They made the decision for me that my dog was fine and that he could wait until pick-up time to address the wound. I completely understand that these situations happen but the way the situation was handled was baffling to me. My dog was brought straight from daycare to our local veterinarians office and treated with antibiotics as a precaution. A year later it's absolutely heartbreaking to hear that a dog was attacked and died in their care, but to be honest I am not surprised. Very glad I didn't sit around and wait for this to happen to my beloved pup. It seems as though it may be time to reevaluate the attendance levels that are deemed appropriate for the size of the facility. Maybe Preppy Pet will start to value safety of the animals in its care, over money.

When we arrived for our appointment I was rudely met by a groomer who told us that we should have called an hour before arriving as they were an hour behind on this day. First of all as a business owner I find it appalling that you would treat a new paying customer this way. Secondly, the place is extremely small there were several dogs being groomed and it had to be at least 85 degrees in the place. I have two beautiful labs I would NEVER bring them to this place. My cat just needed to be brushed out that of which they assured me that they offer as a service. I would not have left our cat there .
