First of all, I have been to multiple chiropractors, some good, some ok, but none were really bad. I stopped going to each one of them because I couldn't afford to see them every week, and going once a month just wasn't helping my spinal problems. When my neighbor recommended The Joint, I was a little worried about the quality of care as the cost was cheap in my opinion, but I was willing to give them a try. I was completely blown away by the quality of care I received from Dr. Deveraux!! I have never had such a good adjustment, and after a couple of visits my leg cramping went away at night (did you know spinal issues can cause leg cramping? I did.) The office staff here are friendly too. I signed up for their 5 plus 1 plan, but even their monthly plan, with no contract, is a super deal over a regular chiropractor's office. Not only are they efficient when you come in for an adjustment, but they do their job with precision and care, and I feel safe in their hands. I would not recommend this practice unless you only go on a Sunday. I went on Sunday, yesterday April 12 and the chiropractor that I met was a women of Asian decent, So very kind, courteous concerned. I arrived there with excruciating pain for my 10 AM appointment that I booked online and even though they don't open till 10 the young man at the desk saw that I was in pain, came to the door to check on me and allow me to come in a few minutes early before they were officially open, he allowed me to start paperwork because he knew I was the 10 AM appointment. The chiropractor who assessed me again was fabulous. She was prudent and very conservative in my initial treatment because of how inflamed I was in my upper back, shoulder and neck. She created a plan of how to treat my cervical pain. Please understand I came out of sheer desperation, I booked this appointment at 4 in the morning looking for a chiropractor that is open on a Sunday, and to be Frank, I wasn't even certain that this was in my best interest because I knew I was inflamed. I will say I am a registered nurse with 28 total years of nursing and 18 of which was as an ER nurse. I made an appointment for the following day as recommended for another assessment and treatment. I was told it would be a different chiropractor because she only works on Sundays. I arrived again in excruciating pain because what I am experiencing is an acute issue. There was a male chiropractor and a receptionist sitting at the desk talking. I do believe that they probably were discussing and preparing for the day, to give them grace. I attempted to open the door. It was five minutes of 10 AM. The door is locked. They both looked up and they saw me and put their eyes right back down and continue talking to each other. As I stood outside, and I was pacing back-and-forth on my feet and in absolute agony. They continued to talk acting as if I did not exist. I know that they could see me. It is clearly a glass window and door, so after standing there for a couple of minutes because I was in so much pain I walked away and went to the Centra Care clinic down the street. I will say this I am deeply disappointed, not just with this particular establishment, but with all of healthcare professionals out there and their lack of compassion and concern for people in general. This type of behavior says a lot about you and your values. It is heartbreaking to me we have become a society that does not care about one another anymore. I have never, nor will I ever treat patients this way that are under my care. Every person matters. So my recommendation is unless you only go on Sunday to see that outstanding chiropractor, and I apologize cause I don't remember her name. I was in such pain, but she really did help. I could not and would not recommend this Chiropractic clinic to anyone otherwise. read more

I walked into the office at 630pm on 2/25/25 with my two small children for quick adjustment. I was the only patient waiting while one chiropractor(can't recall his name) was attending to another patient. I proceeded to wait and once the chiropractor finished with the patient another patient checked in after me. The chiropractor proceeded to attend the most recent checked in patient before me. I was a bit confused to why I was skipped over, didn't put too much attention to this. My 10year old daughter even asked why I wasn't next to be attended. I still waited and realized another Dr. was in the restroom during this time. Dr. Keisha Taylor proceeded to walk to the front desk and chatted with the office staff person and then proceeded to her desk and sit and not attend me while she browsed on her phone. I noticed she even pulled up my patient file but still chose not to treat me, again as I waited with my children. I still was waiting and being ignored, a third patient walked in and checked in and then Dr. Taylor proceeded to attend the new patient who had just checked in at 649pm. I was applaud and beyond done waiting 20+mins as I was the only patient waiting when I initially arrived, mind you I'm just trying to get quick adjustment while I have my school aged children with me. This is commpletely unprofessional and I will be cancelling my membership with The Joint. Always I have had a great experience with Dr. Tyson at this clinic and I have been a member for 5 years but unfortunately this a truly unacceptable situation. I started coming to The Joint in early 2022 when I had severe back pain. It was so bad one day that I got up from work and left just knowing I needed to find somewhere that would help with relief. I decided to come to The Joint Winter Park and after my consultation signed up for the wellness membership. The pain I had felt for months (consistent when standing/sitting/laying/walking) improved and then was fully gone after two weeks. At my visits I was shown stretches to do at home and I believe this helped as well. Since then I would say that this membership has significantly improved my quality of life. I appreciate that I can walk-in any time without an appointment, be seen, and out in 5-10 min most times. I haven't been to other locations, but when I travel I check to see if there are any close by, just in case. I highly recommend the Winter Park location! read more

