Normally I visit the O-Town location but thankfully with my membership I can visit any location and so I stopped in for a visit to Dr Philips were they always have 2 Dr's available. I was seen immediately and within I was walking out feeling right as rain. The staff is super friendly and the Dr explained everything he was doing from beginning to end. Very welcoming and answered all of my questions before starting. I come 3-4 times a year and really trust them.

Things are not always what they seem at "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" I am 70 and tired of being ripped off. I could not relieve the pain I have in my back thru the exercises I have used for years. So, I went to the "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" which had a special for 2 months, so I decided to try them. When I walked into the establishment I was told "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" has a 2-month special they told me it was my best option as it would cost more to do it any other way. So, I signed up for the 2 months. My first visit they cracked my back which was fine but, by the time I reach the exit I was in just as much pain as when I first came in. Towards the end of the first month I was getting worse rather than better. As I wasn't getting better and they never asked me for my x-ray or the MRI. So, they were cracking my back not knowing if they were even helping me. Here's what happened, towards the end of the first month I went to the receptionist and told her I would not be back as I felt the corrections were not helping me. I ask her if they were going to keep the money for next month she said yes, as I signed up for two months that was ok. A couple of things I noticed that the receptionist was different for all my visits as well the chiropractors, however I do believe I did see one chiropractor twice. I have never been to a chiropractic office where the chiropractors changed with every visit. Another thing I noticed was they would not take any insurance or CASH no other payment vehicle allowed. Some months later I looked at my bank statement and noticed there was a withdrawal for "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" even though I had stopped going to them months ago. I looked back and "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" made 3 additional withdrawals, even though I paid for the two months special they continued to withdraw from my account. When I called to find out why, I was told it was because I did not read the contract and needed to fill out a termination of service form. The receptionist did not say anything to me about a form when I told her I was not going to continue. I only signed up for 2 months when the corrections did not work I paid for the 2nd month and move on. Not so fast, I was told by the owner or the owners advocate that "I would just have to eat it", the 3 payments they withdrew without my permission. Bottom line I fulfilled my part of the contract but because they DO NOT take cash it allows them to keep withdrawing from your account with out your approval. So, watch out "Joint Chiropractic in DeLand" will scam you so watch out. Now you know why they only take credit cards as payment. read more

This is the first time coming to the Joint Chiropractic at this location but my first impression was a positive one. First of all, it is right next door to Medi Weightloss , VL Vita Lounge (IV and injection therapy), Semper laser hair removal, and Image Nails salon so you can get adjusted, injected, lasered, and polished up without getting even getting back in your car. When you walk in the Joint, it is clean and aesthetically pleasing with tinted concrete floors and a modern decor. There are 5 open adjustment tables and there were three doctors working the Sunday that I visited. Dr Strader was the doctor that worked on me. He was friendly and efficient and I got a good adjustment. I haven't had a bad experience yet at a Joint Chiropractic, in fact, they've all been positive and this visit was no exception. read more

I can't express enough the magnitude of my appreciation for the experience I had here. A huge THANK YOU to Vic, Lymari, and Luis. When I walked in, I already felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from Lymari who I had spoken to on the phone minutes prior and she made me want to give this place a try. Vic was extremely patient and understanding of it being my first time there so she took the opportunity to walk me through how to fill out the tablet. Greatly expediting the time it would've taken me. Throughout me filling out the tablet I had questions a few times yet she was very attentive, helping me with a smile. As I waited for what seemed like only 5 minutes for the doctor to review my file, Vic and Lymari were making everyone that was walking in feel appreciated for coming back in. I got Luis as my chiropractor who I'll be seeing again for my next visits. Luis asked what I was in for, (I never know how to make a long story short), I was so appreciative that he listened to everything I had to say about my pain/discomfort and acted on them to adjust me properly. The operations managers calls you personally and assures she is going to refund the direct debit they continued to take after you canceled and never does. If you can't visit consistently do not sign up. My work hours are the same at their business hours and it was nearly impossible for me to get visits. Then when I had extra visits at the end of the month they totally expired. My "bonus" visits expired and I lost any incentive for even signing up. Total waste of money if you can't visit every week. The front desk area was super unprofessional and I had to walk through and hear an altercation between the manager and the front desk girls. But for one good reason that i still keep coming back because the New Doctor name Dr. Shawn Swaagman and Dr. Ryan Price are amazing , and i knew myself since i am a picky one. And both of them if they are not awesome I wouldn't waste my time writing the review at all. Since i felt horrible since Dr. Gibson left i almost cancel my membership. My man and I recently moved and both of our backs were out of wack. Went to a new location of joint near us yesterday and the doctor we had was not helpful at all (probably the least helpful doctor we had at joint ever). We had some errands to run in Orlando and since I still had shooting hip pain that made walking pretty uncomfortable, we looked up the closest joint location that was opened on a Sunday. Dr. Nakia Pinkney was great! She was thorough and most importantly effective. She was able to adjust my hip, even though my muscles were really stiff. Low back is my man's problem area ( and he's typically weary of chiropractors and doesn't go unless it gets bad). She was able to get to his spot that's typically hard to adjust and he feels great. He even trusted her to adjust his neck. We're both feeing much better and wishing she was the doctor at the location near us. read more

