Luz TLC PET Services is the very BEST in all of Brooklynn, without exception! This is not my first…read morereview for Luz but, I knew it was time for an updated review. Luz has been taking care of our dogs for the past thirteen years. Sadly, two passed from cancer. When they were sick Luz treated them with the exceptional, gentle, loving care. When it was "their time" Luz rushed to be with us at the veterinarians office. Luz wanted to say her goodbye's because they adored her. Not only is Luz there for our dogs and us in good times, she is with us through the grief. Luz will always be considered a part of our family. It made such a difference that Luz was with us to say her goodbyes and share her love with them and with us. I will never forget Luz's true compassion for our dogs. Luz made both of their lives fuller, happier, sharing her love and of course, always keeping them safe. Now, Luz takes care of Bella. How lucky Bella is to have Luz, how lucky and blessed we are to have Luz. Bella is young and Luz helps guid her during adventures and walks. . Luz has so much patience, love and knows how to read what Bella needs. She teaches her to be a better, more balanced, more socialized, better trained pup. Bella is over the moon when she knows that it's her special time with Luz, she can't contain her excitement. If a dog could do cartwheels Bella would! As a pet mom, there is nothing more meaningful than knowing that your dogs are not only safe, but genuinely happy, loved and, excited when you are apart from them. Every single time, when Bella goes out with Luz and returns home, Bella has a laggy kill and you can see the joy in her face. If yelp let you rate with more then five 's, Luz TLC Pet Service deserves 100 stars! I couldn't possibly recommend Luz more highly! I have seen how Luz. treats for other dogs and cats, that are her clients. Luz loves them all and treats them like they are her own. Thank you Luz, for everything you do for our dogs. If you want someone incredibly special and professional and can always trust to care for your dog or cat, look no further. Luz is the best.

We found out our cat Winston had stage four kidney disease back in December 2025, right before all…read moreof our holiday travel. He'd need daily IV fluids and a variety of medicines mixed in with his food. We were fortunate enough to be recommended Luz's services by our vet, and ever since, I can't imagine trusting the care of our cat (and future pets) to anyone else. We have had Luz take care of Winston a few more times since then, and each time she has handled him with love. She knows how to build up trust with pets very quickly, and can get them to take whatever medications they need--particularly impressive with ours, needing fluids that must be delivered via IV--because she showers them with authentic affection; talking with them, giving them treats, and spending time with them. I also appreciated that Luz will send updates, including photos, while you are traveling. Not every pet caretaker does that, and it's always both a relief and a nice surprise. Relatedly, she takes the time to come and meet you and your pets before taking care of them, and I think this goes a long way to building a strong bond. The "TLC" in her business's name is not an exaggeration--I cannot recommend Luz's services highly enough.

Leanne is the best walker EVER. Not only does she clearly love dogs, she is attentive,…read morecommunicative, and I always feel safe leaving my pup with her. All of the training I've taught my pup, Leanne is happy to reinforce (and teach her more!) on their walks together. She knows the neighborhood and the best spots to take pups to potty and the best spots to take them to mingle (if you have a very social pup like mine). Best of all, she sends a detailed report card with pictures (and sometimes even video) after every walk, so you know exactly how it went. My pup is always so excited to see Leanne, I decided to use her pet sitting services overnight while I went on vacation. Needless to say, I received so many pictures and videos of pup enjoying her "sleepover", I felt like I was there with them. It took all the stress out of being away from home. I can't sing the praises of Pups Who Stroll loud enough! Highly recommend to anyone looking for pet care services.

He can be a little fidgety and he absolutely hates the dryer -- but Vanessa took her time, kept him calm, and made sure he felt safe the whole way through. When I picked him up, he looked beyond adorable -- clean, fluffy, perfectly trimmed, and smelling amazing. She even surprised us with a Thanksgiving bandana, a treat bag, and the cutest fall-themed photo backdrop. That extra touch says everything about how much she truly cares. Her prices are incredibly fair, the shop is clean and welcoming, and you can tell she puts her whole heart into every dog she works with. Kingsley will absolutely be a regular here. If you're looking for a groomer who's patient, honest, gentle, and truly talented -- Vanessa is the one. We're so grateful we found her!

Working with Leash & Learn has been the greatest experience! When I rescued my pit bull, Rocky,…read morefrom the ASPCA he was anxious, fearful, and couldn't settle. Neither of us were sleeping and it was very challenging to walk him. Not knowing how to help Rocky adjust I reached out to Leash & Learn. Rachel and Boris came to my apartment and did an assessment and created an individualized training plan. In our sessions they helped Rocky with noise desensitization, leash training, calming exercises, and basic commands. Rachel (the owner), who I call the dog whisper, is so knowledgeable, tactful, and compassionate. Her in-depth knowledge of dog behavior and ability to the read the smallest cues and adjust training accordingly is unreal. Boris, to whom Rocky took a very special liking, is so kind, personable, and skillful. In addition to their direct support of Rocky they taught me all the exercises and skills needed to continue training in between our sessions and beyond. I'm so grateful for their support and highly recommend their services.
