This store is a disgrace to all customer service experiences in America. The in professionalism and flat out dishonesty of sales associate Gohar cause emotional trauma when purchasing a piece of furniture. I recommend no one to go to this store let alone purchase an item from here. They will lie to you about their product and color when placing the order for you and they will not replace or take returns when the incorrect color arrives at your home. Through no fault of your own you will be stuck with $1000 furniture that you did not intend to buy with no owner manager or sales associate to take responsibility to replace or return to fix their own mistake Save yourself the money and avoid this store like the plague. I wish i could remember the name of the gentleman who helped us! He was really nice and went out of his way to show us different modern couches. They had a few around this specific showroom of theirs but he showed us a lot more in their catalogs. He was very honest about the quality of the couches we were looking at and offered great suggestions. About 1 year ago we bought sofa set from this store They told us that this set is Italian and imported from Italy And is leather so we believed them and bought this set for $3000 dollars. After six months this set start broken from inside All inner structures was crashed. Basically this people lied us. We could not enjoy this set even 1 year. I walked in on a late afternoon to browse sofas, as I had been doing all around the south Glendale area that day. Immediately I was approached by an unhappy looking women who asked very starkly if she could help me with anything. I replied no, and that I was just browsing, but thank you. She proceeded to literally follow me around the store. When I got to a new portion of the store, she would sit down and follow me with her eyes and head, never letting me out of her sight. At one point I asked her, "do you offer in-store financing?" She replied in a very rude manner, "well, you can apply," insinuating that I wouldn't have good enough credit. I took a full, good look around the store after that. I was just curious if there was something that I really liked that I absolutely would not be buying from this company. I would never, ever give my money to people who treat potential customers like this. Stay away from this place. Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to the furniture store adjacent. I had a 5 start experience at Furniture Town Gallery (both locations San Fernando Road and Cutter Street). I wanted to purchase a leather sectional. From helping me select the couch that would best meet my needs, to fulfilling my order everything was immaculate. Marina at the San Fernando Road was extremely helpful throughout the process. I ended up over estimating the size of the couch I needed, and ordered one which was a bit big for my living room. My order was canceled and a smaller size sectional was ordered for me without any issues. Eloy at the cutter street location provided fantastic customer service throughout. My sectional was delivered on time, without any damage and it looks beautiful! The quality is outstanding and worth the price . The lady at the front desk was one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. She was not helpful in the slightest, and was even annoyed by our questions. Very condescending toward my mother and I, simply asking if they have any dressers. My mom is a nice lady, and I don't appreciate her being disrespected. I wish i could give it a o star. As you can see most reviews are either 1 or 5. Very interesting the 5's. Horrible story. Will not even honor their own policy. I ordered a sofa 3 weeks ago. Last week i received a shippment but they made a mistake and the sectional was on the wrong side. Thank god i had a picture that i took at the store. Showed them the picture and a copy of the order (order clearsly states as "same as floor"). They took it back. Few days later i got the new one. Let me say it feels nothing like the one at the store. It is very flimsy, cheaply made and extremely uncomfortable. It has no back support whatsoever. I called the store first thing in the morning and asked them to return it. I spoke with Marina ( she sold me the sectional and assured me it was very comfortable). The receipt indicates we can return but there might be a restocking fee. I told them i was fine with the restocking fee. I am more than willing to loose alost a grand. Was told she would speak with the owner and let me know. No call back. Two days later, our entire family has lower back ache. The couches are extremely uncomfortable. Back pillows won't even stay straight. They keep moving up and even more back pain. I called her again. Let her know the quility is horrible and we have back pains. Want to return it. She said she will talk to the owner and call me back. Have not heard from yet still. I paid $3000 in cash for this sectional. No one once told us that we this was final sale. Horrible customer service. They told us it was an extremely comfortable sectional-complete lie. I would avoid this place like no joke. No communication whatsoever from them about delivering our bed and sofa. They have no one that can barely speak any proper english either. We are told we will get it on saturday and them come to find out that nothing has even arrived and this Arsineh person who handles the orders cannot get anything done. Now we have to wait extra days to hear back from them and most likely will not get it for another 2 weeks and then be told some bullshit about not having it in stock and then get a refund which will be a miserable experience I can predict. I had a great experience here. Everything was pretty easy. I had researched what I wanted and know they carried it online. It wasn't available in the store but Marina