I am new to The Joint, but definitely not new to chiropractic care. I have been going to a chiropractor on and off for 16 years now because of the damage several car accidents have done to my spine & poor posture. If you have recent x-rays, bring them with you in electronic format. I had pictures of my X-rays on my phone, so it was easy for me to email it and them to see what they were working with. The initial consult was quick and easy. Dr. Fred Gibson checked out my X-rays, got my history and explained the way forward. I got my adjustment same day and was put on a plan to get me towards wellness. What I like about this place is that it is simple adjustments, catered to you. There isn't exercises before and after & there isn't a ridiculous cost to it. Within the first three adjustments and the one instruction for me to do at home, I am already feeling better. I am excited to see and experience the progress. This place has a great patient experience - from reception desk where I keep forgetting my keys/scan card and he laughs with me about it to the adjustment where I'm not rushed and can talk to what I am still experiencing. Dr. Gibson is awesome. Very knowledgeable, very personable, and definitely the guy to see. I just wish he'd start his own practice and stop letting this place hold him back. If you plan to see him make sure you set aside a few HOURS to sit and wait with your chronic pain. They don't take appointments except for the first visit and even then you'll be brushed aside for walkins. In about 10 visits there I've been seen in under 30 minutes maybe 3 times and you can just disregard whatever wait time estimates they give you because I guarantee it's gonna be longer. The only redeeming factor here is Dr. Gibson's treatments and knowledge but that doesn't matter at all when you'll never get in to see him. read more

Okay so if you go here, I recommend Dr. Gibson, he gets 10 stars. No matter how many people are there he takes his time and listens to all your concerns and is so professional and talented. If you happen to get another Chiro, it could go either way, once I swear I was seen for 10 seconds so it felt like a wasted visit- speed is not my #1 concern when it comes to seeing a medical professional. If you're in from out of town I totally recommend going here for a quick and cheap adjustment if you need it, you can walk in and be treated. They do not take insurance but rather offer a few "subscriptions". I did the 4 visits a month which was reasonably priced, but they do not roll over to the next month if you can't make it all 4 times which sucked. You get a keychain that you can scan to check in and it keeps track of your visits, cool and modern. It makes the process even faster, no paperwork after your first visit and you can walk right out when you're done. The hours are great and they are open on the weekend. Also I loved the location, I could go get my nails done, get adjusted and grab some sushi. It's in a very nice center and I enjoyed going over there. They only do table adjustments, there's none of the other usually chiropractic office fair like those machines that other offices use before or after adjusting but that's personal preference. I've been in Florida for a few years now and just realized they have opened one here so I stopped in today as a walk-in to get an adjustment. When I first came in, I was in literal tears from discomfort, and I was seen very quickly. Dr. Gibson is very personable, efficient, knowledgeable, and effective. I would give a 10 star rating, were it possible! I can't recommend Dr. Kris Bradt highly enough. If you're experiencing any pain, tightness, or discomfort it's worth it to you to go to his office now! He is masterful and deeply intuitive in his approach to the human body; it is clear that he is committed to his patients whether it's their first visit or their thousandth. He deftly listened to my concerns, diagnosed other issues that were contributing to my emergent lower back tightness, and treated my back, several hypertonic muscles, a recent hamstring injury, and an old shoulder injury using ART and adjustment. As an athlete I regularly pummel my body, so I've been told by many doctors that I'm not an easy adjustment. On the other hand Dr. Bradt achieved pelvic & lower back adjustments that have been sticking points for the last three chiropractors whom I've visited. As much as Dr. Bradt is gifted in manipulating and resetting the body, he is also committed to providing patients with information, which I appreciate; he is forthcoming with after care suggestions and "homework" - exercises and practices that will help you combat chronic concerns and other discomfort that might crop up during your daily activities. This is one of the few offices I've encountered that accepts walk-ins and has very reasonable pricing. So I was in a car accident when I was 14 that left me with spine damage, I had not been adjusted by a chiropractor for about three years by the time I found the joint. I was having migranes 2 to 3 times a week, I actually had one the morning I came in for the first time.
