Furniture Row also is changing us a minimal fee to set up and deliver whereas the competition big name store was charging us a bucket load and the pricing changed depending on who you spoke with!! read more

Last year I bought a couch (as well as a chair, 2 rugs and a mattress set). The couch cushions are too narrow-I have a piece of foam wedged between the end cushion and arm so the cushions touch. I contacted the store March 4th and Mitch responded, letting me know I will be getting a new middle cushion. Since then I have contacted him multiple times for an update and have never heard back. It is a generic email address I got from corporate so even if Mitch no longer works there someone received my several emails. Aside from the couch I am satisfied with my purchases, however I am incredibly disappointed at the lack of customer service (completely ignoring me) and my defective couch (that I spent a lot of money on and wanted 7 months for). Spent thousands on a living room set including a sectional sofa. Also purchased the extended warranty after being told it cover all damage no matter the cause. Tried to make a claim on the warranty after the sectionals mechanism fell apart, just to be denied. Take your money elsewhere where they actually stand behind their products. We purchased about 10k of furniture about two months ago- delivery within a few days. Mattress- great- nice and good value Furniture- decent - value good Delivery staff- nice and on time Why one star? 1. With original order, they sold two of our pieces to someone else while delivery pending 2. Delivery delayed (1st delivery!) 3. Called us and told us some of the furniture was broken that was delivered for first (delayed) order. Original partial delivery of part of order- pieces scratched 4. Second delivery a few weeks later- incomplete 5. Third delivery (today)- no bolts or pieces to assemble a complex piece of furniture that we have just now received the pieces to- No malice, but will probably not use them again.... read more

Ordered furniture in February 2021. Got half of it. Stillll waiting on it and they say due to "covid". There's no way a year later it's still due to "covid". All they say is too bad, but you can cancel your order. So what am I going to have, half of my furniture and then other half a different brand? Will not order/ shop from here again. read more

I ordered my furniture the first week of October. I was told it would be delivered the first week of December. I arranged for a buyer for my old stuff. Here I sit with an empty living room because Furniture Row never called me to tell me my order wouldn't be ready till the end of January. I understand Covid and all, but this is unacceptable. 4 months, and the only communication has been when I call them. I wasn't even offered a loaner couch. When we returned two weeks later she remembered us which was nice, The no pressure sale which made the experience quite nice. I walked in Furniture Row a few nights ago wanting to browse for some new furniture. I was appalled to see 2 employees lying on beds set up for show! I was not approached by any sales personnel. The employee on one of the beds had plastic wrap on his head samurai style. I walked through to a different room at which time one of the employees did laugh and get off the bed. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I ordered a rug on July 8th 2018 and paid $875 for it... we never never received the rug. When we bought it they said it would be approximately 6 weeks and would arrive in late August, not a problem. By the end of August we had heard nothing from furniture row, so I called. They said the order was on its way to the Holland store. By the end of September we still hadn't been notified that the rug was in the store... so I called again and they still claimed it was en route to Ohio from Denver. This continued on for the next three months. I never heard anything from Furniture Row unless I contacted them, and they were never pleasant on the phone and did not provide any helpful information on the hold up. I am writing this as of April 23rd 2019 - NINE MONTHS from the order date, and furniture row still has never contacted me. I will never shop here again and advise all others to avoid them. By the way, when I went in today to get my refund, the employees were rude. To expand on this, when we walked in no one greeted us. We asked where we should go and were told to walk through the bedroom area to customer service. As we were walking through the mattress sales department, there were approximately 6 employees standing around and several LYING DOWN ON THE BEDS!!!!! I found this extremely unprofessional and none of them acknowledged us as we walked through. read more

I debated even putting a review up because while I have problems in the end after I had to fight them they did resolve them. However the whole point of reviews is so that other people can know about experiences with the company's good and the bad. I spent years trying to find the correct couch. I found the correct couch at the store. When I sat on it it was exactly what I wanted. I could customize it how I wished. So I ordered it. It took a few weeks for it to come in. They delivered it to my home. And when I looked at it and sat on it I wanted to cry. It was nothing like it was in the store. The stores was soft and comfortable and this couch was like a hard rock. I felt like it was a bait and switch. I contacted the company who assured me it was only hard because it was new and offered to get a different couch in a different fabric. After discussing with other people who have worked in the furniture business and who looked at my couch and listen to my story. They told me even with a different fabric this couch would take years to feel like it did in the store. In fact the couch was so different than what was purchased even the store realized this and they sold the floor model and bought in a new version of the same couch. I contacted the company to get my money back and return the couch. They tried to tell me that they were going to charge me a pickup fee because I just didn't like it and there was nothing wrong with it. In fact I have picture and video proof that there was actual flaws in the couch. Every single cushion had at least one to five threads sticking out. There were rips that were under the cushions. And nails that you could feel under the cushion where a person could have been injured and cut. They were telling me I had to talk to a representative from the company. And then the company representative told me I had to talk with a store manager. And kept going back and forth that neither one could do anything because the other person or they made a different decision. I was close to taking all my evidence and escalating this to a higher level. They finally decided that it would be in the best interest of everybody to fully return my money and to pick up the couch. They did just as promised and picked up the couch and returned every penny of my money. I tell the story to family and friends and anyone that I hear is looking for furniture. The quality of the furniture that is bought here is less than I would place at a big box store. The cost however is four times the price. Sometimes higher price does not mean higher quality. Do your research and buy from a different store. And be careful. They sound nice like the reply below. But I spent hours dealing with them not being nice and trying to get a full refund as well as not charging me a pick up fee. I never wish to speak with them again. read more

Junk, purchased a Dining set for $1,831.68. 5 out of 8 chairs were damaged and the pedestal base was also damaged. Had a Sunday delivery and the delivery guys had to take back 3 of the chairs and the pedestal to the ware house and reorder new ones. 2 of the chairs that were left on Sunday would not stand flat. The legs were cut uneven and rocked on my hard wood floors, But they would only take 3 chairs back with them and left 5 chairs and the table top at my home (never opened the top). On Monday morning I called Rob ( warehouse manager) and told him that I don't want this Dining set and would like a refund. He sent the delivery guys out on Tuesday To pick up the other chairs and top. I paid cash for the Dining set and at this time I'm still wanting for my refund. Flood model was in better condition then what they sent me. read more

we initially loved the quality of the wood - so we bought a bed, two dressers, two nightstands in November. Then the problems began: delivery was delayed until January..delivery men brought a damaged nightstand, two dressers and headboard - nicks, gauges, cracks. We sent back the damaged products and were told that next delivery would be mid-February. After not hearing from the company mid-february, I called and was told that three of the four items would possibly be available the week after and that I should call back. THe next week I called, an a very polite Rob told me that we could come that night to look at the items in store - items were in perfect shape so delivery was today February 20, 2013. All four items came damaged, gauged, with cracks so big I can stick a fingernail into them, plus the fact that the dressers wobble with the slightest touch. Oh, and the delivery guys gauged our banister on the way up and stated that they didn't use the lift on the truck because it was too slow, so they opted to hoist heavy furniture down by hand...adding to damage.