helped me. She's pretty nice and professional and answered all my questions since it's always a bit harder to make a big purchase online without physically seeing it. I bought the Magnussen Heron Cove king size bedroom set. I absolutely love it!! I paid half the balance at the store in cash and the other half on delivery. I kept a copy when I was at the stores. Good thing because they didn't have that copy on delivery and asked me to pay more - but the delivery man was pretty nice. I showed him my copy and all was sorted out correctly and easily. By far hands down the BEST furniture store I've shopped. They have an amazing selection, amazing prices and a huge show floor. I was in the market for a complete bedroom, livingroom and kitchen set. I've been to 5 Van Nuys area stores (where most furniture places are) and all of the ones in Glendale. Other places would give me the run around and try to pressure me into sale but Furniture Town was no hassel up-front establishment. ELOY!!! This is the man you gotta go see at Furniture Town. He made the entire process soooooo easy and simple. He was willing to work with me was patient and provided excellent service up to delivery. Let me add that they stand by their products and will make sure you are satisfied. Even delivery wasn't overlooked. We had been looking for a while now, finally a friend of ours referred us to this place and we couldn't have been happier ! Marina helped us from the moment we walked into the store until we walked out. Her personality was amazing! She knew how frustrating this whole process of shopping for a new home can be, with different options, colors, sizes and etc. For example, I wanted a square dinning table yet my fiancé was thinking about a round one, so she took 5 minutes to herself to grab a catalog and she found a table that was round with angular sides (which satisfied both of our needs!). Coming here was the worst shopping experience I've ever had! I came in looking for a white dresser, and a mirror I fell in love with while driving by. There was only one woman working there that said she was the owner and spoke very broken English. Additionally, she was the most uncourteous, most epically rude person EVER! Not only did she keep on insisting to take the floor model of the mirror when I had asked if she could order a new one , but she misplaced her phone and made a huge fiasco. Instead of helping us with what we were looking for all she could talk about was her misplaced cell phone . Other customers came in and she didn't even bother to greet them and they left immediately . I honestly put with up with her antics because I really wanted the mirror, but when she insisted on her "lost phone," I got the impression she thought I took it even though she kept dialing with the landline right next to me and it didn't make peep. I would NOT recommend coming here not only because the lack of customer service and respect, but also for the limited selection of furniture and untidiness of the store . read more

After visiting Furniture Town Gallery on three different occasions with four of my friends/family members, I ordered a sofa on January 26,2016. During my three visits to the store , all I was adamant about and vigorously questioned, was non-toxic and chemical free products. I even specifically remember asking for a fire retardant free foam cushion/stuffing. I almost begged the salesperson, who later mentioned that he was the owner, that we cannot have any hazardous and chemically loaded furniture items in our house. I firmly expressed that my husband and I have complicated health issues and suffer from chronic illnesses. Along with these requests, I specifically asked for a soft foam cushion and to that he promised that if I payed an extra $700 all of my requests would be made without question or concern. I agreed happily assuming I had thoroughly explained all my needs and wants. On the day we brought the sofa home, I was so excited that we placed it in the room and promptly tried it out. To our dismay we immediately noticed that it was not soft foam at all and almost felt like we were sitting on stone. Then the next morning we noticed a strange smell coming directly from the sofa that we hadn't noticed before because of all the excitement of finally having the sofa. Confused and dismayed, I moved the cushion and underneath saw a fairly large label describing the material. Underneath that large label was a hidden small label that said the following "WARNING. This Product May Contain A Chemical Known To The State Of California To Cause Cancer Or Birth Defects Or Other Reproductive Harm". I immediately called the owner and was told to return the sofa back to the store on my expense which was a cost of $600. We reluctantly agreed to it, given that the drive was 2 hours back. Unfortunately, around the same time, my husband got into a car accident and totaled his truck, leaving us without a source of delivering the sofa back. I wrote to the owner in regards to the accident and said that we would return the item the following week, but he decided that he had changed his mind and said he wouldn't take it back, and wouldn't answer any of my other concerns, he just ignored my emails. The only remark he made was, in his own words, "some stupid attorney decided to get rich in regarding fire retardant foams by suing the furniture stores" and that there is nothing wrong in selling the fire retardant foam. Unfortunately, I paid all cash because the owner convinced me it would cost me less, however, in mentioning my situation to friends, they have said that this is a common practice when businesses want to skip paying taxes on items sold and get away with it. I know if I would of paid with my credit card, my credit card company would have protected my rights because I am an excellent credit holder.
