Upon entering thrive clinic for my dogs euthanasia appointment, we were greeted by a Receptionist named Kelly Entwisle Leblanc put us in a room then proceeded to " BOOP " my dog on the nose making her very confused as she was going blind and deaf . Dear Kelly , this was not the time to "boop" a dog on the nose ! not on the day of their final goodbye . But that was the least of what was going to happen my family , a week later When I picked up her remains, I was given a BROKEN clay paw print . In a bag I was given her ashes with the wrong name on it. YES the wrong name . In the same packet was another envelope with her paw prints that had her correct name making the entire situation even more confusing and distressing. When I brought this to Kellys attention, she immediately blamed the manager, " my manager knew about this " while the manager told me Kelly never informed her about what happened. Instead of taking responsibility, I was left with conflicting stories and no real apology or effort to make things right. Kelly then blamed the cremation company final gift " they do this all of the time , I'll call them and make sure they fucking fix this" why were you swearing ? Why were you so unprofessional? The cremation company confirmed a mistake was made by Thrive and not them . I then drove 2 hours to the cremation place to have them switch my dogs ashes into the right bag with her right name . Thrive made NO effort to fix this situation I HAD TO DO IT. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through. The mistakes themselves were deeply upsetting, but the lack of compassion, accountability, transparency and follow-up made an already devastating day even more painful for our family . I did not receive an apology from Mrs Kelly Entwisle , not a call not a letter . I did not receive any type of reimbursement even after they knew I had to drive to the cremation site myself with my dogs ashes to fix this situation. I will tell everyone to stay away from Thrive natick .

Max had his group of friends since he was a puppy and the same dog walker as well. *If you are not a crazy dog lover you can stop reading now as the rest will not make sense. Max is very sensitive and routine oriented. He sleeps with his head nestled against my neck every night. I have a 1.5 year old son that is my world, but I consider Max my first born as we are inseparable. Taking all of that into consideration, I began the search for a dog-walker that I would be comfortable with, one that could help Max become acclimated to the suburbs. I'm a small business owner and do my homework and I'm very picky about service providers and their ability to go above and beyond. I had interviewed 3 dog-walkers that I would categorize as looking at this job as just that, a job (i.e. "let's hurry up and get this walk over"). Then, I met Christina. Christina has exceeded my expectations in every aspect of what she does. I respect that she's starting her own dog-walking business and has drive and determination, but most importantly she understands my connection with Max, how sensitive he is, and has catered to his needs as we've begun the adjustment to our new house. She has offered to stop by a few times during the day to check on him and that means the world to me. She's punctual and simply a genuinely good person that I trust enough to care for my boy. She understands what so many other people/companies don't anymore, and that's providing a good customer experience. My one concern is that others will begin to hire her because she is THAT GOOD.
