Accupuncturist: Dr. Candace Montoya I have been very happy to work with Dr. Candy at Essential Mind and Body, where I have recieved many incredible accupunture treatments over several years time. I have found the sessions to restore a the flow of abundant energy, after sessions. It has helped me heal my body from several conditions and I find it promotes my overall health and well-being. Dr. Candy always takes the time to listen to my concerns and helpfully explains what acupuncture can do for me. Often times, I have benefitted from a B-12 shot in addition to regular accupunture treatments. If you have not yet tried this modality of healing, I find it is well suited to pair with chiropractic treatments and I credit both in helping me to feel better at age 52, than I did during most of my 40s. read more

I cannot say enough about Dr. Koch and his wonderful staff! I walked in one day practically sobbing and unable to move my neck AT ALL and walked out tear free, and quite mobile! I have followed his advice (icing, rolling, etc.) as well as his recommendations on when to have my follow-up visits and I feel like a million bucks! I sleep better at night, and over all feel like a better version of myself since I started going to Essential Mind & Body! The front desk staff is so kind and inviting, and they do a GREAT job of getting you in the same or very next day if you ever just aren't feeling 100%! read more

Dr. Koch and his staff are wonderful! They are always friendly, & helpful. And they even squeeze you in when you write down the wrong appointment time and are late! read more

My next step was a wheelchair. I started looking at them on Amazon. I was already using a walker to get around my house. I couldn't go to the store unless there was a grocery cart there that I could lean on to take the weight off my hip, or take my walker. I was 62 years old, and had custody of my two granddaughters, age 8 and 10, since they lost their mother. I have always been an herbalist, and the situation had to be really severe for me to go to a medical doctor. I was terrified of surgery, and was afraid my next step would be a hip replacement. I had tried everything I could think of for the past two years to calm the pain in my left hip, knee and shoulder. I was getting no sleep at night because of the pain, then getting up and having to take care of the girls. There was no one else to do it. I felt I had to wait until summer when I would have someone to help me with the girls. But the day I started looking at wheelchairs was the day I decided I better do something. I prayed that God would lead me to the right doctor. Being an herbalist, I started Googling chiropractors first. I found a couple of possibilities, and then something told me to see Dr. Koch. I walked in with my walker, hurting the whole time. I was grumpy and irritable because of the pain. But Dr. Koch listened to me, took me back for x-rays and then started working his magic. After just three visits, I was walking without my walker. By the next visit the pain in my knee was gone. It's now been about a month and I can see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I can stand to cook, walk from the car to the store to shop, and my shoulder is a thousand times better. Dr. Koch said it would take a while to get me walking again but I never imagined that I would be walking almost pain free within a month. Thank you, Lord, for leading me to this amazing man. And thank you, Dr. Koch, for working your magic. read more

Dr. Koch has been magnificent! The first visit I was unable to move neck, back, left arm through wrist. Nerve pain was so bad it hurt to breathe. His knowledge, thoroughness and wisdom helped me get results quickly. The positivity throughout the office and staff "worked miracles" in this case. Currently and after MRI results showing quite a bit of disc damage along with nerve pain/inflammation, I actually feel no pain because the exercise and maintenance plan he has me on hit the mark. Thank you, Dr. Koch, my daughter Lauren is next and will be there over summer!! You Are the BEST!!!! read more

This place is hands down the best. Dr Koch is not only a top rate chiropractor, he is a hell of a guy. From day one I felt welcomed and relaxed. He listens to what you have to say and then executes well controlled adjustments to get you feeling primo again! My hip was hurting and one of my legs were longer than the other. After he took a look at me he totally popped my hip and my brain instantly released endorphins, was a great experience. I also get my neck adjusted regularly and I have been having an overall feeling of well being since I've been coming in. If you have been thinking of taking the plunge and seeing a chiropractor do it at essential mind and body (the water is warm)! read more

Essential Mind and Body - Chiropractors Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I can't recommend Essential Mind & Body enough! I had never been to a chiropractor before I saw Dr. Koch. I was having trouble walking at a normal pace without pain in my lower back and lower legs. Dr. Koch worked with me to make me feel comfortable and balanced in my legs and back. It only took a few visits to fix my imbalance! The rest of the staff is wonderful, too, and the accupuncture has been amazing in reducing my stress and anxiety! read more

