I consider in my opinion this was a money grab seeing it came out of left field. I chose to leave and not seek treatment. I went on Sunday, yesterday…read moreApril 12 and the chiropractor that I met was a women of Asian decent, So very kind, courteous concerned. I arrived there with excruciating pain for my 10 AM appointment that I booked online and even though they don't open till 10 the young man at the desk saw that I was in pain, came to the door to check on me and allow me to come in a few minutes early before they were officially open, he allowed me to start paperwork because he knew I was the 10 AM appointment. The chiropractor who assessed me again was fabulous. She was prudent and very conservative in my initial treatment because of how inflamed I was in my upper back, shoulder and neck. She created a plan of how to treat my cervical pain. Please understand I came out of sheer desperation, I booked this appointment at 4 in the morning looking for a chiropractor that is open on a Sunday, and to be Frank, I wasn't even certain that this was in my best interest because I knew I was inflamed. I will say I am a registered nurse with 28 total years of nursing and 18 of which was as an ER nurse. I made an appointment for the following day as recommended for another assessment and treatment. I was told it would be a different chiropractor because she only works on Sundays. I arrived again in excruciating pain because what I am experiencing is an acute issue. There was a male chiropractor and a receptionist sitting at the desk talking. I do believe that they probably were discussing and preparing for the day, to give them grace. I attempted to open the door. It was five minutes of 10 AM. The door is locked. They both looked up and they saw me and put their eyes right back down and continue talking to each other. As I stood outside, and I was pacing back-and-forth on my feet and in absolute agony. They continued to talk acting as if I did not exist. I know that they could see me. It is clearly a glass window and door, so after standing there for a couple of minutes because I was in so much pain I walked away and went to the Centra Care clinic down the street. I will say this I am deeply disappointed, not just with this particular establishment, but with all of healthcare professionals out there and their lack of compassion and concern for people in general. This type of behavior says a lot about you and your values. It is heartbreaking to me we have become a society that does not care about one another anymore. I have never, nor will I ever treat patients this way that are under my care. Every person matters. So my recommendation is unless you only go on Sunday to see that outstanding chiropractor, and I apologize cause I don't remember her name. I was in such pain, but she really did help. I could not and would not recommend this Chiropractic clinic to anyone otherwise.
