She was familiar with the knee issue my dog has and advised about not cutting my dog's hair too short since she could get sunburned. Timing and price were very reasonable. We will be back for sure. Also, we were advised that our dog is a little overweight - because SHE IS! It's 100% our fault and we know that. I'm not sure why anyone would get offended by this, it's unhealthy and it's the owner's fault. We should be reminded to keep our pets healthy and in good shape. He was reactive towards other dogs and strangers, and because of his age, I was worried he was set in his ways. Thankfully, Marina was able to build his confidence and my pup isnt as fearful or anxious on his walks anymore. I am so so grateful that with her help, Luffy's quality of life has drastically improved. He can control his impulses and is so much calmer and confident. And now that he is calmer, I am also so much calmer and the walks have been actually relaxing rather than stressful! I kept him on for the weekly hikes, and he absolutely loves hiking with his new crew. But she was in desperate need of a professional bath so we were on the look-out for a private groomer. Luckily, we ran into Ginia on an ice cream run once with Mia. Ginia was very nice and calm as her daughter wanted to pet Mia. We could easily tell that Ginia loves animals and knows how to treat them. Upon entering thrive clinic for my dogs euthanasia appointment, we were greeted by a Receptionist named Kelly Entwisle Leblanc put us in a room then proceeded to " BOOP " my dog on the nose making her very confused as she was going blind and deaf . Dear Kelly , this was not the time to "boop" a dog on the nose ! not on the day of their final goodbye . But that was the least of what was going to happen my family , a week later When I picked up her remains, I was given a BROKEN clay paw print . In a bag I was given her ashes with the wrong name on it. YES the wrong name . In the same packet was another envelope with her paw prints that had her correct name making the entire situation even more confusing and distressing. When I brought this to Kellys attention, she immediately blamed the manager, " my manager knew about this " while the manager told me Kelly never informed her about what happened. Instead of taking responsibility, I was left with conflicting stories and no real apology or effort to make things right. Kelly then blamed the cremation company final gift " they do this all of the time , I'll call them and make sure they fucking fix this" why were you swearing ? Why were you so unprofessional? The cremation company confirmed a mistake was made by Thrive and not them . I then drove 2 hours to the cremation place to have them switch my dogs ashes into the right bag with her right name . Thrive made NO effort to fix this situation I HAD TO DO IT. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through. The mistakes themselves were deeply upsetting, but the lack of compassion, accountability, transparency and follow-up made an already devastating day even more painful for our family . I did not receive an apology from Mrs Kelly Entwisle , not a call not a letter . I did not receive any type of reimbursement even after they knew I had to drive to the cremation site myself with my dogs ashes to fix this situation. I will tell everyone to stay away from Thrive natick .

Here's the thing with sending your dog to training. It ONLY WORKS if you continue the work after…read more Having said that - I have nothing but amazing things to say about Doggone Fit and their staff. They are caring and professional. They get to really know your dog and set up a plan according to their behavioral needs. It is not a "one size fits all" training method as different dogs require different experiences with training. We are experienced German Shepherd owners, but we adopted a 9 month old Shepherd who had no previous training and was traumatized by the sudden death of her previous owner. She was nervous and insecure. She needed more than what we could give her. In comes Doggone Fit. Our trainer Richie fell in love with Leia and she him. We did the 2 week board and train and it was worth EVERY penny of the $2K+ we spent. Leia needed to learn some boundaries and build some confidence. She came home loving the tools and structure she learned. **And I will say it again** - YOU NEED to continue with the training. Your dog will come home improved and will have learned the tools, but unless you continue with the protocol your dog will backslide. We have stuck with Doggon Fit's protocol and Leia is thriving. We even boarded her for the first time with Richie and she was in heaven. It was like summer camp for her. Richie sent us daily updates and photos and we felt so good knowing she was having fun and in the hands of someone who cared for her and obviously knew her training needs. Here's a picture of our happy, confident girl now. She has come so incredibly far. If it wasn't for Doggone Fit we probably would have continued to struggle with meeting her specific needs. She loves the work she learned there and we continue with it daily. It gives her the confidence and structure she (and many dogs) need.

We loved having our high energy dog participate in the adventure hikes and seeing all the adorable photos Joe would very actively post after almost every walk.