I will cut to the chase - I had (what felt like) chronic neck discomfort. I was always feeling my neck sore and every few weeks, I would wake up and for next 3-4 days my neck would hurt when turning my head. This went on and on for years, until a friend of mine said I should go see Dr. Koch. I went in and he asked me to come back once a week for about 4 weeks and now I go back once a month and for almost a full year now my neck has not hurt at all. No discomfort, no pain, nothing. I'm so grateful. The receptionist is also a doll. read more

Dr. Koch is awesome. I have been going for about a year to manage migraine and TMJ pain. Both of these issues have improved immensely under his care. I never wait longer than a couple of minutes, never feel pressured to buy anything and now take my six year old when she is sick. He is great with children. He also uses essential oils, which I love. read more

I've only been seeing Dr. Koch (chiropractor) for about a month after a referral from a friend, but have seen life changing improvements in my body's balance and posture. Dr. Montoya (acupuncturist) is also amazing and has made my quality of life so much better. I cherish my time with both of them and have never seen anything close to the levels of comfort and relaxation I have after going to Essential Mind & Body. If you haven't tried going to a chiropractor or acupuncturist, DO IT, you won't believe what you're missing. And if you want the best bedside manner and care, go to Dr. Koch and Dr. Montoya! read more

I'm happy to see that I'm not alone giving 5 stars here. I can't even begin to explain how much Dr. Koch changed my life. My neck and back were so stiff, almost every day I'd wake up with a massive migraine. After only 7 visits spread out over more than a month, I don't have the problem anymore. But it's not just the actual chiropractic work that makes this place great, it's the amount of personal care and attention. Deanne always greets me by name and is always a source of great conversation All together, it's my first chiropractic experience and I'm so glad I made the choice to go to Dr. Koch. Thanks for everything. read more

Dr. Robert Koch is amazing! I have been going to see him for several months and he has helped cure headaches that I had. He has also helped friends and family with other situations that they've had as well. He is a very unique chiropractor in that he's interested in overall wellness as opposed to other chiropractors I've met that just want to have you come in very frequently. Dr. Jenelle also helps with things such as B12 shots and overall wellness and their massage therapist there are awesome. Can't say enough about how much I love Essential Mind & Body! read more

I have been to many chiropractic offices that felt like and conveyor belt, impersonal and often painful. This is not one of those offices. From the friendly personal greeting by Mily at the front desk, to the personalized care from Dr. Tino, this office recognizes that not all people should receive the same treatments. Dr. Tino has helped me from my neck to my feet, literally. He addresses all problems and pain that I experience with compassion, expertise, and best of all, results. I had my first chiropractic massage there, and I have never felt like I was in more capable hands, it helped my aches and pains tremendously and I will definitely be getting them more frequently. I look forward to seeing the acupunturist as well. This team of doctors and wellness professionals are top notch, I highly recommend their services to anyone sick and tired of the conveyor belt! read more

I've been visiting the center for 2 years now and I only have wonderful things to say. I came over w/the amazing Dr. Montoya, who I see for general acupuncture for stress and pain management. She is a wonderful, and insightful doctor. A session w/ her leaves me clear-headed and refreshed. Started seeing Dr. Koch about a random pain in my shoulder, and after just 3 weeks it feels amazing. Dr. Koch is outstanding; he makes understanding one's ailment accessible and has a wonderful bedside manner. He's knowledgeable and extremely professional, while maintaining a cordial and inviting air. Many thanks to the good doctors and their amazing team. read more

AMAZING. I started seeing Dr. Robert 5 years ago for maintenance care and the occasional stiff neck. He is wonderful and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. He adjusted me until the day I delivered my daughter and I had an amazing pregnancy. Now he adjusts my daughter who is 7 months old and my husband. I could never say enough about Dr. Robert and his staff and how much my family and I appreciate them. You're in very good hands. read more

Feeling Ripped Off. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Purchase 2 Massage gift certificates at 2 for $99.00. (was told they were $49.50 each) I used one & my massage therapist left. I was told I could get a refund. when I went to do this, I was told I would only get $34.00 of the $49.50 due to me. How is this good business practice. the last time I checked, $99. divided by 2 IS $49.50! The receptionist didn't want to hear anything I had to say. read more
