He helped my husband quit smoking and fixed a stubborn shoulder issue. I've sent many people to him and they all reported great results. We moved across town and I hadn't seen him in years. My daughter wanted to try it to help with GI issues and I looked for an acupuncture Dr in my area but couldn't find one that I liked. So we drove across town (45min) to see Dr Jim and once again, I'm so impressed with his demeanor and knowledge. My daughter is enjoying the experience and beginning to see results. I'm receiving treatments again as well and am so happy to be in his care. He is very affordable- wanting people to be able to come as often as needed. Since insurance doesn't cover, this is not a small thing. Even the medicine is at cost lower than you'll find online. I wish all doctors were as kind, trustworthy and attentive as Dr Jim. I highly recommend! ******

Accupuncturist: Dr. Candace Montoya…read more I have been very happy to work with Dr. Candy at Essential Mind and Body, where I have recieved many incredible accupunture treatments over several years time. I have found the sessions to restore a the flow of abundant energy, after sessions. It has helped me heal my body from several conditions and I find it promotes my overall health and well-being. Dr. Candy always takes the time to listen to my concerns and helpfully explains what acupuncture can do for me. Often times, I have benefitted from a B-12 shot in addition to regular accupunture treatments. If you have not yet tried this modality of healing, I find it is well suited to pair with chiropractic treatments and I credit both in helping me to feel better at age 52, than I did during most of my 40s.