The people are typically nice and I use to go here regularly but sometimes they only have 1 doctor and when "new patients" come in, it takes 30-40 minutes for them to be complete. I originally joined the joint because it was fast and affordable. But it's been several times now where I show up and I'm unable to be seen because of a new patient session. Not sure why those are allowed/scheduled when there's only one doctor available. It would be nice if there was an app that told us when time slots are blocked off so I don't waste my time driving all the way down. I did call ahead today and asked if I needed an appointment or anything and the woman said no since I'm an existing patient and to come in whenever is convenient for me. When I came in, the there was just one doctor and he wouldn't be available for 30-40 minutes. I hope the readers of this review can understand how frustrating this can be. For someone who doesn't have a lot of free time, this really sucks. Now I don't mind waiting 10-15 minutes if there are people ahead of me but 30-40 is kind of extreme. If you do ANYTHING make sure that it's you NOT coming to this place! If you care about your health and wellness do not come here. This business model imo has negatively impacted the quality of what is suppose to be done in chiropractics. (They're more focused on convincing you to purchase multiple sessions through packages) So if your issue is fixed immediately then there's no way you're coming back. Of course they don't want that. I showed up with a shoulder injury, and no exaggeration the chiropractic literally only focused on everything accept that. Gave me an adjustment to my neck, and entire back. Which since has left me in pain. I haven't had the same comfort in my previous ranges of motions and movements. At the end of my visit I asked very clearly "well is there anything I can do to help the issues I'm having with internal rotation in a more immediate since that's what bothering me" he replies "well your issue won't be fixed in one visit (which I'm no idiot I understand that) it's like a cut it needs time to heal and get better." The man didn't even give me any actionable items to help alleviate or see improvement besides put ice on it and avoid heat packs. THEN proceeds to sell me the packages of 6-8 more sessions. I've been to chiropractors before and have had great experience. I came here because I heard it was cost effective and effective. Please find a real practice this is the the equivalent of a fast food restaurant compared to a Michelin restaurant. read more

Initially was great service from this location & the one in Kissimmee, but I switched over my monthly plan at this location months ago. I noticed on my bank statement it was more than what I was told by the male employee manning the desk at that time & was told by someone at the front desk (Kaley or Haley?) that they have no idea who did it or how because my home base is in Kissimmee. I never got to see the chiropractor. I was told it would be a 20-30 minute wait. It was over an hour when I decided to leave. The receptionist reassured me a few more minutes. Then 20 minutes passed. What really upset me more than the hour long wait was waiting that long only to see another patient scan their card and go straight back after the receptionist told them it would be a 20 minute wait. The cherry on top was when I was supposed to be seen after the person in front of me waiting. However the patient that went straight back got seen before I was even though I was there before them. Dr. Devereaux is one of the best at adjusting I've ever had. I drive a little further to get the adjustment but it's well worth it

first of all, this is my fourth visit and this is where things got bad. I got there today on Saturday at 10:55 AM. I did call in a couple days ago and asked if I could have an appointment for 11 AM and was told yes that I could get in at 11 AM. Not any time was I ever told that existing customers or existing clients are not able to get appointments. However, I was told that today. I arrived there and sat for 30 minutes and saw people come in after me gets treated and leave the room leave the building while I was still sitting there. When I asked about when I would get treated, I was told that there were clients that have requested a specific doctor and that is why they were serviced ahead of me. Even though I had come in at my schedule time. After that Christian, who was the Talking Head today, got very verbally abusive and decided to let me know that this was not in his words "a retail clinic, or a retail business, which I dispute it because anytime you don't take appointments you just walk in and get served sounds like retail to me. That being said, I did ask after I express my disappointment for waiting 30 minutes I kept asking when I was going to be called and I was finally told that I will be called next, but because I was standing there arguing with Christian that I was wasting time. When the doctor came out to take me back to get adjusted. I made it clear that I will be filing a complaint and Christian said to me that "we don't have to treat you we can refuse to treat you". At that point I said OK and I left. I do not appreciate being treated like , I am nothing and like my concerns are not valid. I don't know anywhere you can go and I given an appointment and even if you're not giving an appointment you are in the queue and people just continue to come in and get served before you. I am very disappointed and will not go back to the joint chiropractic clinic in Mount Dora. I will also be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau answer the state of new Florida regarding their business practices. read more

Dr Joel is AMAZING!!! Him and the whole staff are nothing but friendly from the time you walk in to the time you leave. Super helpful and courteous! I have only had adjustments done here by Dr Joel, but I have witnessed the other chiropractors providing services and everyone seems like they are passionate about what they do. Dr Joel listens to your concerns, makes notes about the specific areas giving you problems, and not only spends more than 5 minutes adjusting, but he will suggest other ways to help after the adjustment!! I have been here twice since they opened, and even though I signed up for a membership, I never once felt as if he was pressuring me into it. I truly have never had this type of chiropractic service before, but after coming here, I will follow Dr Joel wherever he will practice. read more
