I took a drive from Astoria to Yonkers this past weekend to shop for a sofa for my studio…read moreapartment. I specifically went to the Raymour and Flanigan outlet but couldn't find anything I liked. I googled other discount furniture stores in the area and stumbled upon this place. As soon as I stepped in, I saw a black velour couch I loved and would fit perfectly in my place. I asked the salesman if they delivered to Astoria. I was told, yes. I purchased the sofa and was advised that it would be delivered at 5 pm Sunday night. 5 pm Sunday, came and went...no couch. I called the store Monday morning and was told 7 pm that night. 7 pm Monday came and went. As of Tuesday morning, I was frustrated. The merchant never called to say they wouldn't be delivering the sofa Sunday or Monday night. However, they called Tuesday morning and as promised, the couch was delivered Tuesday night. I have a new sofa. The delivery went smoothly. Although a small, glass sunflower trinket I owned was broken in the process, the delivery men did help me move some items around in my place so that the Furniture would fit and got rid of my old sofa. I love my purchase!

Stamford Office Furniture is one of the worst companies! I contacted them right away and asked them to fix what they broke and they refused to. I gave them many chances to correct the situation and they would not even talk about it. It took more than a month for them to order the original part and when it came in, it was the wrong part and they damaged my chair. Their customer service, including the owner of the company and others was horrendous. They would not fix the damage they created and would not give me a refund. They refused to even take a look at the chair to see the damage. Run the other way and don't even think of using Stamford Office Furniture.
