the line was out the door. But, since that was not the case and the food is cooked to order and in the order of the orders are taken there is no excuse. The only explanation is that they must of gave the person in front of me my order because, my order ended up coming out after the 2 ladies behind me that placed their order after me. Even they had a puzzled look on their faces wondering why their food was done before mine. When I inquired about the wait I was told because they were adding extra veggies since I asked for no rice. However, the veggies was portioned when my order was taken and it wasn't until I said something about the wait they realized they made a mistake and quickly threw together my order AGAIN!!! Nothing says rainy day better than picking up food, sitting in your jammies, and watching a good show. In today's rainy weather, I decided to order some asian bowl. I had my eyes on Fusabowl for a long time, and today I went with it. Fusabowl has a big selection of bowls and sushi rolls and you can also custom create it with ingredients and sauces of your choice. It's a good deal for under $8. I wanted to try a Poke bowl since forever and ordered a custom veggie poke bowl with brocolli, onions, carrots, avocado in teriyaki and ginger sauce. It took like 5 minutes to be packed, and it smelled really, really good. In my first impression, I was very impressed that they use a bio-degradable box. I appreciate when a restaurant makes amends, however small, to be environment friendly. I'm more likely to come back just seeing this. After cleaning the bowl, I can say that the food was SPLENDID. The veggies were fresh and tasty, fused extremely well with the sauces. I personally liked the teriyaki more. The ginger was a little too gingery for me. But I signed up for that. The sushi rice was correctly cooked, but the bowl has a lot more rice than I anticipated or wanted. I guess I could alter that while ordering next time. Overall, I was impressed and I'd return. This place is hugely underrated maybe because of the plethora of options around. But, I hope to see it work! read more

This was my first visit and last! Stopped at the Woodlawn business and placed an order to go. I was watching him make my rolls. Got the California roll that was suppose to have tuna and salmon on it. Next was the eel roll. Got home and I got 4 small strips, 2 each of tuna and salmon, on 10 pieces with the California. I got more avocado then raw fish. Next was the eel. I was still looking for the eel in my 10 pieces but got to thinking maybe they were thinking it was Easter and I was to go hunting around for the eel. Fusabowl is a pretty decent place to get your poke/sushi fix! This experience is based on a delivery order, so I cannot comment on an in-store experience. Fusabowl's prices seemed just a little high, but they were running a promotion on BOGO sushi rolls. So we decided to dive in! We were super impressed with the quality + flavors. I've also had their bowls before, which feel like a moderately healthy way of getting filling meal. You could definitely make two meals out of it (or binge it all in one sitting). Terrible customer service. Used grub hub to order food.... Error message didn't process the order on the app so the order was never confirmed. Placed again, same thing. So I was charged twice. Went into the store the next morning to get a Refund and was told to call grub hub. Called them, they called fusabowl and was denied a refund because the food was made. Then I got a menu in the mail and was delighted to see that it had a coupon. Wow - a great incentive to order again! Then I looked at the fine print - the coupon expired on 12/31/21, and I received it on 01/20/22. I doubt that it took three weeks to arrive. Instead someone made the decision to keep mailing old menus. This made me wonder if the menu itself is even accurate - are the prices and selection the same? I ordered sushi for lunch today from this place, and I really wish I hadn't. Everything just seemed to be off. The spicy mayo wasn't balanced, the rice was the wrong texture, half the rolls were falling apart, and the whole box didn't smell very good. Almost like cigarettes, which was really weird and off-putting to me. When I opened the containers it was as if someone had been smoking. So strange. It was unappetizing and wasn't very good tasting either. Great service with good food! My boyfriend and I went here and both got the bundle deal. For $10 you get a hibachi bowl, 5 sushi pieces, an egg roll and a drink! The value was great! I almost wish my boyfriend and I had split one bundle because it was so much food! There was an excellent selection of protein for the hibachi and NO UPCHARGE!
